Purrista Cat Cafe

Everything about this place is beautiful and magical. The coffee is great! I've had a hot mocha, and a orange latte! Delicious!! My wife and I love driving to erie from central PA for short visits to lake..we've stopped now twice to the cat cafe...it's everything I love cats and coffee. The cat area is so beautiful and there is so much for the cats to do! You can tell they are well loved and taken care of. I always find one I wish I could bring home (I sadly already have 3). We will always make a visit when in the area!

This place was so adorable! Their coffee and pastries were delicious, staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the overall atmosphere of the place is cozy. I love love LOVE that you can drink your coffee and spend some time with the cats in the next room and get to know them. I will definitely be returning. It’s a place I will never forget :)

Had a pleasant visit at this cat cafe.
There are plenty of street parking spots when I visited. The cat cafe is divided into a cafe where you order drinks/bakery and sit, and the cat lounge, which you can do a walk-in appointment or reserve a spot before hand on their website. (cat lounge opens at 11am) This space was beautiful in both area, with plenty of plant and cute spot to take a photo. The staff was very nice and polite. The drinks I got was matcha latte and the chocolate beignet, both were very delicious.
They offer student discount for both food/drinks and cat lounge, with a present student ID

The space was very clean, and I was impressed by how much work they put in to make sure the cats are well-taken care of as well as keeping the area sanitized and clean.
You can adopt the cat directly from the cat cafe since they work closely with the local animal shelter.

They offer variety of activities such as Yoga or Painting here. Event schedule can be found on their social media (Facebook, instagram)

I absolutely LOVED Purrista! My best friend and I went when they first opened and absolutely loved the atmosphere and the kitties of course! I have been back several times myself just stopping in to get a coffee or a delicious bakery item. They also have the coolest merchandise that I love! The employees have always been super nice and welcoming. They have so many awesome events there too like yoga with cats and sound therapy with cats. I’m so glad we have something like this in Erie! Not to mention how many cats they’ve helped get adopted! They’re doing great things!

What a great idea... coffee and cats! Cat lounge was large and there were several cats to adore and play with that are also available for adoption. Large sitting area is also available in the coffee shop to hang out. Great selection of coffee, drinks and other food items. This was a lot of fun.

I love this place. It feels like such a home for people with my vibe, I'm always comfortable here, the baristas are cool, and I love that the food comes from local small businesses too. I haven't even been in the cat room before and I still love it 😅

Amazing place. Staff is super friendly and their signature honey bee latte is delicious. The kitties are beautiful and extremely well cared for. I loved it!

Went for a mother's day tea and the cat lounge was a great environment for both us and the cats! You have to let them come to you, but they're so affectionate once they're used to you.

Love this place — great study space! Such a clean, welcoming environment to visit some kitties! The staff are very friendly and the cats are well cared for. I would love to attend some of their events in the future!

This was my first time here but not my last! What a unique cafe and a perfect addition to downtown. I love the concept of coffee and kitties. The coffee was amazing and the croissant was delicious!

Super cute cat cafe. Unique experience if you are in the erie area. Make sure to reserve a time though because you may not be able to go to the cat area. Coffee decently priced.

The coffee was great and the atmosphere was very calm and relaxing. There is a cat window if you want to sit and watch the cats but you can also go in and spend time with them. The cats are adoptable if you find one that you enjoy and they pair with a shelter so your giving a cat a wonderful home while enjoying amazing coffee. 10/10 worth the trip and would go again.

I love this place!! It was clean and a calm area for the cats. The cats were very friendly and loved people. The coffee was amazing and the cupcakes were super good!!! Bruce Wayne had to my favorite cat! Staff was super friendly too!!

Awesome experience at Purrista Cat Cafe! Coffee and pastries were really good, the kids enjoyed cat cupcakes. Super cute cat merch, wanted it all. The cat part was amazing, got to visit with so many sweet kitties. Will definitely be going back!

A very beautiful, clean, relaxing place to have a specialty coffee and pastry AND to visit with some wonderful kitties. It is a coffee house with adoptable kitties that are looking for a forever home.

Adored my time at Purrista! Barista and cat room volunteer were so kind. The cafe decor is phenomenal and sets a fun, calming atmosphere.

They don't charge extra for non-dairy milks! There is also a student discount for the cat room if you bring your student ID.

A fantastic cafe that clearly cares greatly for the cats that are available for adoption. Sadly I was only visiting from the UK so couldn’t adopt one of the gorgeous cats.

I really enjoyed my experience visiting Purrista. My latte was delicious, the atmosphere was relaxed and the cats were well cared for. I like that they support local businesses and help adoptable cats find good homes. I will be back!
