PJ's Oyster Bar

I spoke to the waitress about my dietary needs, and she said no problem at all. I ordered the Philly cheese steak as a wrap, and it was delicious! My friend ordered the fish and chips and coconut shrimp, and it was also delicious. The fish was perfectly cooked. The waitress was on top of everything, friendly, and extremely helpful.

This is an old favorite. The food is still prepared perfectly and the ambiance eclectic. Decent Servers, good food and fun atmosphere. Be prepared to have a busy place, especially during the Winter time of the year. I got the Broiled Mahi, Scallops and Shrimp. The Dessert was Bananas Foster Cheesecake.

I truly love this restaurant. Crazy good, fresh food. During season, the stone crab is to die for, blackeye peas are amazing and their hush puppies are done just right.

I've had their Grouper, clams, oysters and just keep going back. Great down home super fresh seafood and reasonably priced too. You will never go wrong here. One of my all time faves!! 👍❤

Quiet and good food. We ordered raw oysters, blackened Mahi and grilled Scallops. The last two dishes could use a bit more flavor but otherwise cooked well. The service was tentative.

We had a great time, fabulous food. Tony made our experience so much fun, he had us laughing and created an enjoyable dinner for us!

We walked in for oysters in a Sunday afternoon and we found PJ'S Oysters Bar not that crowded and we decided to try it. Food was good, bloody Mary was excellent 👌, but the oysters, WOW. I'm a big fan of oysters and I started to know when are fresh or not, but this ones omg, so so fresh and tasty. I ordered a dozen but after I tasted one I knew I need another dozen 😁. I forgot to mention the oysters were local, Gulf of Mexico. Bert was our server who was very friendly and good. My experience in PJ'S Oysters Bar was really good and I recommend it.

The food was tasty. I liked the grouper sandwich. The shrimp scampi was tasty as well.
Calamari was good, but the portion was small.

Don’t sleep on PJ’s!! My Husband and I came in at the recommendation of a local. We had the gator bites, raw oysters, and the scallops. Each item was absolutely delicious! I also had a few Mango colada’s that were worth coming in for on their own. The atmosphere is relaxed and casual and the service was FANTASTIC! Our server was knowledgeable, attentive, friendly, and even helped us pick our dinner spot for the next evening. We can’t wait to return. Thank you for the great first experience!!

We sat outside and our server was great and attentive. The food was spot on. Everything was great. Stone crab claws were perfect and the shrimp was fried and another order was grilled. Both were perfectly cooked. Will be going back.

My husband and I have passed by so many times, and we finally ate there tonight. The service, food, and drinks were excellent, and we will be back. We especially liked the crab stuffed flounder and margaritas.

Absolutely loved Becky! She is extremely knowledgeable about the menu and helped guide each one of us towards a dish we absolutely demolished. The stuffed flounder is a must try! The moment we walked in we were greeted by David who was friendly and made jokes with us as we were seated. The atmosphere is laid back and mom and pop. Becky noted that they like to support local fishermen and local businesses when they can so a large portion of their menu is made in house. Next time I’m in Tampa I will definitely be returning! Great food and service! I had the ahi tuna steak blackened and it was delicious and cooked perfectly. My mom had the Caribbean lobster tail and it was cooked perfectly and was delicious! They were very accommodating to our family with a 3yo and twin one year olds! Definitely will go back if in the area!

This was probably the best seafood restaurant I have ever visited. The food and service was exceptional. I had the fish and chips. The were fresh, crispy and very delicious. I plan on going back to try some other items.

After driving by this place for several years we decided to stop in , the food was great we should have stopped in sooner , they have a full bar which is a good thing too !!!

Found this place by chance. Was drawn into it by its outdoor sitting option. Was VERY glad we decided to give it a try.
The food was seasoned just right, well served, and we loved the service that Jaime, our server, gave. She was super friendly and attentive. Thanks for being part of our Florida experience! Definitely would come back.

Relaxed atmosphere, it has a mix of a dive bar feel and a 60s diner. Social distancing and masks on until you get to the table. Portion sizes are good, can share a meal but I suggest you don’t. The Rockefeller oysters are to die for, these are the best I’ve tasted so far. Kid friendly , you can bring the family and Keto friendly as long as you don’t order fries.The staff is friendly and efficient. There are two locations, make sure you have the right location before you call in your order. Best grouper I tasted in St Pete’s beach. Food is very affordable.

This is one of our favorite seafood places to eat. We Always eat here at least twice on our Treasure Island vacation for last 10 years. Absolutely Love It ! You won't be disappointed !

I can’t say anything bad aboutPJ’s! It is one of my favourite restaurant of all time. I come to Florida 3 times a year and PJ’s is my first and last resultant I visit! The food is great. The staff are amazing. The atmosphere is spectacular and you can even sign a dollar bill and staple it to the wall! Once the walls are full of dollar bills, they donate the money to a local charity! Also, don’t forget to meet PJ (the parrot) before you leave!

We really enjoyed it! The food was very good and plentiful. We had Oysters on half shell nice size. Hubby had fried grouper sandwich he loved it, the coleslaw and the black eyed peas made there were excellent (especially the cole slaw which I normally don't care for was very tasty)!! I had the pick 3 dinner fried oysters and blackened shrimp and sea scallops, I was empressed with the quantity and quality was very good! Only draw back for me I love baked potatoes especially when splurging on a diner price meal. The fries were good but baked potatoes only after 5pm. The Peanut Butter pie was yummy. David our server was very nice in answering all our menu questions. We will return soon.

Best oysters and I am an expert. Cold beer. Chill atmosphere...
