Publix Super Market at White Oak Village

Now THIS is what you call a supermarket! They're one of the pricier players in the grocery game, for sure. But local competitors just cannot contend with their level of quality, in everything from cleanliness to customer service.

The staff always seems positive and polite. Very approachable and obliging. The checkout lines typically seem to flow at a decent pace, which is aided by the convenience of the self-checkout kiosks.

It should go without saying that their famous "pub subs" are a must. But I would also highly recommend their sushi, which is made fresh daily and is offered in a nice variety.

It's also currently our favorite place to get our shrimp by the pound, because they will season it the way we like, and the seafood associate helped us determine the quantity needed to fill our bellies.

All I can say is please bring one to Lynchburg, VA... This place is amazing.

Great selection with many vegan items and a pharmacy that can get the job done! I can tell you horror stories about experiences with pharmacies recently, but this pharmacy is fantastic. They are so easy, make sure medicines are filled, communicate, and have bottles that are easy for people with joint issues and pain to open. Great to have found a place that takes the stress out of an already stressful situation (being sick!).

Clean, well stocked, and a well informed staff. They have fresh meats, fresh produce, and a wide variety of other items such as sushi, deli meats and cheeses, and fresh baked bread, cakes, and pies. They also have in store made soups, a freshly made sandwich department as well as hot prepared food daily.

Love the atmosphere. Clean, excellent variety of products & foods. Friendly service. Love the fact you can purchase meals.

Publix at White Oak Village made our wedding cupcakes! We had originally planned to have our wedding catered by a much more expensive local bakery, but eventually decided to just use Publix bakery. What an amazing choice! It was SO affordable, and still really good. We got so many compliments from our guests!

I absolutely love this location but the bakery has fallen off. Cupcakes were dry! Icing was bitter! But after you e already made it to your child’s party, your kinda stuck with it. Otherwise, this store is by far my favorite location and ALWAYS has what I need. Bogo items are always available and the staff is very helpful and friendly!

I love publix! Sometimes when I order deli orders online and ask for thin slices, when I pick up they are very thick slices so I don't order deli products online anymore. But other than that, this place is the best!

I absolutely love this Publix grocery store. As always when it comes to Publix you are going to be spending a lot more money than other Grocers such as food lion. However the quality of their prepared items such as sandwiches parfaits and assorted cut up fruit is beyond compare when it comes to the other grocers. However you will pay for the quality. However if you do have the money I would recommend going here

The store is always well stocked, easy to get down the isles. Great customer service, friendly people who work here.

This Publix is competing with Wegmans when it comes to item availability and cleanliness. The prices are reasonable as well! I do wish they had more or a variety with vegetables like bok choi.

Staff is always super friendly and helpful. They actually walk you to where a product is when you ask for something you can't find. I also love the cleanliness of this store!

Update: they always have great buy one get one sales and it's always for items most people buy which is very appreciated.

Fresh bakery items are always available & store was clean and staff were nice & welcoming.

Self checkout was a breeze. Some things are out of stock but it gives you an opportunity to try new things. I like this Publix.

Quality all the way, very clean, a little pricey. My wife's first choice. Oh, we get all of our shots at Publix. Pharmacy staff are the best.

Bright, new Publix with a good assortment of Gluten Free items. Has a Starbucks inside. Friendly staff, had no trouble fining things. Large produce area.

Excellent customer service and plenty of different items to choose from. The store was very clean.

The associates and what appear to be managers all seem to be very nice. The store is always stocked and clean. The seafood and fresh food departments always give good customer service. I usually use the self checkout and the associate there is always helpful. I can easily find what I need and leave fairly quickly.
