Uptown Coffee Cafe

Uptown Coffee has been great every time I've been. I stopped in on Friday for breakfast after an early appointment. I got a Chai latte with a shot of espresso added. It was literally the best Chai I've ever had, and I pretty much have ordered Chai everywhere.

The breakfast croissant was super buttery and soft. And the tiramisu was excellent as well.

This is my go to spot when I am home! Everything is magical, especially the coffee! Highly recommend :) (pictured is the beautiful french toast bagel I received!)

Had the breakfast Panini and Chamomile tea with sweetened strawberry and honey...hostess was warm welcoming and friendly...calm..cool..chill vibe here..soft low key atmosphere and not too crowded on the weekday mornings...great food..people were nice easy going good mix of college kids and adults of different types and sizes...luvs luvs luvs it...would recommend to anyone!! Great job!

Very good coffee. They also have unique flavors like Snickers and English Toffee. The taste of the espresso comes through in their lattes strong without being overwhelming. The ambiance is vibey - chill music, low lighting, classic coffee shop feel. The place wasn’t too crowded, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I asked for recommendations because I was interested in a few of their more unique flavor options, and the barista recommended some delicious options based on my preferences. Would definitely recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!

Really like when they have open mic on Sunday! Cold brew and Turkey TSA is my go-to but no matter what we've tried here, it has been great. Favorite spot to meet up for lunch when family comes down to visit.

We've been here a couple times on trips to enjoy the area's bike trail and neat downtown. The friendly atmosphere and staff are the top reason to rerun. But also the food, coffee, and location are all great. Good WiFi too. I had to kill some time there on a cold day. They were helpful and didn't rush me and cared about us enjoying our visit.

This morning I experienced my first time at Uptown Coffee House & Cafe in Farmville. The staff were very helpful and offered me packets of stevia that I like to sweeten my black coffee that I purchased along with a blueberry scone. Both the coffee and scone were delicious and went well together. As luck would have it, this scone also was soft and made it much easier for me to chew than hard scones. My Farmville real estate associate and I definitely will venture from our nearby office on High Street to visit here regularly. Thanks to owner Charles Thompson and staff for offering Farmville a marvelous high quality coffee house!

Great college town coffee shop. For a coffee shop, they have quite a few sandwich and salad options. And even provide hot options, including french fries which I find rare at coffee shops.

You walk in, order at the counter, and they bring food out and clear your table. They also checked on me a couple of times to see if I needed a refill on my drink.

I ordered the Mahi tacos. Fish was great and tasted fresh. I found the pita type shell too much as I like my fish to taco shell ratio pretty balanced. So I just ate the fish and cut a smaller peice of the breading to go with each bite.

Great coffee shop with friendly staff. The coffee was delicious.

Excellent service. I ordered a Macha iced drink. Wasn't a fan as it was very sweet, but my bagle and another order of an iced coffee really made my day. Their bagles here are very flavorful.

I love going here, the drinks are fairly priced and delicious and theres always such a good vibe with music!

Our first visit was on a Saturday with nice weather. Upon entering the Cafe was pretty busy but we were greeted promptly by Charles who gave us some suggestions. The tomato pepper soup was delicious and the chicken wrap was plenty for the 2 of us to split. Will definitely visit again!

Very friendly staff and very clean. Great products! I had a delicious iced coffee. Staff took time to converse with us and answered any questions we had. Absolutely would go there again!

Visited Uptown this morning and they have upped their bagel game. Bagels fresh from NY! They are awesome, cost a little more but they are bigger and fresher. The latte was perfect. Thank you Shannon for the great service.

Great service and nice atmosphere. Got a fantastic breakfast sandwich. The bread was perfectly toasted, the sandwich was served quickly, and it was hot and fresh. Enjoyed the Pressed brand Blackberry Lemon juice too.

Okay, so I’m giving 5 stars because I feel like the staff here are super nice. I got a latte which was really good, and what I believe was a scone, also good. My breakfast sandwich was not the best, they only offer shredded turkey for their non pork meat option. I’ll just have to order something else. Would definitely go back. Please, get some turkey bacon at least! Again super nice and I like the new decor.

Great coffee! Unfortunately the baristas seem more focused on talking to them selves then acknowledging customers :(
