Great mediterranean food! The owners are from Alexandria Egypt and prepare extremely authentic Egyptian cuisine. The kebabs hand Egyptian puff pita bread are outstanding. All of the food reminds us of our trip to Cairo and Luxor Egypt.

It was our first time at Solo. The service was excellent, the staff was friendly. And the meat lovers calzone that I got, was one of the best calzones that I have ever had. I will certainly make it a point to stop there again, the next time I pass through Pembroke!

Great food and great atmosphere. The wait staff were on top of their game. I'd go there again.

THE VERY BEST!!!!!

By far the very best Italian restaurant that I have ever been to. I got 3 items that were HUGE portions. So much food left over that I had to get 2 to go boxes. I just couldn't eat any more. It was so good that I tipped the cook and the waitress $20 each. It was so cheap. $20 for corn nuggets and there were at least 20 of them the size of tater tots or a little bigger. A huge "Taste of Italy" that has 4 of 5 Italian choices all together with 4 big pieces of garlic bread. Huge garlic knots that took up another entire plate. The place was so awesome. I will be coming back next weekend. I am from Floyd County and it only took a little over an hour to get there and so worth it.

The food was seriously delicious. Bbq chicken roll was given two thumbs up by my husband. My kids like the kids spaghetti and cheeseburgers. Their salads are so fresh and good. By no fault of their own (as with all food services these days), they're a little understaffed, but we didn't have to wait much longer than we would have anywhere else.

Definitely recommend and will be back soon!

Hands down the best Italian food I’ve ever had. Was in the area and stopped. I had a steak and cheese sub and my husband had a Stromboli. It was delicious. Would love if this restaurant near my house! Will return if in the area again

Nice friendly atmosphere the owner is super nice. Really good food. Excellent service. The best times to go is at lunch because it's not crowded and I was the only patron in there eating but the owner says they are super busy dinner hours and on weekends. If you like hit subs and sandwiches and Italian dishes, Solo is the place to go in Pembroke, Virginia.

The food was really good. It's a nice family restaurant to take the kids. Good portion of food for the money. Waitresses was really friendly and attentive to us. I have no complaints at all, it has opened up under new management and is great, give this place a chance. They have lots of outdoor seating also!

August 2020, we had the Pizza twice and it was good. The menus are hard to read is why we’re stuck on Pizza. Our first pizza wasn’t hot, need a runner once food is ready instead of waiting on a waitress. I like to see a restaurant succeed and deliver good quality food. Pembroke and Pearisburg VA is a wonderful area. I feel they need one person to take phone orders, develop a system especially on weekends that makes food and customers flow better. Overall, it was good and I hope it gets better.

Went to eat dinner around 6:30 on a Saturday night. Was a little worried being that we were the only customers, but the food spoke for itself. The Greek salad was amazing and both pasta dishes we ordered were great (penne and Alfredo). Great food quality for the price. The music was great too, every song was on one of my go to playlists!

New management has really stepped up their game. Super friendly and the food was great. Sad we are moving away from the area as their spicy chicken and shrimp penne isn't served at other places.

Ate there for my brothers birthday party earlier this month. Food was delish and staff was friendly. Definitely would go back again and again.

Tonight the young men were short help. They still got the food out in a timely manner. I ordered the burger for the first time and it was awesome! Already knew that the pizza and calzones are good!

Had lunch today with my wife. Place was very clean, employees were wearing masks and sanitizing was practiced. I had the “BEST “ calzone I have ever eaten!!! PERFECTION at it’s best!
The waitress was slammed with one or two large groups on the porch and several booths/tables inside..
I highly recommend SOLO Restaurant in Pembroke, VA!!!

The fried green tomatoes and Calzone was delicious! Service was great even with an order mix up but was promptly taken care of by the owner. Will definitely be going back.

Very tasty food. The breads are perfectly baked, pizza is beautifully topped with fresh vegetables. Waitress is very sweet. A very satisfying lunch after a tiring hike at Cascade Falls.

Have eaten here several times, food is great waitresses are friendly, I will continue to support them,

Great service and delicious food. Their stromboli is one of the best I've ever had and don't get me started on the Egyptian bread-AMAZING!!

So I went the Mediterranean route and it was delicious. The absolute best food and fantastic waitress.
