Montini Open Space Preserve

Excellent hike on a nice sunny day. The level of difficulty was pretty easy for the leisurely hiker and the views were great

It's a perfect hike, I have been running, hiking and casually walking this mainstay of Downtown Sonoma for years, kid friendly, it's an approachable trail for all fitness levels with an impressive Vista of Sonoma at the trails 1/2 way point

Beautiful open space hike. Not crowded . Intersects with Overlook Trail

I enjoyed hiking on the trail very much. As beautiful day, a few birds, no flowers that I saw. I'm glad I brought my hiking poles because there are steep stone steps a couple of places that I would have had a hard time with. I love to hike even with cartilage missing in both knees, so poles help a lot.

Upper meadow open. Impressive job renovating trail. Wider, smoother, safer. Beautiful stone steps. Trail runners should be drooling. Very family friendly now. Safer for all ages.

The Sonoma Overlook trail is an easy hike, even with a chronic illness. Great views. Lots of people wearing spandex tights. Flowers and places to sit. Trail is in partial shade. I was told the trail was 1 to 1.5 miles to the top. The trail is not steep, but it is somewhat rocky and uneven so wear decent shoes, but even then I saw someone in sandals walk up. Bring water because there is none on the trail Beware of ticks, they carry Lyme disease and the trail sign warns of this.

Nice hike and very scenic views. Go early in the day for an easy, quiet, shaded hike in the woods.

Nice views of Sonoma. Well maintained trails to hike thru forests and open areas in the hills adjacent to the Sonoma Plaza.

Great easy pace up the hill. And the view was more than worth the hike.

The view at the end of this short hike is worth the effort. Several benches are placed along the way if needed.

Would be a great beginner MTB trail but sadly no bikes or horses allowed

Lots of walking trails with beautiful views of Sonoma. Peaceful. Close to town.

The place is so peaceful and hopefully they keep it clean...Let the Nature Heal Itself.

I didn't go there. I was visiting Montini ranch. You can be close and you claim you were there.
