La Luna Italian Bistro & Bar

La Luna Italian Bistro is located in Del Ray Beach, Fl. The atmosphere is very pleasant with very nice art work on the walls. The service was really good. We had chicken sorrentino which was excellent and it comes with a house salad and pasta. We had decaf cappuccino which was hot and delicious. I highly recommended this restaurant if you haven’t been.

The manager himself made sure we were happy with the seating even though the restaurant was very busy. Our server's name was Jasmine and she made the evening even more fun & special. Jasmine was very knowledgeable about the food preparation & helped me decide on what turned out to be a fantastic ossobuco dish. She was very attentive to us the entire evening. Jasmine made it even more fun. It was a really was a special evening. The food was great. Would definitely go back and request Jasmine as our waitress.

Its a pleasure to send this note of our family of four visiting your Bistro an early evening in Sept. On the way back to Houston Dropped off 95, looked for a good dish of Italian something. Ya got it and it was tops. Especially the eggplant dishes. Excellent Italian food. The marinara sauce, super! I can't say enough of Ur wait-staff's polite attitudes. I'll be calling later to hear what agent you are using with their training.
My wife's dad, a VFW combat flyer visit every food-dive given a chance was very impressed w/Ur dinning room decor, thats five-stars for you right there as not being on a golf range.
Many customers should understand a simple matter, Ur dining hour is not the place to just 'talk&sip', "eat&git', there are park benches out front.

We had such a great time on Feb 19! They accommodated our party of 6 beautifully. The manicotti was Delish and our waiter Terry was amazing. Thank you Terry!

Four of us came in to La Luna, located in Boca, because we heard so much about this restaurant. The food was outstanding as we were told, and we were asked to have Jamie be our server. Our friends were so right, he was extremely attentive, a personality that was over the top very friendly and his service was impeccable. We definitely will be going back to La Luna for the food and only want Jamie to take care of us. He definitely made our evening.

My husband and I have eaten at La Luna many times. The food has always been delicious. We brought friends with us who had never been there and we recommended it. It was one of the most embarrassing evenings I’ve ever experienced.
It was an hour from the time we placed our order that we finally asked the manager what was going on, as we still hadn’t received our food. Instead of handling our question and discontent professionally, she told us that it was 45 minutes from the time we placed our order. She was very very nasty about that. She was incorrect, as at that point it was 50 minutes. 15 additional minutes went by and still no food. We asked her to come back. She was extremely nasty. Told us that she had larger parties that needed to be served. At that point the place was almost empty and there were no large parties to be seen. We asked her what she could do for us since it was now over an hour and we were still waiting. She said that she “won’t do anything for us because she’d have to do something for everyone”! We were in shock that we were being treated like that. She saw that. At that point she further added “Everyone wants something for free”! We were so insulted, and we told her that. Her name is Nicole. Nicole needs serious management training or needs to be let go.
This was always one of our favorite places and we go there on a regular basis with our family who live at the Polo Club as well as with many friends. We will never be back as long as Nicole is the manager. I hope that people reading this will re-think dining there. There were a hundred other ways she could have handled this situation but chose to turn the table on the customers. We were terribly embarrassed. We raved about the food and the place to our friends. We’ll certainly never do that again.

Update:
I called last week (first week of April) and was told that these horrendous people have been fired and new managers, hostesses and a new chef, along with the original, have been hired. Four of us tried it once again last night.
It was wonderful in every way. The new hostesses couldn’t have been more pleasant. The new manager was so nice. Our waiter was very efficient and excellent. The food, as always, was delicious. (The food was the only reason I gave it two stars last time. I was told I shouldn’t have even done that, but I wanted to be fair, even though we have never been treated so poorly.)
I’m thrilled that someone read and did something about these terribly negative reviews. I’m happy to be back, as are many of my friends. I reported back to all.

Great service, great food, and all orders came out with no issues or hold backs.

We were a group of 10 on New years eve early seating. The table was set up perfect. Our waiter Kenny was excellent as usual. Very thorough ,and attentive as he always is. His helpers were excellent also.

The food was delicious and came out hot. We have gone to laluna many times on New Year s and it's all ways superb .. Also consistent during the year

We have been going to this fabulous restaurant since they re-opened after closing for the pandemic. We love it and try to go once a week. The food is amazing and very well priced. The staff is very friendly and provide great service. Their early bird special is surely the best deal in town. A big menu with something for everybody. A three course meal with coffee or tea for under $20. My husband and I usually order the salmon, my mother orders the flounder Francais. We believe their food is the best of any nearby restaurant. We have ordered several chicken and veal dishes and have never been disappointed. Lasagna is also delicious. All servings are huge, it's difficult to finish, so we usually have plenty of leftovers to take home. We always order chocolate cake for desert - and end up taking some home.

Some people are concerned about eating indoors, but it's no problem. Every other table is left open and staff wear masks and gloves and keep the restaurant spotless.

Celebrating friends 20th anniversary ❤. Great server, very happy. Good food felt homemade.

Early bird specials (salad or soup, entree, pasta side and dessert too. Terrific, staff was great, tasty food, good prices. Easy parking. Nice bar.

Lovely meal outside on a gorgeous night. The service from Kenny was extraordinary. The food was delicious. The big winner at the table was the Portobello Mushroom appetizer. The portions were generous, but that didn’t stop my husband from finishing his Veal Marsala.

Food was delicious and plentiful. We had a lovely wait person, Victoria, who was friendly and knowledgeable. We had a very enjoyable dinner. Thank you, Victoria!

Tonight we went to dinner with my wife's 96 year old grandmother. We went to La Luna Italian Bistro in #BocaRaton. I have to give them all the praise in the world. Not only was the food delicious (with huge portions even for their early bird special), but the service was spectacular. They truly know how to take care of people, particularly their older clientele. My wife's grandma felt pampered and special and you could tell the other tables felt the same way. For a woman who is blind, can't walk well, and often is treated with impatience in restaurants, they made grandma's day. From the hostesses to the wait staff and truly every person there, it was a five star experience. Thank you for such an amazing evening!

Sunset menu a good deal. Order by 5:30. Do not rush you.
