The Boat House Bar & Grill

The food was good, a bit expensive, but due to location. Waitress was nice, The staff was playing dice at the bar. There were only 3 tables occupied due to the holiday timing.

Great little place. The outdoor patio is really nice giving a great view of the lake. My shrimp taco was pretty big, and it was delicious. If I was in the area again I would definitely stop by, especially on a nice day.

We had a lovely time watching the sun set on the deck. Service was good. Food was lovely. My husband wasn't a huge fan of his old fashioned.

Go for the cheese curds! The rest of the menu is meh, but the curds are fantastic. Make a plate your whole meal.

Views of the lake are lovely too. We only come here in winter, in the off season. During warm weather it's a mad house, but it does have a patio so it's pretty nice.

I'm sure those cheese curds will call me back next time I'm in lake Geneva!

Everything about this visit was great. We had came with our two young children and sat on the deck outside. Great view of the lake and fast service even though there weren’t many of us outside. Food was better than your average bar food. Recommend the Nashville chicken sandwich!

Had the best melt in your mouth cheddar cheese curds! They were gone before I could snap a picture 😋😆 The Filthy Pig with a marinated grilled chicken breast and pulled pork with bacon was excellent. Can't wait to come back in the summer and enjoy the lake view 😍

Great food, friendly attentive service. Live music was awesome Sam was very entertaining, can't wait to go listen to him again. Fun place to just hang out with friends, watching the sunset was an added bonus.

Very pleasant experience today with friendly wait staff, prompt service, great tasting food, and reasonable pricing. Good atmosphere and certainly nice view of Lake Geneva. We'll be back!

First night of our girls trip and decided to give this place a shot and it did not disappoint. It's a bar food atmosphere so it's nice and cute inside. I got a beer, fried pickles, pretzel with cheese and a burger called juicy Lucy 🙄 Everything was delicious. A little busy and behind on a Saturday night but that is to be expected. A real wonderful time!

Visiting the area for the first time. Stopped in and was seated rather quickly. Hummus plate, small Bavarian and fried pickles hit the spot. Sat outside and enjoyed the view of the lake. Busy area for after labor day.

OMG!! Beautiful environment deck side right there to lake Geneva. Nobody beat this restaurant.

This place is about the view and good Wisconsin pub food. Loved the burgers and appetizers. The view is unparalleled. Service was attentive.
Come for food stay a while taking the view in!

Recent update: we have grown to love their cheese curds. We believe one of the best in the area. They are large, (look at the pic!) Very lightly breaded, and are yellow cheddar. And we also have started getting the fried pickles. Burgers continue to be our staple. So tasty!

This was the last stop before we had to go the next day, and had the most relaxing vibe being right on Lake Geneva. Food was good, good prices, and the views and atmosphere was absolutely excellent. Since this place is on the other side of the busy area, traffic is low so you get a lot of peace, quiet, and comfort here. Great place to relax in the summer sometime in the evening through sundown.

This place is a must visit for it’s outdoor sitting during sunset. If you are going in summer be prepared for 20 min waiting time in afternoon. Recommendation : Cheese Curd, roasted wings, basil pesto pizza.

Stopped in for lunch. The staff was nice and we were seated immediately. Food was great, I had the Cubano and my wife had the Caprese sandwich.

I wish I could give this place 100 stars . The food was amazing! It had that home town feel that I was looking for to take my family. We felt like locals, and the staff felt like family. We stopped here after walking around in Lake Geneva. Great food and beer menu! The cheese curds are the best i have ever had. Highly recommend. Will eat here again for sure.
