Tango PET DEPOT

We’ve been bringing our pets to Tango for years, and to Dr. Castro for even many more years. Everyone is very helpful and professional. It’s easy to see that they all love pets. I also feel confident in the care my pets receive and the knowledge of Dr. Castro and his excellent support staff.

It's been easy to schedule appointments, and service has been warm and friendly. I feel like Snickers is loved at Tango. They spend time to explain everything and discuss his health. Wait times have been reasonable. I don't have a lot of experience, but it seems prices are reasonable.

Dr. Castro is the best - he tries to give care thats needed, not to plump the bill up. He a good Dr. too, btw. Staff is very nice.

I highly recommend Tango Pet Depot for dog grooming. They did a wonderful job with our 8 month old goldendoodle puppy, who is very nervous while being groomed. Their groomer, Will, was very patient with him and did an outstanding job! The staff member at the front desk was also very kind and helpful. I highly recommend Tango for grooming services!

Tango is a great veterinarian hospital! After every visit they’ve contacted me to see how Ace is doing and pricing is affordable. The fact that they care about him and educate me on how to care for him is everything to me!! Highly recommend them!!

I Love how my dog is treated every time I take him there. The staff is also very nice. They take care of my doggie with love and they provide wonderful high quality services; Therefore, I always return to them make that my dog is safe.

This family owned pet store has everything your pet needs from food to vet care. The owners are pet lovers who love what they do, and it shows from the way they interact with their customers.

They even help to adopt cats by providing space in their store for a small pet adoption agency to display homeless cats.

Called with an emergency with my puppy and they gave me an appointment the same day to bring her. The ladies that work there are super nice and kind. The doctor was very communicative and did not ask me to do a bunch of unnecessary test to treat my puppy. I definitely recommend them.

Wonderful staff and doctor Would use no other 6 month old Red Miniature Poodle puppy. They did neutering and all health care for him

I have now brought all of my animals to Tango animal hospital to have their teeth cleaned and Dr. Castro does an amazing job! For my two Poms, one has had brown stains on her teeth (even after the last two cleaning by two different vets). I asked why and was told some dogs just have tartar stains that don't come off, but their teeth are clean/healthy. Dr. Castro got rid of 100% of the brown stains in one cleaning! Last week, I brought my other Pom in who had terrible breath for years, again through two teeth cleanings. I couldn't believe when I picked him up and his breath had no odor at all. One week later, and it still smells great! The prices are very reasonable, and everyone is very nice and helpful. I'm so happy with Tango and won't go anywhere else for my pets' dentals!

Everything was great everything about my pet was explained to me in very detailed from the medical information to the financial information everything was very clear since before they even started. Loved it

Cocoa had a little cut on her right back paw somehow. Dr. Castro and his staff took care of her well. She wore a cone and had spray medication for a week. She is good now!

Cocoa has respiratory infection. They always try to squeeze their schedule available for a sick dog who needs to be checked emergency/non-emergency asap.

Pet Depot to have his vaccines updated. He was so jolly running on the mud at the backyard like nothing happened and calling his fur friends in the neighborhood. 😂 Our family highly recommend Tango Pet Depot. Thank you!

I normally don’t leave reviews but I do thins one because I think it’s worth reading for someone who might have same concerns that I have. Found this place by accident- driving by it.

So I made an appointment and took my dog for dental cleaning to Tango in hopes the bad breath would go away after dental cleaning. They said it will go away while I was really not sure if that could every be possible. And it did. My dog is sweeter than ever now.

The staff is knowledgeable and very friendly. The most important part was that the doctor himself was so welcoming and patient to explain every little detail before and after the procedure. They followed up the day after to make sure everything is fine.

I have a bit of drive to go there but I’ll definitely go back- it’s worth the drive. I’m very happy with the service.

I found Tango through Groupon for a dental cleaning but wasn't able to use it because I live outside of the allowed 20 miles. Kim was great though and she spoke with Dr. Castro and they offered me a discount, which ended up being a very reasonable price. I took in one of my cats and one of my dogs. My dog is a Pom and, while her teeth are generally very healthy, the back ones were stained a dark brown. The staining didn't go away when they were cleaned before and I was told that sometimes the stains don't go away but since her teeth are healthy, there was nothing to worry about. It always bothered me though and I am thrilled that I decided to give Tango a try. Dr. Castro did a fantastic job - my Pom's teeth are all white again! We will definitely be going back. I highly recommend them!

I recently went through an incredible hard time, having to let my dog go and rest in peace.
Doctor Juan and all staff from front desk to inside medical assistance at Tango Pet Depot, were clear, humane, compassionate and went above and beyond to make my Pinky go in true peace and to make me feel cared for and not alone.
This is what really matters. Good quality of medical knowledge and care, but most importantly being so attentive, fair and caring.

Tango is fantastic! Dr. Castro and his team are caring, kind and smart! It is also terrific that you can wait in the office as opposed to your car which unfortunately is the norm these days. Just a wonderful place! Oh did I mention that, for a Vet in Northern VA the prices are very reasonable!
