The Fresh Market

Went to The Fresh Market today in Midlothian location, and I bought two New York strip steaks. The man at the meat section, I wish I got his name, He was super helpful! Because of him I bought even more stuff than I came for lol. I made my steaks this evening, and it was the best steaks I ever made in my life! that meat is top tier quality. Thank you fresh market.

Are you tired of the big box grocery? Fresh Market feels like a farm market. Beautifully arranged, display areas are warm + inviting. Fresh produce, seasonal items, locally sourced, meats, everything you want just on a smaller scale. Oh, did I mention the employees? These folks make this place a winner! Recently, we visited the store looking for some small beauty/health item, and the employee took us to the exact location.

I absolutely love this store! I travel all the way from Charlottesville to come here! Excellent customer service, extremely sanitary, and amazing products! You should definitely try their Orange Juice! It’s the best, fresh, and tastes like it’s freshly squeezed!

Great surprise find in Richmond. I wanted to do my own meal prep for the week while visiting for business. Super helpful staff, great coffee and selection. Also the quality is really good. Yes, everything is costing more, but here I feel you are getting your money's worth in service, quality and value. The whole place has a tranquil calm feeling to it too, you could go here to decompress.

I popped in quickly just to grab an individual fruit tart from the bakery. While there, I received what was undoubtedly one of the warmest welcomes and friendliest interactions (even though she tempted me with the larger fruit tart haha)! Unfortunately, I did not get the lady's name, but she had short, black hair and the warmest demeanor. I almost wanted to browse the bakery section longer just so I could chat with her for a few more minutes. Of course, the fruit tart was fresh and delicious, but her warmth and kindness is what stuck with me. I hope she's having a wonderful week, and I'll be looking for her at my next visit.

My absolute favorite grocery experience. Larger stores may have more choices but I visit for the wonderful aromas of freshly ground coffee and cinnamon. Fantastic meat and seafood counter, yummy baked goods, prepared meals, wine/beer, and all the bulk snacks and fancy chocolate you could ever want. So glad this store is still standing.

The crab cakes are amazing! Full of crab meat

I went to get salad from the deli. Found a lovely cranberry, walnut, feta cheese on spinach. Then I found Christmas gifts! Teas, coffee, chocolate, German cookies and pastries and flowers! What a find!

Outstanding meat, seafood, and produce selections.

Amazing staff. They sell the best cookies in the world (almond pillows. Please try them). Very pricey on some stuff, but reasonable on others. Their deals change constantly, so you just have to check.

I'd like to leave a review for this store and the staff. I visit daily and have always had excellent service in every department. Sure they are busy sometimes, but I go every day for a reason. Love the food, love the meats, produce...and the staff take the time to remember my name; they are always helpful and friendly and I can typically get in and out very quickly, despite the time of day. I highly recommend this location.

Fantastic place. Excellent meat section. Crab cakes are the best in the region. Wish they had not closed the one in Charlottesville, but it is worth the drive to Richmond. Managers and staff are a+ and always helpful.

If you need some encouragment, or some Fall. inspiration this is the place you need to go!

I called ahead because I was a little confused about the roasted chicken special. Couldn't have been nicer. The deli nicely set one aside but I was running late and the gentleman working said " if you have a minute or two I am about to take some out." Fresh, hot chicken for my nonvegetarian husband! Super customer service.

Been, going to this store for a few years , at least 2x a week. Very, good quality meats. Great chicken. Normally , I would give the store a 4 71st a t. But lately, I guess because either they have been bought out already or are in the process, thru have been slipping, went there yesterday, late afternoon, hardly no bread, i, inquired and someone said i, guess they weren't focusing Bob the bread. The other day, I went for some i ranges and a couple were mot good.
I, hope they get their act together.because usually this is a great place.

I met the best employee ever. His name was Rob. He helped me find the snack aisle. He gave me some good recommendations for meats. I have never felt more at home than my own place

Don't shop here very much, but this trip was great. I was with my granddaughter, and we shopped the bakery and the prepared food. We got some beautiful cupcakes and some delicious chicken salad. We so got some ribs and a pork tenderloin. As it turns out the helpful and pleasant lady in the prepared foods, was a former employee of Ukrop's. Many years ago I worked there also. She learned as as we all did, about serving customers. She is an asset to Fresh Market! We be back more often!

Love this place! It's priced higher but smart budgeting can make this store a weekly shopping destination. Amazing food and even more awesome employees. And be smart, follow their deals!
