Flat Iron Tap

Seriously my favorite place to start my weekend night out! The staff is so friendly and accommodating. I absolutely love trying their unique beers! I had the mangonada and it was so good! The wonton mozz-sticks and the pollo fresco burger are my go to, they never disappoint. Love the vibe in this place, it does get crowded but worth the wait!! A must stop if you're in LG!

A friend was going to Lake Geneva and was asking me for dining suggestions. I was looking at my Lake Geneva bookmark and didn’t notice Flat Iron Tap had a review from me!! Sooooo, here we go!! The designer had wonderful attention to detail! I loved the creativity to showcase iron work. Very cool!

We loved our dinner I wish I remembered what we ordered, BUT I did take a picture!! My husband always sighs before we eat, because he knows there will be a picture!!

Big 8oz burgers! In town for my husbands work venue and went out for lunch while he was golfing. Nice little bar. Alternative music playing. Sports on TV’s. Not a beer drinker so I can’t tell you anything about that. Several on tap it looks like! They have bison and lamb on the menu as well as the grass fed beef burgers. I had fries with mine. They are tiny straw type fries but really well seasoned.
I chose the WisconSinner. Oh my! The cheese curds on this burger were mouth watering. Bacon was super thick. Onion strings were just right. And you can’t go wrong with a pretzel bun! First burger in a long time that I didn’t put ketchup on. Anyone who knows me, knows I love ketchup on my burgers! I like the menu has some nice selections that aren’t the typical American burger choices. I couldn’t finish it all and took the rest with me.
Staff was friendly and attentive. Madeline was my waitress. Went on a rainy Tuesday around 2 and the place was half full. Seating is limited for the small bar. But there is outdoor seating as well. Parking all around the area is paid meter parking. It is in walking distance from many of the hotels along the lake in downtown Geneva. Saw all ages coming and going while I was here. Locals and visitors. Will come back again if ever passing through here. Doesn’t look like much from the outside but give it a try, I don’t think you will be disappointed!

Went here on several recommendations, and was SO glad to have done so. Incredible burgers, and a Spotted Cow! Not wheelchair accessible, but there are tables outside (for nice weather use).

Stopped here with my fiance after a morning of shopping and luckily got in just before the lunch rush. Our sandwiches arrived quickly and were delicious! He got a salmon sandwich on pita while I got the veggies burger with garlic aioli. Both were great! The bean burger was flavorful, not at all dry, and had a crispy outside with a soft interior. The salmon was well cooked and generous! The chips were also delicious. We will definitely return when we're back in town.

I can’t say enough. We arrived shortly after they opened up on Sunday. We sat at the bar. The bar tender asked us if we wanted a drink. My wife and I started with a draft beer. We both ordered a burger. My wife is vegan. She got the bean burger. All was amazing! Thank you for the great experience!

DUUUUUUDE I loved this place! The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was really cool, and the burger was DELICIOUS. The chips were great too. I can't even make a joke about taking off points for not having strawberry lemonade because I keep thinking about how good the Van Helsing burger was. Shout out to all the girlbosses over at Flat Iron Top!

Super excited to hear about a larger liquor selection. We stopped in and tried it out.
I had the Teddy Roosevelt and it was spectacular. I tried it medium rare and think that's the way to go for a lean meat. The burger was awesome.

Visiting Lake Geneva for the first time and have tried out a few restaurants - this is by far the BEST. Best food we have ever had in a restaurant, period. I had the Graceland (pulled pork sandwich) and my husband had the Van Helsing. Both amazing. Highly recommend trying this place out. Was family friendly, even with a 4 year old and 9 months old.

Wonderful craft beer selection, huge list of mouthwatering burgers and the best made from scratch cheese curds around! I had the Van Helsing Burger, and as long as you like garlic, your gonna wanna try this one! They have a huge wall of beers on tap, most you won't find anywhere else. It's a smaller area but that's what makes it a nice and comfy environment! Would highly recommend it for anyone who appreciates quality craft beer and amazing food. Located right next to the lake. Can't wait to go back and try more of their IPA's and eat another plate of those cheese curds that melted in my mouth.

Great Place!!The restaurant its pretty small and we had to wait 20 min for a table which was not a problem for us.We had the cheese curds and they were probably the best i have ever had!They are using very high quality meat i had the Black N Blue burger and it was fantastic just a little bit under seasoned. Service was fast and everyone was polite.We will be back!!

Eating here was a great decision! The food was incredible. Our server, bless her heart, was equally as fantastic and patient! We were a group of five and split the chips and queso which also came with a salsa. They both had a kick to them, but were delicious. For the entree I ordered the two 3oz filet mignon sliders. This was one of my favorite meals I've ever had. I got the fries as a side which were amazing fries, you can tell they make them fresh. Even the aioli and ranch were fresh and homemade. 10/10 would come back here. Everyone left happy

The beers and food were great our first time visiting, but then they hired the chef from a closed down Chicago restaurant and the food got even better!

I haven’t been anything but impressed with each menu item I’ve tried, and we go a lot. Pictured are the Fish Tacos which were a special 2 weeks back.

The Chef rotates in special menu items every week or two and they have been amazing.

Small building so keep in mind the busy meal times and try and beat the crowd.

Everything we ate was awesome! We sat at the bar and the bartender was great. I would highly recommend this place!!!!!! Get the sprouts too!

Omigosh their cheese curd’s were the best I’ve ever had so far, it was perfection and the dipping sauce was so yummy. And their burgers where so tasty, worth every calorie.
The place itself is really cute and small so it has that intimate vibe going. We had an early dinner here and we loved it. We will be coming back any time we are in the area again!!!

Probably the best burger I've had in my life. I ordered the Van Helsing and my wife had the Roman Turtle. The cheese curds are amazing too

The Peach Mango Cider is to die for, best juice ever! The burgers were cooked like we asked for medium. And the server was friendly, a bit busy and efficient.

Food was amazing and service was great. I wasn't in the mood for a burger but reluctantly order one anyways. I was pleasantly surprised. The burger was cooked perfectly and was super juicy. The fries were phenomenal. The only negative is the place is a little cozy so you have to deal with people walking past you and getting bumped occasionally. I would go back in a heartbeat though.

My husband and I were there 2/11/24. We were so lucky to have had Ashlynn as our server. I can’t remember when we had so much fun. She’s the Bomb.
The food was amazing. Highly recommend!!! So next time your in Lake Geneva you have to go there!!!!!! I would give them 10 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
