You have to get a reservation a few days out to get a table here at the time you prefer. Why? The food is amazing. When you say how you want your steak cooked, they cook it perfectly. Each course of the meal was delicious. Every wait staff I have had were polite and attentive. You can visit the bar without a reservation. They have a great wine and bourbon list. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes a great cut of meat with great quality. If you are like me, get your Cesar salad with anchovies.

Sarah was great and the food was also amazing. I was expecting the food to take a while because it was Valentine’s Day, but every course came out in a decent amount of time. 10/10 (If you like a good old fashioned, this is the place to go!)

Dined here on the 12th for my daughter's birthday. The food was excellent and the ambience was great. Although the appearance on the outside in a strip mall is not the best this is a definite hidden gem.Inside is like a steakhouse should be with wood decor and an old world feel. Steaks were done to perfection and everyone had a great time. Our server was excellent and we never felt rushed. We will definitely be back again.

One of the best in Richmond. For a high end steakhouse it is a value. Cheap no but you get your money's worth. Great service and atmosphere. Good selection of bourbon.

Excellent service and delicious food! Nicest wait staff I’ve had probably ever. Manners were on point and service was perfectly paced. We had a big party and they were attentive and patient with us the whole time. I had escargot, salmon, Caesar salad with anchovies (so good!!) and veggies with potato mash. If you’re looking for a classy place with a peaceful ambiance and top notch food, this is the place. Food is pricey but it makes sense once you’re there. Will be back for sure!

Lived up to its legendary status. From first entry to walking out, the experience is great. Bar feels old school and cool, drink menu, wine list and bourbon and whiskey menus are extensive. Then there's the food. Steaks and accoutrements were awesome. The fried oyster app special is perfect. Had a great time.

The food here was amazing! Went for our anniversary and we were greeted with a pleasant “happy anniversary” by the hosts and by our waitress. Our waitress was patient and kind. My husband didn’t like the cocktail he chose and she kindly changed it out (he offered to still pay for it but she took it off the bill anyway). The steak fromage was exceptional (wish I would’ve taken photos) . We received a complimentary dessert as a gift for our anniversary and it was also delicious (lemon curd and marscapone cheesecake with a blueberry ginger sauce). We were underdressed for sure but no one gave us weird looks. Everyone was kind and helpful. Definitely a great place for a date night, worth every penny!

We went as a group of 8 and they were able to accommodate our reservation. Food was excellent. I had the Tomahawk Veal ordered medium rare. Steak was cooked perfectly. They glaze and mushrooms perfectly complimented the meat. They happily accommodated my replacement of a potato with extra vegetables to sit my keto lifestyle. Everyone at the table were pleased with their orders and indicated they'd happily return in the future.

Delish! Service was great! We celebrated my husband's birthday here. Be prepared to spend $100 or better, dependent upon what you order. The atmosphere was excellent for a romantic dinner. I can't say enough about the explosion that happens in your mouth from the savory food. I also enjoyed their toasted coffee.

Buckhead's is our favorite restaurant in Richmond, so naturally we had our rehearsal dinner for 40 people there. Woo, the General Manager, was so incredibly easy to work with. After wedding planning for months, I did not want to really think about the rehearsal dinner, and so she took care of everything for us. She put together a menu to fit our budget and our guests and a fantastic time. Would highly recommend Buckhead's for a rehearsal dinner.

I went out with my parents and Fiancé for my birthday. It was our first time going and it was fantastic. The waiter was so attentive. Very quick to get to us and take our order as well as to Refill drinks and ask us how our meals were. He also was very good on what a waiter is supposed to do. Waiting for everyone to finish to clear plates. Waiting for us to finish dinner before asking about dessert. Serving female first and from the serving from the left and taking from the right. Honestly such a great experience. The food was just amazing as well. Perfectly cooked. Extremely flavorful and beautifully presented. Also I was given a free desert because it’s my birthday. Overall one of my best experiences dining out. Definitely going to come back.

I came here for a Monday night dinner date with the most gorgeous woman in the world (my wife).

The ambiance is very romantic and intimate. The service is impeccable and Shawn was absolutely amazing.

The bar menu is expansive and well stocked with fantastic bourbons.

This was one of the best steak I've ever had in my life. The I had a pour of Reservoir Maison De Cuivre, Filet Au Pouvre with the best parmesean truffle pommes frites, and E had filet au fromage with mascerpone chive mashed potatoes.

We had the chocolate raspberry torte for dessert.

100/10 will definitely return.

This place makes a decent steak and excellent sides, especially the sauteed mushrooms. I mean no disrespect when I say "decent steak." I've simply cooked so many steaks in my lifetime that it is difficult to find a restaurant capable of preparing a steak beyond my expectations. Definitely deserves 5 stars for the meat sourcing, the cap on the ribeye was a very respectable size.

Listen I don’t give 5 stars out a lot but this place! Yes!! Top of the line deserved every star!!!! It was my first time going and the service already was Amazing. When I tell you these waiters, servers and waitresses deserve a gold star on each badge they wear. They deserve them with so much pride. Greg was our waiter and he was awesome! He even recommended the best off the menu to the food, drinks, cocktails and sauces on the steaks. I’m definitely going back! Best steak I’ve ever had in my life. It was seasoned well and that potato cake. Omg. If you haven’t tried this place.. DO IT. It’s worth it.

Incredible food, incredible service! This is definitely the place you want to go to celebrate a special occasion. Try the steak fromage--it is top notch! Steve was an awesome server as well! Ask for him--he will take great care of you!

Excellent food, and great ambiance. Service is a bit slow, but might be just the crew on the night of. On the high end side for prices for steakhouses. Great wine and drinks listing.

Went here for a celebratory meal on 6-12-21 and they did not disappoint. Service was amazing, food was top notch. The meal was well paced by the waiter, which is a dying art, truly - there was just enough time between courses to savor and look forward to the next. It was a little French hunting lodge as far as the decor, but the wine was better (yes I said it). If your father in law is not vegan, he would probably be comfortable here. The food is simple but the chef proves that even simplicity can be elevated to perfection. Every detail is attended to, from the exact, meticulous grill marks to the mirror-bright silverware. Do you know they have a water manager (I have no idea if this is the right term but it seems like it should be)? It is someone’s job just to watch and make sure your water is always cold and topped off. He did an excellent job by the way and honestly I want a water manager at every restaurant. We had steak (of course), the crab cakes, the creme brûlée, a modest bottle of wine (if you’re looking for an extensive and impressive wine menu, THIS IS THE PLACE, no lie)... not a detail was missed and nothing disappointed. Truly a superb experience.

It's awesome. We went for a nightcap so I didn't eat anything. Service was fantastic and my friends deserts were great. I look forward to going back for real dinner. 👌
