The Bistro of Oakwood

So friends took us out for dinner and it was slammin! The bacon Mac and cheese was redunkulous! The snapper was incredible. Great salad too. We had the buckeye pie for dessert. Nuts!! Everything is incredible!!

Tony and everyone on the staff are a pleasure to watch. This place has some very exceptional people serving a dining experience. Great food and drinks no matter what you order. It is aways busy as it should be. The positive vibe is contagious. We have enjoyed coming back .

This is one of my ALL TIME FAVOURITE restaurants in the area. Tony is the manager and he’s amazing. It doesn’t matter if I have a big corporate group or a small intimate gathering, the Bistro of Oakwood always delivers excellent food and service. I highly recommend this venue!

First time dining here. Was blown away by the food. Our server Leslie was also fantastic. Will definitely be adding this to our regular dining rotation.

Came to this place on a whim, thr atmosphere was good, our server was a young male named Eli, he knew the menu, rattled off the specials with no problems, answered every question I had, checked with the kitchen over a food allergy, was on top of everything. I can't say enough good things about him. The food was amazing. Had the honey Brussel sprout appetizer, pasta from the special list and the gouda pepper jack mashed potatoes....so darn good! With this place being a last minute pick, i wasn't sure what to expect, but I will definitely be returning again!

The photos don't do it justice. If you are a chicken liver enthusiast these are a MUST try. Rack of lamb so fantastic I wanted to gnaw the meat off the bone. Truffles...melt in your mouth delicious. The martini...well, it's peanut butter and chocolate..enough said. Wait staff was polite and on point. 5☆ all the way.

Food here is great! Loved the Nashville Hot Chicken and the Bistro Mac & Cheese is to die for! Rack of Lamb was pretty good too, although when I first tried it a couple of weeks ago it was much better seasoned, love the twist with the cherry glaze. Also really enjoyed the potato soup. Will definitely be back!

Just had to shoot you a note because our taste buds are still doing a happy dance from our recent visit. That Almond Chicken with Spinach? It's like a culinary tango – each bite had us craving an encore.

And can we talk about the Chicken Parmesan? That dish is a masterpiece, for sure. And the Catch of the Day? Deliciousness on a plate – you guys are making seafood dreams come true!

Oh, and the drinks? Those martinis are basically a sips of pure joy. It turned our evening into a comedy of happiness – move over, stand-up specials, we've got martinis stealing the show.

The atmosphere is relaxing and the staff is friendly. The food is out of this world. Everything is prepared fresh and w care.

We always have a great experience here. Their specials vary nicely, and we have had several. The appetizers are great, and our wait staff has always been excellent

We celebrated my husbands 80th birthday today and Tony and the wait staff did everything they could to make our evening a success. They were exceptionally kind and thoughtful dealing with our little grandkids. The service and the food was excellent. Our out of town guests were very impressed with the restaurant.

The almost perfect rating for this restaurant is for real. The food is excellent, the staff is pleasant and attentive, and the atmosphere is wonderfully calm. I can't believe I waited this long to eat here. Everyone here made me feel welcomed as if I had been there before. The food was hot, flavorful and took just the right amount of time to come out. The bread was also warm on the inside, with a crispy outside. I will definitely visit again.

We have visited the Bistro of Oakwood several times and never have been disappointed. The appetizers and entrées are tastefully prepared. Tony and his staff are always cheerful and inviting. We can’t wait to go back.

Ate here while visiting Canton and was pleasantly surprised! Our party of 5 was impressed with the atmosphere and service as well as our meals. Well trained staff is prevalent and other important amenities like very clean and stocked restrooms round out the fine restaurant. Then there's the food. My pretzel crusted chicken with mashed potatoes was excellent! My wife loved her chicken marsala. They even have a gluten free menu.

My wife and I went there for 1st time for anniversary and it didn't disappoint. Ethan was our server and was very kind and knowledgeable. We both had steak and it was cooked exactly the way we wanted and delicious. We also had the Bacon Brussel sprouts for an appetizer, very good. The mixed drinks and atmosphere was A+.

We had a wonderful dinner! The food was astounding! I tried the duck breast and thinking about it still makes my mouth water. Sam was our server and he was incredible! He paid attention to detail, was knowledgeable and went above and beyond. I highly recommend a stop in here!

We ate there last night and Crystal was our Waitress and she was excellent. Our food was PHENOMENAL. I wanted fish and she recommend the scrod. It was sooo good. We also had the mac and cheese. ((Heaven)) for appetizers i got the calamari (my absolute favorite) for drinks i had the peach jalapeno Margertia. I cannot say enough GOOD things about this restaurant. One of my favorites in fine dinning in canton by far. Even in the summer the outside dinning is so lovely with beautiful flowers. Thanks for the yummy foods. We had a blast!!

Great food, excellent service! Thanks Lanette you are awesome! Be sure and try the chocolate martinis, it's dessert in a glass. The Chef is superb! My steak was a perfect medium well and wasn't all burnt on the outside, that's love ! The creme brulee and raspberry cheesecake were tasty too! It's worth the drive if you live in Massillon, you won't be disappointed. We also tried the fried green tomato appetizer without the bacon. Crispy coating and delish! I enjoyed the chicken livers too. Somehow the Chef managed to remove that gamey aftertaste. One visit will make you a repeat customer. Bon Appétit!
