University Mall

University Mall is a safe, serene shopping center. There is ample parking. Their is a variety of stores and eateries. Their is a gas station and conveniently located across from GMU. The patrons are orderly and friendly. Their is also Giants.

Wonderful theatre for family… I had my daughter’s Birthday there and I loved the way manager and staff guided us through the process of what works for a group of kids… of course their group package is perfect for groups less than 10 or even more. It’s very clean and calm theatre with caring staffs! Thank you all to make our Birthday a blast!!!

Lots to do and plenty of fast goodies. Hibachi Grill is place to go.

Amazing shopping center. You have the amazing and iconic university mall theater." The prices went up after covid, but it's still worth it, and the popcorn is the best around. There are great places to eat as well, and the comic book store is one of my favorites. I got my favorites plush from there. Absolutely amazing shopping center, so I'm so glad to have it in the area and fit perfectly for all the gmu students.

Nice variety of shops makes it a good place to stop and get errands done. Movie theater there has great popcorn.

Taco Bamba is so good the rest of this place could burn down and I would still give it a 5. Parking kinda sucks though.

Great range of shops, restaurants, and activities, including movies, coffee shops, Thai food, and tae kwon do. A one stop shop for fun and essentials.

The Sunoco is located just across the street from George Mason University. Lots of shops movie theater places to eat, fast food McDonald's and Wendy's are both in this parking lot as well. As well as Fat Tuesdays! Located on the back side of the mall, great music on the weekends!

Has some good places. Giant foods is nice after renovation a few years ago. Oh George is a nice bar/grill with excellent craft beer selection. Food is good too. Recommend pizza and bufallo cauliflower. Saturday night Rocky Horror Picture Show at University Mall Cinema.

We ate at Samurai Japanese Steak and Sushi Bar. We have eaten at 3 others in the NoVa are. None are as good! The atmosphere is modern and tasteful, not overwhelming. Deceptively large and open. 1/2 is restaurant style ther traditional Japanese style with a Sushi bar. Employees wear a black T shirt with their name lighted with small dots. Never seen this before. They are friendly, knowledgeable, personable, helpful but not overwhelming. But the food is the real deal. We ate in the Hibachi room. Menu is extensive. I had filet with Tokyo shrimp which is an unusually prepared item. Thshrimp are made similarly to a souffle. Unique and very good. My wife had Terriaki Hibachi chicken. Portions are large, grilled in front of you and with flair. Expect to take a doggie bag home. We tried the Green Tea Cheesecake with Green Tea ice cream. It's served with homemade whipped cream. It's fantastic and not expensive. All menu prices are surprisingly affordable. Ample parking, limited handicapped parking and all spaces are difficult to find near the restaurant. I suggest reservations for the weekends strict adherence to the current CDC rules.

Great area with wonderful shops. Lots of youth hang around the area, popular hang out spot is the Cave. Little theatre that plays cheap and great movies, although old. Small dentistry and a couple good watering holes for the older crowd.

Ever since the renovation, it is much cleaner looking and they have been able to pull in more businesses. The Giant there used to be so confusing and we would never shop there even though it was the closest store to us. Now, we do all of our weekly grocery shopping there plus enjoy the other amenities such as the eateries and movies. If only we could have a drugstore and frozen yogurt place...

We love catching those limited release and independent movies here. Oscar contenders usually have a short release at the big theaters. The crowd is always older and so one doesn't have to deal with rowdy teenagers. Tuesdays can be crowded during the day because its Senior day.

Great small mall with a nice variety of shops. Recently remodeled to offer better everything. Water feature is entertaining to youngsters. The movie theater also has deals for cheap tickets to kids movies, which is popular.

We like the movie theater at University mall mainly because of the super super low price. It's an older facility and the film's are not first-run, but we still manage to have a great time. There is plenty of parking and it's very easy getting in and out except maybe during rush hour, the intersection at Braddock Road gets fairly congested.

Not the newest theater but well maintained. Price on tickets and snacks make this an attractive place to watch movies. Only five minutes of trailers! :)
