I recently lost my brother and Charlie was such a great help and a blessing to our family. I am very grateful for him.

My husband (only child) grew up in Akron. Today we buried his mother AND father at the National Cemetery. None of this would be possible without Charlie and his folks. Such attention to detail, caring attitude, helpfulness, being available at a moments notice- just amazing. I can't even imagine coordinating all of the things Schlup-Pucak did for us and our family especially during this amazingly difficult time. From beginning to the very end and providing us with all the keepsakes that we could have ever needed. It was an extremely stressful week and we couldn't have survived without them.

Charlie, thank you for everything you did to make this sad time in our lives a little brighter. Having known you for years in a personal environment, seeing you in your professional setting truly made me respect you in a different light. You were professional but personable, thorough, respectful, patient and answered our many questions. The personal touches you included were above anything I’ve seen from a funeral home.

Thank you for your kindness and for giving our mom the treatment she deserved.

Where do I start never at 38 I would ever imagine not having parents at 19 they took care of my father's cremation at 38 now my mother's I didn't know what to do or where to begin they helped me tremendously with it all I'm so greatfull they were here to help along the way I would have been lost and made it as comforting as possible through it all 🙏❤ forever greatfull

Charlie went out of his way to make sure our family and friends were taken care of during our time of sorrow. Thank you Charlie for helping us make it thru our time of grief.

We had an unexpected death a little over a year ago during the covid pandemic. They made a very hard time a little lighter. They were the only place to help our accomodations during the pandemic and made us as comfortable as possible. The love we received from Charlie was phenomenal. He was always there to talk even if you just needed to cry. I would recommend them to everyone! God bless this place ❤🙏

My family has used schlup Pucak for a car lot of years and we have always been taken care of with the most grace and respect. Charlie Wilson is amazing and so very kind and helping. I hope they are always there to serve in such a caring atmosphere. God Bless all of you.

Don Pucak is one of the nicest kindest men that I have come to know. He has a warm an gentle nature which makes him extremely well suited for this business. Thank you Don for all that you do to help grieving famlies.

I’m not sure how my sister and I would have gotten through this last week with out this place and Charlie! You knew what we needed and I couldn’t thank you enough for the closure you helped us get durning this nightmare!

My mother had a “Prepaid” funeral and now we are being charged over $4000 more for her funeral. She passed away in Nov and we didn’t get the final bill until Jan
Her obituary had too many errors to mention and had to be resubmitted. They also addressed and mailed a survey about their services to my deceased mother in Dec.
The loss of our mother was hard enough but to be dragged out and suddenly told we owe another $4,179.81 over the original contract price seems absurd.
We were only in their facility for 3 hours, they had no background music playing and I mentioned to them that their candy dish was empty (my mother had almost 100 children, grand children, great grandchildren & great-great grandchildren) so filling the candy dish would have helped, their response was “it will be filled tomorrow”
I will not and would not recommend this facility to anyone.
