LOCOBA by Platform Beer Co

Always a pleasure visiting platform. We always have a great experience with Sarah behind the bar, she makes delicious cocktails and offers great recommendations. Love the decor and atmosphere as well, they often times have DJ's playing music for the evening crowd. If you're walking down Main street do yourself a favor and stop in for a drink.

Delicious beer in a casual environment. Platform is a simple and easy space to hang out while enjoying a beverage and a conversation. Although they do both coffee and beer, the place feels more like a coffee shop than a bar.

Love Platform and though this is not the columbus location which is near and dear to my heart, it is very good and they have TONS of options in cans as well as a decent amount of drafts and seasonal offerings. Bar tenders are sweet, atmosphere is cool, absolutely recommend!

Locoba is a cool spot on the corner of Main and 12th in OTR with tons of natural light and a lot of plants. The space is very open and minimal with marble-esque white table tops and lots of white and wood grain. Aesthetically this is newly one of my favorite spaces in OTR.

They have pour over and espresso coffee service (8a–4p), beer on draft and in cans to go, and a handful of cocktails. The carry-out beers are all their own with frequent limited releases, like the ChocoBanana and NanaButter (peanut butter and banana) sours released today. I overheard that they also have some food available which is off menu so ask!

The coffee is ordered on the left separately from the bar and includes espresso drinks as well as market-rate pour overs (it would be great if they had a list on display of what the current offerings are). They have oat milk available and common syrups (+50¢ each). I had a latte which was good but not the best one I've had in OTR, and I'll probably keep going to dedicated coffee shops when I'm feeling picky, but it does the job in a punch. At the coffee bar they also have a handful of pastries and on Saturdays, top notch biscuits from Allez across the street (highly recommended).

By the way, you can get on the free Fioptics wifi here which I think is a gigabit line. I ran a speed test and got 280 Mbps down which is incredible.

This is a cool place if you're into weirder beers, particularly less bitter stuff like sours and fruity stuff, and not predominantly hoppy stuff compared to other breweries in the area. I thought the peanut butter sour was nice.

Service was good, prompt, and very friendly.

Locoba is unique bringing together part coffee shop, part brewery/bar, and a nice hangout space. I'm excited to have it in OTR. I'll definitely be back!

Fun fact - The name LoCoBa (officially Locoba by Platform) stands for "Local Coffee Barrels" in reference to an idea they're going for where they will reuse whiskey barrels to age beer and they coffee.

Love this space. Also being a brewery/cafe means the crowd could be a mixed bag as well - but in a good way!

As a craft Beer enthusiast, I was really impressed with what they're doing here. It's small, but a really solid selection of light and dark beers for anyone's palate, and even a tad cheaper in price from what I was expecting ($6.50 for a Strawberry Porter? Heck YES.) They also serve a selection of coffee and tea, which I did not try but enjoyed the option and might have another time.

This should be a spot on your list for your next downtown adventure.

Seriously had the best time here! We intended to go to try a second beer location but loved LOCOBA so much we stayed. The covid procedure is top notch. They even have a sign in for contact tracing. The beers were fantastic (Platform always has great beer) but what made it great was the friendly knowledgeable staff. Everyone in the place was talking and laughing (from our socially distanced tables). Great beer; great place.

Great place to hang out! They have quite a few beers on tap and an extensive carrying of cans. They do only sell Platform beers but there is for sure something for everyone. Do not shy away from the donut beers. Everyone I have ever had is amazing.

This was my first visit to Locoba, and the first time I've ever written a review...but I had to because it was that amazing.

This is the perfect place to enjoy a drink after work and relax. The staff is incredible - shoutout to Pate and Derek - thank you for turning a terrible day into a GREAT ONE!

The staff was really nice when I visited. I stopped by to find a 6-pack of the Platform Tart Fizz, but unfortunately they didn't have any. The staff asked if there was anything in particular that I was looking for, and gave a few recommendations. They even provided a few samples without me even asking.

Came here for a croissant and some nitro coffee. Cute, bright, atmosphere, good coffee and the kombucha on draft was a fun surprise, although a little on the sweet side. Overall a really pleasant experience.

Great place for a good cappuccino and espresso! Outside seating available.

Quick but very pleasant stop. Enjoyed a free delicious torte with our glass of Torte blonde ale. Friendly service.

A really cool place that serves Platform brews as well as cocktails and coffee. We always stop in when we are in town.

Very chill. Bright and airy. Bartender was cool also the Barista. We really liked the energy.

The rosellini is delicious!! They have free delivery and it’s always super quick and easy!
