Shula's Steak House, Richmond, VA

I ate here for breakfast on a whim due to arriving extremely early for an Expose' being held at the Hilton Short Pump. The staff provided an optimal level of customer service and they were prompt and pleasant. They took care of my every need (asked questions about things that they thought I might need), they checked on me during my meal, and were even prompt with bringing the check (no pressure to pay and leave of course). I regret that I could not leave a larger tip, but I did leave a personal hand written review and message of thanks on one of my receipts. The food service personnel are truly the stars of this establishment! #GoTeam!!!

Went here for and early anniversary trip.. This Steak will melt in your mouth!! Omg so good! Also the BEST CRABCAKE I've had yet! Their drinks are strong lol. Waitress was lovely! Also had the salmon which was cooked perfectly. I didn't know I liked capers until I ate this meal. The sides weren't that great and not worth a mention but they were big portioned

Service was 5 star +! The steak was to die for. We go out frequently and my husband is a steak lover he is never satisfied. This was the first time he was satisfied! I also had steak was amazing! Everything we ordered was perfection! Hats off to the chef! Bartender was 5 star as well! Was told they been at this location for 13 years! Don't know how I missed them. They are located inside the Hilton Hotel! Very beautiful setting and romantic. Will definitely revisit!!

Drinks were VERY strong. Some like that...I don't. I want to enjoy my drink. Food was really good. Get the French onion soup! And the corn bread mmmmm

Amazing experience, the atmosphere and food were perfect. They even gave us a rose for valentines day. The only bad part was overhearing a guy ask for A1 sauce for his steak. The steak was so perfect, you don’t need sauce for it. Will definitely be back!

I wind up staying at this Hilton location usually once a month. Due to the close proximity (ha) and convenience, I eat at Shula's a couple of time's over the course of the stay. I have experienced slow service in the past but the staff is generally very receptive and apologetic about it. I tend to eat in the bar area these days and haven't had any issues. The staff is friendly and they even recognize you after a while which I think is pretty cool (and welcoming).

The steaks are generally prepared very well but if you're not QUITE that hungry I recommend the steak tips instead. They are just as good and cost far less. Also the Key Lime Pie for anyone with a sweet tooth. If you saved a LOT of room for dessert then get the Apple Cobbler. Note that you need to order it at least 30 minutes in advance and it's big enough for 2/3 people to share.

Came for Wife's birthday and celebrated a 5 yr anniversary a little early. Had the prime rib and she got the Filet Mignon trio, food was phenomenal and presentation was top notch. Service was outstanding as well, seated immediately, drinks never got low, and very personable. Well worth the price for sure

We spent 2 nights at this Hilton and had a great stay. I have to say, our favorite part of the trip was made exceptional by the bar service at Shula's. Andy was our bartender and not only was he attentive and fun, he made our visits to the bar one to remember! He gave us excellent service as well as tips on where to dine, wine, and have a great time! He's one of the best in the biz!

I stayed at this hotel decided to have breakfast downstairs. It was very elegantly neat. My service was wonderful. I had avocado toast scrambled eggs with cheese it was absolutely divine.. it is nicely located Aura Hilton

Always great. I visit quite often. Staffing is attentive and friendly. Food is excellent. Steak tips are one of my favorite things with white wine or red in winter. Best grilled asparagus ever

We absolutely love this place! Actually we have never been inside the restaurant because we always stop by the bar first and end up eating there. The bartenders are quick and friendly. We can watch the game on one of their TV's and "people watch" people staying at the Hilton. Oh and let's not forget about the food. Crab mac-n-cheese is a must! The Shellfish Trio is also one of my favorites. And of course the steaks are amazing! We just bought a Groupon for $200 worth of food for $120, so maybe we'll make it inside the actual restaurant this time.

Meal and service were great. Had the mixed greens salad, chicken with mashed potatoes and spinach, and cheesecake. Everything was prepared well and chicken wasn't overcooked.

We ordered a hamburger meal with Cesar salad and a filet salad. Both of our meals were prepared as we ordered and very good.

My wife and I enjoyed Shula's on date night and the food along with the service was great and the pork belly appetizer was knockout.

Food was good, cooked to our order. Server was very nice and took extra time with us.

The food and service was excellent! We had the steak, crab and mac n cheese thats so creamy.
