Turtle Lake Tap & Grill

A hidden gem! We stumbled upon this place and it was worth the wait. The cheese curds were delicious, my chicken sandwich was perfectly cooked. The little ones enjoyed their chocolate milk and meals but the big hit was the service. The staff were great. Super nice to the kids and patient too. The only down side was I needed to change my 2 month olds diaper and when I got into the bathroom there was nowhere to do it so I had to go out to my car instead. Other than that I would go back to eat here and recommend it to others. The view of the lake was a nice bonus and I bet it's even better in the summer.

The burger I had was cooked perfectly. I also had the stuffed jalapeños and they were great! Great drink selection and local beers on tap. Outdoor seating options, and when you are done, there are chairs by the water you can use. Just ask before you head down as you need to switch to a plastic container. No glass off the deck area.

Food was great view was perfect 1st time there we will be back. We would like to mention that our lights where left on and we could not start our car and the staff took the time to come help jump the car and stayed with us until we figured it out what a great group. Special thank you to Bry,Nole,Andrew, and Nakita that was very kind of yiu to stay with us and help.

Fish fry - Old Fashioned - Sunsets! Great Great service and great fish fry! The view of the lake is awesome with chairs on the beach were so relaxing to watch the sun go down. The old fashioned was also sooo good!! We will be back!!!

We found the place quite by chance. We were looking for someplace to go after hiking in Carver Roehl Park. We found it on the map and are very happy we did. Located on the shore of Turtle Lake it has great outdoor seating overlooking the lake. I had the TL Spicy Chicken sandwich was excellent. My wifevhad the Chicken Quesadilla which was also excellent. We also had a Mai Ti and Tipsy Turtle for drinks. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

I surprise landed on this beautiful little gem! Great environment, great people, gorgeous view, wonderful food, good prices and they even had free smores at the door! I will definitely be going back! Had the baked shrimp for the fish fry, yummy! Saturdays they have live music, gotta check it out! Owners were present and was an awesome family environment!! A hidden getaway vacation spot. Or at least pretend you're on vacation while you visit! 10 outta 10 in my opinion!

The staff was very nice and the food great. It is a great family atmosphere. They had a nice hot chocolate bar to enjoy while resting after ice skating.

Wanted to love our first time here as we are very local but we came at 8:00pm on a Friday for fish. We waited an hour for our food with no explanation as to why it took so long. We are and was never checked on during our meal. When it was time for the bill we waited another ten minutes. Like I said, I wanted to love this and the food was good but the wait times will prevent us from returning. I felt really bad for the table with really young kids who waited longer than us for their meals.

Beautiful sunny afternoon. Stopped to have a bite. Had the Chicken Tenders and Onion rings. They were very good! Band was playing and we ate outside over looking the lake. Had a good time. Will definately go back!

Use to come out here as a kid. Wondered if it was still here. To my surprise it was and only got better. Atmosphere was great. Service phenomenal and food awesome. Highly recommend the garlic fries!!!!!

Great food, great atmosphere. Sat on the deck overlooking the lake. The food was fantastic. We had stuffed jalapenos, bruschetta chicken sandwich, and a steak and blu pizza. Beer selection okay; had New Glarus Moon Man.

Fabulous little find! The owner was a a terrific guy and a pleasure to talk to. Made us feel very welcome. Offered up his extra house for us to stay at since we are on Harleys and it was raining cats and dogs.

This place was actually very great. I had the cheese curds to start and they were delicious. Then I had the fish fry which was also very good. Lastly I had a dessert of bread pudding that was a real monster of a dessert. It was amazingly good. I had Quinn Jr wait my table and he was great. The bartender was also amazing and named Jess I think. I'll definitely be back when it's warmer out.

Turtle Lake Tap is a true hidden gem right on the lake. The food, libations, and service are nothing short of stellar! When you go, request to see if Elena is working. Her attention to detail, excellent customer service, and bartending skills only enhance the dining experience! Another happy customer who will be back soon!

We had bottomless mimosas and a few other specialty drinks. They were delicious and high quality. The staff was friendly and there’s a nice view of the lake.

Beautiful View, friendly staff — with great menu advice — and delicious food! What more could you ask for!!??
