This is the only place in the DMV area that sells hot, delicious ALOO PARATHAS Punjabi style with lemon pickle (tangy), white butter, and yogurt! Do try it! I am seriously addicted to them!

My friends and I came here just for the sweets and boy was it a good decision! Hit the spot 🤤

Goat biryani is great (sometimes it's bony, meh), fish curry is also great. Everything else is good so you'll need to find your preferred dishes. Enjoy!

I have gone to this place 35 plus years since I was a teenager and my Dad took us here. In the past when I worked in Fairfax, coworkers and I would eat there. I miss the dosa but enjoy other things.

Their samosas are delicious! I brought some to a church Christmas Around the World party and got many compliments! And a few people enjoyed the burfee!

Dosa batter is good. I do wish the tables would be fixed, a little torn up.

Also I wish they had designated tongs for each type of sweet, cross contamination can occur in the current method. Would be better to have cheap tongs that people pick up and use, ie individual use ones then wash and reuse. ( as some places did in the pandemic).

You will not be disappointed! Great place!

Some days especially during lazy winter times and post busy office week, there are usual cravings for desi food - Paranthey and bhaturey - which seem impossible to be fulfilled by burgers waffles and pancakes. I finally found first Indian place which satisfied my longed for weekend breakky desires.. Quite similar to our fav Sukhdev from murthal dhabas.. It’s Bombay Cafe✨✨ Not to forget fresh samosas is a speciality here and you get it half the price being a samosa club member ❤

*I have not been in that area for past year or more...check other more recent reviews and pricing. I will still go back based on prior great experiences.

Delicious curries, keema, baingan and biryani, mango lassi. They are open every day 11:30am-11pm (**this appears to have changed to 10pm...and my first visit, they were open until 1am, so you should call first if you'll be late to confirm their hours). They have about 6 vegetarian choices and 4 non-vegetarian. And a great platter deal where you choose 2 or 3 entrees with rice and dessert. Been there twice and will definitely keep going back!! Both times appeared to be popular spot, but line moved fast. **I've been 2 more times now, and equally delicious and good variety of entrees...super friendly. They are on an alternate route between me in NC and my mom in PA, and I occasionally choose to go.the longer way just so I can stop there.

Not exactly the best indian food, but i still give 5 stars because they have the best gulab jamuns in the dmv area and they give big portions when you get the platter (well, at least the rice and naan are big)

They have an amazing variety of tasty yummy Indian food! Gulab jamun, rasgulla, kheer, Bengali sweets, Biryani, chat items, main course items and what not! Do not miss to enjoy their hot and spicy samosas.

You got to take this place on its terms. This ain’t no fancy white table cloth place but the food is A1 for the price, quantity, and service (though the tables do need to be bussed more often). Parking is good. Selections are varied and any vegetarian or non-vegetarian have good options. Most counter staff are college students and not career restaurant workers, nevertheless they bend backwards to please everyone. Having reasonable expectations I certainly feel they give you your money’s worth. They used to have a pot of hot lentil soup, as much as you want, mighty tasty, I hope they bring it back. Not cheap, but good inexpensive option for the taste buds and a happy tummy!

Good menu, and all items are rather on point in terms of taste. Platter is fairly budget friendly. Love the paranthas and chaats in particular. Samosa quality, and their interest in maintaining the standard has slipped a good few notches since the ownership changes, and the pricing, specifically for samosas is a bit strange.

Great place for Indian takeout -- whether you are looking for meal for family or bulk order for parties!

Love their food and customer service but BEWARE… the Order Online feature is sponsored by Square and the prices are marked up a lot. I wish the restaurant would deploy an online merchant software that deals directly with customers so we can avoid the markup.

The only choice now is to call the restaurant and tie up their employees OR order at the restaurant and deal with the wait times.

They amazing and cost effective Indian Chaats. They are so yum!

I reviewed this place years back when the AC wasn't working and it was not pleasant eating hot food on a hot day on a hot restaurant. Bombay foods has cleaned up and kept the customer in mind. It's nice inside and I'm looking to enjoy the hot food on a hot day inside a cooled dining. The food has always been on point. There's definitely good blessings in the food.

The foods are awsome. Tasted a few and all of them were on par.

This place is a delight!! If you happen to be here, having the 'samosa' is a must. They have the best of it in the area.

All the food items are delicious and this is my go-to place for any party orders. The portions are good as well.

This place also has limited seating capacity. Th decor is nice, but for some reason I do not find it to be as good as a proper restaurant. But we do hang out there sometimes and the platter is great. We order two platters and the quantity is sufficient for our family of three.
