Great selection. First time buying a drum kit. My son has been using electric drums since he was 5. Jon was super helpful and answered all my questions and explained thoroughly. Thank you!

Dustin took his time to get me the best price for the guitar I wanted to sell. He got me a good fair price where as someone else had given me too low a price.

I recommend you deal with him when you can.

Had to find a digital recorder and xlr cable last minute for a project. Guitar center is apparently the only major retailer that still carries these basic audio essentials in their retail stores.

As retail shopping is pushed more and more online, I hope guitar center takes this as a good reminder that keeping a store fully stocked is an excellent way to get new and returning customers!

Guitar Center is an experience that is unlike any other music store visit...the staff is very knowledgeable and extremely helpful and friendly..but what i do like about guitar center is if you looking for musical instruments...and ask for help not only do they help you...they encourage you to try the equipment...and do offer other ideas along the way...also very patient with you...and heck...you can sit and play the equipment as long as you want without the feeling of being rushed or pushed into a sale...
So..do I like my visit...YES....

Ryan in guitars is fantastic! Really knows his stuff and will take his time in helping you pick the right instrument. Rob, the store manager, is a true professional and was very helpful in helping me get a problem I had with a strat resolved. Also have to add that the Fairfax store has the best selection of high-end gear in the area!!

Was ordering guitar from a different state, Julien managed to answer all of my questions about the guitar and send me the photos. The process went smooth and I am happy with my purchase.

This must be a good GC. My husband told me he was running in for a quick second and 40 minutes later I’m still sitting in the car. I guarantee he comes out with half the store.

Love this store! Here you can found a big choice for your needs and even take a lesson how to play the guitar!

You can see all music instruments, also you can test some of them as your choices favorite, also there are advisors and consultants, musical lessons are available too. I recommend you to go and visit there with your kids, make them familiar with music and encourage them to play and enjoy charming music.

Always have what I need or want in stock. I still can’t carry a tune though.

I have been frequent visitor to Guitar Center store in Fairfax for many years.
Most of the time I had great experience even at the most challenging days and events like Thanksgiving and Christmas weekends (you know what I mean).
I was always taken care of and be able to get great price. This is really great store and great team in my experience.
This cannot be just luck because it is supported by my long and happy visiting history to this store.

For some time my experience at Guitar Center in Fairfax was and still is especially successful because of the OUTSTANDING service provided to me by James C. He is always very helpful and always willing and getting me the best deal possible.
He also shows excellent multitasking skills and pays attention to surroundings all the time. He is just Mr. awesome.
It looks like I will be still coming back. 2 THUMBS UP!!

All the people there were very attentive and kind. They let us try out multiple pa speakers and even let us plug in a guitar to see how it would sound. A very pleasant experience and definitely recommend talking with Dustin about your gear needs!

They always have the stuff I need in stock and customer service is also great.

Guy did a great job repairing my 62 Gibson. Very experienced in electronics. Replaced one pot and resoldered the input jack grounds and several other points. Very reasonable price. Highly recommend Guy for all your repair needs. Juggled multiple clients at one time.

So, what a great experience James, in Pro Audio, gave me today. I did my first time online order and that experience wss horrible. I know COVID has change things but geez...getting a pair of studio monitors was a hassle and over a month wait. One monitor was shipped to the wrong address by no fault of my own. Then after speaking with 4 people a replacement was said to be sent out but wasn't. Then, my other JBL monitor was on backorder still after already waiting a month. And I found that out later not during my purchase.

I considered not purchasing from Guitar Center again due to this madness. And GC is my favorite store!

But James, in Pro Audio, took care of me by recommending me the Kali Audio LP 6 monitors rather than waiting for my JBL's (bet there and they were in stock).

Once I arrived at the store (he knew I was coming) he was pretty busy. I waited nearly 30 mins but he kept me in the loop as well as the other staff. So thank you James, in Pro Audio. You kept a long time customer. Fairfax, VA.
