La Monarca Mexican Restaurant

We are town for the week and gave Jaimes Cafe a try for breakfast. The place was clean and our server was very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and portions were large. Eggs and hash browns were cooked perfectly with fresh ingredients. Crepes were light and crisp and the pancakes were golden and fluffy.

Omg! Food was awesome!!! Everything was great very clean little place! I had this i don't know how to say it but you better be hungry!!!! Good service also .

Great service here! We came for lunch, and both got the Taco Dinner. With a mix of tacos.

Chips aren't the best.

But the tacos are GREAT!

I got a few different types, like Asada, Al Pastor, Pollo, and Beef.

The Al Pastor is amazing! With delicious cubes of pineapple.

Very good prices.

Our waiter was extremely nice, and kept our drinks full. He made us feel welcome, and thanked us for our business.

This is the place I've been searching for. Ever since I moved from Illinois I have been having a hard time finding a little authentic Mexican food restaurant to eat at. One that serves great food at a price I can afford. And this is the place. It's small and quaint. Never too busy. The food tastes amazing and the staff is always friendly. I am vegetarian and they are always willing to meet my dietary needs. I highly recommend giving them a try. Even my boyfriend loves the steak burritos here. Says they are full of flavor.

We stopped in on Monday for lunch. Waitress greeted us immediately and brought chips and salsa to our table along with the menus. The chips were freshly made and warm. Definitely the best chips I've had in a long time! I ordered steak tacos dinner and my husband ordered a steak burrito. The tacos came with rice and beans and everything on my plate was hot and very flavorful. My husband enjoyed his burrito, and commented on how everything stuffed into this extra large burrito was super fresh. We definitely will be visiting again. Wish i could give higher than 5 stars for food and service!

The food is always amazing here!! I usually get the authentic steak tacos which are fantastic. Today I tried a chicken tostada and will definitely be back for another one of those! It's a good thing I don't live close or I'd be broke from eating their food all the time 😂

We stopped here on a whim and were beyond impressed. Service was amazing. Our kids can be rambunctious but we're treated with such kindness as if they were family. Food was superb.

Great food. Good prices. Very nice people. If you like tacos, go ahead and get 3 beef tacos with onion, cilantro, cheese, and a side of salsa verde. You won't be disappointed.

Good service. Great food. Flavor was good and the burrito wasn't dripping in oil like those from the other downtown Mexican restaurant. Decent selection of beers and a bright ambiance make for an overall great experience.

I had a burrito with excellent taste. It wasn't too big and it wasn't too small. I had to eat some of my wife's fajitas because they were so good.

Cow tongue tacos are FANTASTIC!!! Staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. I’ve never had cow tongue tacos before and these were AWESOME!!! I will be back.
