Walker's Diner

Perfection! Walker's is that small-town diner where the waitress knows everyone's name... I stopped in for breakfast in December 2023, sat at one of the dozen or so stools and soaked in the joyous ambiance. The food was exactly as you'd hope, generous and delish, with impeccable service. A+

Such a cute little diner with wonderful history. The staff was very personable as you had to sit at the counter since it is so small that it has no individual tables. We were on our annual visit and our friends were raving about their breakfast. They did not disappoint! I made the face in the picture, but know that they give huge, flat, delicious pancakes, perfectly over medium eggs, and very nicely crisp bacon! Other items that we had that did not disappoint: chicken biscuit sliders, bacon omelet, and blueberry pancakes. The only complaint we had was more of a joke with the way we hold our knives, the pointed corner of the handle was digging into our palm. The food, the ambiance, the staff, and the experience were all great and I can't wait to go back!

We love Walker's! Such a fun, different atmosphere! The blueberry pancakes are my favorite, of course with a side of crispy bacon! Best breakfast spot in town!

Visiting from NW Ohio, we had the great pleasure of dining at Walker's over Labor Day weekend. It was like coming home and being pampered by family. I have never eaten a better pancake anywhere! The staff is phenomenal, friendly, efficient, and so welcoming. We are planning a trip back in late October where you can find us sitting at the counter enormously enjoying both the food and the company.

We stopped by for breakfast while coming through the area. The food was delicious and great spirited staff. We got the Walker 5 and egg & cheese sandwich with turkey sausage with a sweet tea. I highly recommend!

As a salesman with a multi-state territory, I get the opportunity to sample many restaurants. Occasionally, I stumble upon a gem. Walkers is definitely a gem. The staff is friendly, warm, and welcoming. The food was excellent. The pancakes are the best I have had since my grandmother passed. If you find yourself in Farmville, give yourself a treat and visit Walkers.

Love it! Don't be put off by the line at the door or being asked to close the door. Everyone will get in sooner than you know and it is worth it.

Order, pay, grab a seat, eat up and move along.

This is your perfect breakfast location whenever in Farmville! We sat outside, had brought my dog with me and they gave him so much love... A nice cool bowl of water, blanket to sit on outside, a dog treat that they make there, and a very fine breakfast for myself. Thanks guys see you again soon!

So much fun! Great diner & easy to park to get to it. Also can't miss from the road. We sat inside at the counter, but they have outdoor seating too. Good coffee, fast service, & great people. Bacon on a flat top always makes me happy! Good price points and large menu, but I feel like they could make anything you wanted. Would highly recommend!

We frequently enjoy breakfast at this local gem. Never disappointed. Diner size on inside, equates to small, however more seats outside. Very pet friendly, they will provide your furry friend with fresh water and a blanket to rest while you enjoy your breakfast or lunch.

Tiny inside, old time diner. Very nostalgic for me. Only had stool seating inside. There are outdoor tables when weather is nice. May not be for everyone. Can always order to go.

As long as Walker's Diner never changes, the terrorists cannot win. This place is PERFECT. Just get the weekly special. No need to overthink it.

They serve really great food! One of my all time classic favorites is the Turkey, Bacon Club sandwiches.. Yum

When we cycle on the High Bridge Trail we always get lunch at Walker’s. Their burger and fries are excellent. That being said, their Reuben is the best I’ve ever had. It really is amazing….. 😁 Their staff is friendly and jovial. We usually eat outside and it’s a great place to relax. I just wish they were open later.

We enjoy eating here as it reminds us of the old 1950s diners we knew as kids. Lovely waitress, amazing burgers and fries.

Wanted a quick bite to eat that wasn’t expensive so we popped in. Wow, the owners are so friendly! I had the grilled rueben and the hubby had the Patty Melt and they were both very good, plus the fries are perfect. The nice part is that the other diners will actually speak to you so it was a great lunch with good conversation. Also seems like the locals prefer it. Just go!

I have ordered meals to go frequently. The food is always delicious and freshly prepared. One of my favorites is the Tuna Platter which I order with pickled beets and either colealaw or their delicious cucumber salad. Highly recommend!

Visiting family from Florida, stopped by this tiny diner, and we left 1000% happy we chose it. Great service, awesome food. The pancakes were literally the best I’ve ever had, and I’ve lived all over the world. Compliments to the cook!

They brought a blanket and water bowl for the pup in our group and a freshly made homemade dog treat. They were prompt amd friendly.

Friendliest people and delicious food. Are you a student who slept in too late and is craving breakfast? No problem, they serve it all opening hours. Their burgers are delicious too! Perfect place to enjoy a good meal and converse with locals, visitors and students alike.
