Hondos

I originally had reserved a room for 15 guests to celebrate my 59th birthday. As storms passed through RIC, my guests dwindled. I called to modify my reservation and spoke to Toni. She told me she would have to move me from a private dining area. To my surprise, when I arrived, not only did she provide a private space, but it was beautifully decorated and very intimate. The food is ALWAYS on point, but the service was commendable. Susie was our waitress and she deserves 5 stars. Thank you Toni and Susie for making this a memorable experience❤

We have been a few times and this is my favorite "high end" steakhouse by far. The service is always excellent, the steaks are perfect and dessrts too. The sides aren't boring like other places. And Sunday Brunch is fabulous. Try this place, worth every penny.

My wife and I went there for lunch on our 19th wedding anniversary and had a unbelievable experience. The staff was so great and our waiter (Justin) was outstanding the food was delicious and to top everything off they made us a very special dessert that was amazing. They really made a special day for us even more special. Thank you to everyone there for all your hard work and giving us a special memory in time.

The food is amazing! They take great pride and put a lot of love into the food that they prepare. The steaks and the ribs are A1+++! The wait staff is super awesome and friendly. I would recommend that everyone go and experience Hondo's!

Honda’s is one of the best dining experiences in Richmond or Short Pump. Great steak & quite a few seafood options with top notch service. The atmosphere is very classy good for a date or a business meeting. Cannot recommend enough very conveniently in Innsbrook so you don’t have to go deep into that short pump traffic.

Went a couple weeks ago for a birthday dinner. I wish I could remember the servers names but they were amazing. It was Jan 12 (that's for the bosses reading this) they were absolutely wonderful and so attentive for our party of 13! Been to Hondo's many times but this was by far my favorite time!! Thank you gentleman!! And I would love to know which red wine you offered me!!

An outstanding restaurant in every respect. The atmosphere is refined and the service is impeccable. I was in a party of 12, and everyone raved about how good the food was. I was impressed by how the servers kept all the orders straight, were very personable, and served everything properly and hot. They also have one of the best Sunday brunch all you can eat buffets in town. Terrific selection of food. Ample parking.

My Mom's 80 birthday today and 20 of my family and friends attended. It was my first time there. We loved it. Our waitress was awesome. She was very organized. They checked on us c and refilled our drink. The young man doing the omelets was very friendly and courteous. The food was delicious. I had a wonderful time. We had a lot of fun. The atmosphere was cozy and light Jazz playing in the background. Overall, i would go again.

A bit over priced but the food quality was well worth the cost. I enjoyed the restaurant and I planned on returning.

This was our first time to Hondos. We were celebrating our last weekend out before having a baby, we didn't have a reservation so we decided to enjoy dinner at the bar. Vanessa took wonderful care of us. The food was amazing and she even made me a delicious mocktail! Her and the other bartender surprised us with pecan pie for dessert. We definitely will be going back for another date night!

The food was a bit of a wait but other than that, it was fantastic. My steak came perfect. My peer’s came perfect and we ate every last bite. The music was at a perfect ambient volume, the bathroom was fantastic and came with complimentary mouthwash and lotion and soap. The atmosphere there was so cozy. I could eat here everyday.

Hondos is an excellent restaurant. First plus is that it is consistently good. The steaks are excellent and the seafood is also outstanding. It is a steakhouse so there are better seafood places but for a great dinning experience this is the place. We call it Ruth Chris without the $$$$.

This was a birthday dinner for my wife and as soon as you walk through the door you can see this is a very nice and cozy place. Muted lighting, soft back ground music and the smells were just awesome. The service was excellent and the food was spectacular. It is a little on the expensive side but it is worth it. I'm a steak lover and this is by far the best I have had since moving to Richmond. If your a penny pincher don't go here but if you are willing to pay for 1st class service and the best steak in Richmond then you need to go here. And the appetizers and deserts are great too.

Don't give me wrong. The steak IS in fact good. Got the cowboy ribeye. However, the lamb chops are holy f* good - I'm Peruvian. I've had a lot of lamb. That's a great dish. Au Gratin potatoes > garlic mash. The spinach on the lamb chops had more garlic than the mash. Flavor bomb

My wife and I have been coming here for the last several years for her birthday and our anniversary which are two days apart. When I worked in the area I often came for lunch. The food is always spectacular and cooked perfectly, and the service is that of the absolute best in Richmond. I would get the prime rib sandwich for lunch, and always get a perfectly cooked medium rare steak Au Poivre everytime I come for dinner. The desserts are delicious, and you can tell care goes into their cooking. I will be back sooner than later.

We had a company Christmas lunch complete with gift exchange at Hondos. Our server was knowledgeable and attentive. My sliced Top Sirloin was delicious and cooked medium (as a real steak should be!) The creamed corn was topped off with Parmesan and the spinach had a hint of garlic. Both were perfect! I finished my lunch off with a tasty Crème Brûlée.

Mercy! The food was beyond our expectations, and service was top notch! We had the ribeye and lamb chops. Both cooked to perfection with excellent presentation. Highly recommend for that special dining experience.

Stopped in for a lunch meeting. The menu provided many delightful options. I chose the "12 Lunches under $12" menu. The coconut shrimp lunch was delicious.

Had lunch today with two old friends. Our server Katie was beyond personable and provided excellent service. She made our visit quite delightful! We will be back soon to enjoy good food and hopefully Katie!
