Daisuki Sushi Highland

This is a great sushi spot! I love the Louisville Roll with Strawberry and jalapeño, the perfect mix of flavor and heat. I love how fresh the rice and ingredients are for everything. The Crab Rangoons and Pad Thai were also great!
It’s a great place for lunch, quiet and laid back, but busy on the weekends and a great place to hang out. The staff are always friendly, great service!

Highly recommend trying them!

I love the cozy, warm atmosphere. The chirashi was beautiful and fresh, and the presentation was artistic. The service was prompt, professional, kind, and knowledgeable. I will return for another nice dinner out.

Food was fresh and delicious. Staff were so nice and friendly. We got Miso soup, Bento box ,Crab Rangoon and ginger salad , Yakisoba and Surf and turf Suchi.

Oh, I absolutely loved this place. Just happened to stumble across it because of the happy hour sign posted outside. I was soooooooooo happy I did. The food was very hot, fresh, delicious, and the servers were very attentive. I fell in love with this place and will definitely be back. Do yourself a favor and try them out.

Daisuki just opened on Bardstown Road so me and the boy decided to give it a try - SUPER glad we did as they're doing it right.
Servers are extremely friendly, helpful and have a great attitude, the decor is subtle and welcoming, everything is clean and fresh.

There are some interesting and different types of sushi and sashimi as you would expect and of course, all the favorites but there are also some great additions...
Pad thai, Red Curry and a range of other Asian treats that are well worth popping in for.

I let my son order as he's the Japanese expert and he went straight for a steak Bento box. Both he and I were very impressed! Large serving of quality meat, veg tempura (which was delicious), Gyoza, California rolls, PERFECTLY streamed rice and choice of Miso or salad.

I couldn't resist the Pad Thai which was sweet, filling and perfectly cooked. Added a bit of homemade Chilli oil and BOOM - amazing. We also grabbed a Dragon roll and you could TASTE the freshness - melt in the mouth avocado...TASTY!

Pricing was reasonably cheap too - We are all seeing the increases more and more lately but Daisuki has great portions of amazing foods with the average "Special rolls" at about $12 and general entree at $13 - 15.

EVEN BETTER is their lunch menu!! Check the pics - $12 is a BARGAIN!

Finally, they've only been open for a few days so the staff are learning the ropes with the service & POS etc but I definitely recommend you all check this place out!

We had a wonderful experience for a Thursday lunch. They had a great special that included 1 side, 1 entree, and a drink for 11.90. We ordered that and the fried special roll and that was the perfect amount of food for 2 people and our check was 34 with tip. The food was flavorful - the gyoza was out of this world and the tempura sushi was one of my top 5 rolls I ever had. Will definitely be back!

This is the best sushi I’ve had in Louisville. Everything was fresh and delicious, and they offer rolls that are different from what you’ll find anywhere else.

This is my first time at their new location on Bardstown Rd, I have been to their Logan Street location several times. The food was amazing! I had the Cucumber, Louisville and Daisuki Roll. All three rolls were so fresh and yummy! The Daisuki Roll was really spicy which I love and I hope all of their spicy rolls have that level of heat! The strawberry and jalapeño put together in the Louisville Roll were an awesome combination!
I highly recommend going to this location. The management is friendly and the service is awesome! The ambiance is chill and they have several beers on tap as well, it’s a great place to unwind and enjoy good food.

Daisuki's Bardstown location has great atmosphere and spectacular service. It lives on a strip of several other great restaurants and I still find myself coming back to it.

The bento boxes, lunch specials, and happy hour are fantastic value that come along with high quality food. I highly recommend checking it out during happy hour! Grab some gyoza as well, some of the best I've had!

My only complaint so far is that the fried rice and yakisoba, while delicious, are a bit greasy. I've had more left over oil from these two dishes than I would expect! Still gets five stars from me.

New complaint: They're no longer open for lunch! I'm sure there's legitimate reason for this, but it makes me quite sad.

Beautiful environment, with touches from local artist. My favorite sushi now in town. Definitely visiting again.

There Lunch Special is simply the best deal in town and has a great variety. But I myself cannot stop ordering the Red Curry. The staff is very welcoming and fun, so excited to have them in Bardstown!

I have been multiple times for lunch and takeout dinner and each time has been great. Friendly and quick service with great food and portions. The bento box is fantastic! Only issue I've had is they have had issues with the beer lines.

Friendly welcoming attentive service. Delicious Miso soup, Samosa appetizers, and spicy Salmon roll plus a tall draft of Miller Lite. Definitely returning to try more off their extensive menu. Convenient neighborhood location and relaxed atmosphere. Terrific for people watching too.

Fantastic spot. Went for lunch and split a Pad Thai lunch special and a roll withy wife. All of it was delicious.

This is their second location as well as their stand in the Logan Street Market. I got the Beef Pad See Ew lunch special with Gyoza and a Lemonade for $12, great deal! I ordered over the phone and they were very thorough to ensure everything was correct and so welcoming and friendly upon pickup. This should be added to everyone's go-to sushi/Asian spots in the Highlands.

Wonderful spot to grab a bite whether you’re in a hurry or plan to stay a while. Friendly staff, atmosphere, and the food is fantastic! (Try the red curry).

It is a small and delicius place to eat, the prices are fair due to food flavor, is super clean and the vibe is really quiet.
