Ye Olde Hotel Bar & Restaurant

The Wife and I came in for a great experience today. We had the fried cheese curds to start, I had the fried perch and she had a pulled pork BBQ sandwich. Both of us enjoyed the great food. Heather was super delightful as a waitress and even took the time to fill us in on some of the incredible history of the building and area.

Enjoyed the Friday Fish Fry, both fried and baked cod, old fashioned, and a delicious brandy alexander. Cheese Curds are a must. Will be back. Jonie and Staff were great!

This was a very cute place. We stopped in for a drink, and cheese curds. The old fashions were very reasonably priced and tasted delicious.

First time visit on Saturday. I can't find anything negative at all. Very clean and cozy restaurant. Service was Amazing, staff were all friendly and very attentive. Prime rib was cooked to perfection seasoned wonderfully. Portion size was very large. The best prime rib we have had in many years. I had a BrandyOldfashion or two, they were Amazing. We will return to give the fish fry a try. Thank you for all you do and the hard work that goes into have a Amazing restaurant.

We have been coming to this place for many years now. The owners Joe and Heather are amazing. Joni is also amazing! We love the food and experience. Food and drinks are crafted with love. Kindly visit this wonderful restaurant if you come to Burlington or Lake Geneva.

Had the Prime Rib dinner, cooked perfect! The baked French Onion soup was fantastic! Service was great, timed perfect, drinks were made to perfection. Stayed for after dinner drinks. Owners are the working staff+one. For great food, atmosphere and service I highly recommend you to to try this diamond in the rough.

This is a really great restaurant with a "small town" feel to it that adds a lot of unique charm. It's situated next to what appeared to be an old rail line running through the middle of town. Staff was friendly and food was great.

Great food and atmosphere just as I remembered from my last visit in the mid '80's. Considering the lack of employees they still got our food out to us pretty quickly and hot and delicious. I had cheeseburger and fried curds and they were great. Husband had the Italian beef and oh my gosh that was an amazing sandwich. So very good. Thank you for the trip down memory lane. I highly recommend this establishment.

AWESOME PLACE! The history alone is amazing. So many fun antique/vintage items to look at! Loved the old pictures. The owners and staff are SUPERB. So welcoming and attentive and FUN. The food was delicious as well. Loved the French Onion soup! Family friendly too! Have to try out the antique 10cent ride-on horse - that still WORKS! And the antique jukebox record player. Such a great experience. Thank you!!

It's a great historical experience! It's an amazing family run business! I highly recommend this restaurant. The food and service were awesome! It's a historical gem for Lyons and the Schaefer family that perseveres it for generations ♥

Best.Fish.EVER! I have never described fried fish as light, fluffy, delicate & the breading very thin, crispy. Not limp, not greasy. All you can eat every Wednesday & Friday with coleslaw, potato or veggies, grainey rolls - 10 bucks. Great food with very attentive Carmen at your service. Oh, and don't miss the $3 Old Fashioned. You can order off the full menu if you prefer. Seafood lovers - Lobster Tail, Surf & Turf (with Filet). A genuine hidden gem in Lyons, WI, about 10 minutes from Lake Geneva.

We ordered carry out for their Friday Night Fish fry, it was the best I've had in a long time!
In these trying times we all need to support our local resturants. Have the fish fry, you'll be glad you did.

Stopped in Sunday evening for a drink, riding sleds, right on the trail, had a real good drink, made just right. Didn't plan on eating but the bartender had me sold on the prime rib sandwich (made over n sliced up from Saturday night prime rib) very tasty, 12 bucks, can't go wrong. Will be back again.

Love this place, food is always superlative as is service, I was afraid when the owner Joe Schaefer died it would close but son J.J. and wife Heather took over keeping the tradition alive! Smaller menu but diverse, give this place a shot. You can't go wrong!!

Best prime rib ever. Everytime we come the prime rib is phenomenal. If you are a prime rib fan you HAVE to eat here on Saturdays! Staff is also very friendly and courteous!

It's been a long time since I've been here the food was good and it was great seeing our waitress Red still working there
