Losing my mom was the most difficult experience of my life thus far. Nothing and no one could can change this, but the funeral directors and staff at Dorsey - E. Earl Smith Funeral Home went a long way toward bringing me peace. They were professional, caring, and imparted a sense of serenity during all of our interactions.

They helped to bring my vision for my mom's celebration of life to a reality in a seamless manner. I was completely overwhelmed with how far above and beyond they went in creating a personalized and fitting day for me, my mom, and our family. My mom would have been overwhelmed with this tribute to what she meant to us. My mom's favorite color was purple, and the team at Dorsey - E. Earl Smith Funeral Home ensured that it featured prominently throughout. The table displays were beautifully arranged and beautifully represented the life of my beautiful mom.

I want to personally thank Eric and Michael for their kindness, compassion, and for guiding me and my family through this difficult time and on our journey to healing.

Eric and his staff went beyond my expectations in providing me with the support. He walked me through the difficult process of what to do and how to plan a special service for my amazing Mother. I know she was looking down and loved how we celebrated her.

Jennifer, Brian, and Amy have been incredible. They are kind, passionate, helpful, and went above and beyond during our family's unexpected loss. We honestly can't think of a better group of people to work with during this time. Especially during the holidays. We are deeply grateful for their hearts, their empathy, and their concern.

I've been here many times in my life for services of friends and family, but this time was the first time that I actually had to play an active role in planning and make decisions. Jennifer was our director and she is truly a blessing. She is professional and compassionate. I cannot thank her enough for making this process as easy on our family as she did. It’s never a fun time having to contact a funeral home but all the 5 star reviews are correct. After a short battle with cancer my poor mother succumbed to her illness and had passed on. The news was difficult and days were rough as anyone would expect. Eric and Brian along with the rest of the team at Dorsey E. Earl Smith funeral home made sure to take care of all the details with kindness and with respect.

Before contacting Doresy E. funeral home I was in contact with another funeral home in the west palm area and felt no sense of care from the staff.

So I’d like to begin by saying thank you to Jason who was sympathetic and urgent when I presented to him the day and time I needed for my grandpas viewing and burial.

Jennifer, Micheal, Eric and the rest of the Dorsey E. staff thank you for going above and beyond.

The process was overwhelming but Jennifer walked my mother and I through it with ease and I can not thank her enough for paying close attention to all the details.

My grandpas celebration of life was on Sunday and burial on Tuesday being that Monday was a holiday. I am beyond grateful for the compassion and attentiveness that was given to my family and I during this difficult time, I can not thank you all enough.

Amy and Brian took care of my family during this very difficult time. I requested changes at the last minute of Amy and she was accommodating. Then, again, on the day of the service, I requested assistance from Amy, and made a special request from Brian, and neither hesitated. In a very expensive business, I had an expectation of vultures (sorry, it's true), but instead I was met with caring, patience, and support. I am truly grateful.

I was faced with the awful experience of losing my mother at a young age of 62 out of the blue, and her father, my grandfather 4 days later. I didn’t know what to do or where to begin, but Jennifer at Earl E. Dorsey was wonderful. I live a few counties away from Palm Beach County. Jennifer made it a painless experience in the wake of such a painful tragedy. My family has had generations buried there and I wouldn’t have gone anywhere else. Thank you Jennifer for helping to ease my pain and making this experience a whole lot easier.

The care that Eric and Michael gave the Lanza family was exceptional, compassionate and totally professional. I cannot say enough about how wonderfully my mom’s funeral/burial was handled.

This funeral home provided absolutely everything I needed as I had to make arrangements from out of town. The staff was sensitive to my needs and worked to ensure it was a stress free experience for my family. I was very impressed with everything from beginning to end. My father was remembered with dignity and great respect.

Jennifer and Caesar did an amazing job. Unlike the other funeral homes I contacted that had no empathy, treated everything like business transaction, this one was different. Losing a loved one is hard enough, to call all of the other places was such a nerve wracking and emotional experience. They were so courteous professional, helpful, respectful and knowledgeable. They answered all my questions no matter how small and were willing to help the best they can. Everything went smoothly, thank you so much Jennifer, Caesar and staff. We appreciate you.

Thank you to the funeral director and the staff for helping me and my family celebrate my late husband, Bruce H Walton. This is a very difficult time, however, everything went smoothly and we had one less thing to worry about. We are saddened that this tragedy occurred to us, but we are forever grateful to the staff for providing stellar service.

In a time of loss Nicole, Micheal and the rest of the staff at Dorsey’s went above and beyond to make my fathers celebration of life absolutely beautiful. We appreciate everything they did to make it a beautiful setting. In the viewing room were round tables which made it nice to be able to see and talk to one another. Everyone that was there complimented on how beautiful everything was. So glad I purchased the package with the food. I think it was nice to be able to go into another room and be able to socialize with everyone. I just can’t thank them enough for all that they did to make this such a beautiful celebration in a time of sadness and heartache.

In a situation like the one you contact a funeral home, it is never easy to handle. I reached out to Dorsey when my mother was in the final stages of hospice. My questions were answered, and the care and compassion shown was greatly appreciated. When my mother passed, they didn't take long to come to our home and transport her to the funeral home. They were discrete and conscious of the worries of my family. When we made final arrangements, Eric and his team were astounding. They wanted to get to know my mom to give a personal touch to the services. He asked questions to help as best possible. Planning this was not easy. I was lost, and even though I thought I knew what I was doing, it just got overwhelming. Eric took over and was so helpful. Thank you! I asked significant questions and all were answered and patiently. The day of the service, Jennifer led her team and when we got there, the decorations were perfect. Thank you to the Dorsey team for making such a horrible time something to remember.

Everyone was very friendly and professional. The General Manager, Heather, was so kind and pleasant. It was a very good experience. Our purpose was to get all the necessary plans in place for our only son, Christopher. It definitely was not difficult and now we have the peace of mind that it's all taken care of. Many thanks to everyone.

Heather and her team (Michael and Cesar) were beyond helpful during such a difficult time. The cemetery is beautiful and they were able to help me pick the perfect spot for our loved one. The day of, Michael took care of everything and Heather was there as well adding the details I wanted to make the graveside ceremony such a beautiful send off. If you are looking for an intimate farewell for your loved one with lots of TLC, this is the place to go. If I could give them 10 stars I would. Thank you Heather and staff for everything you did. Your kindness and support will never be forgotten.

Dorsey Funeral Home went above and beyond to ensure our mothers muslim funeral was handled within the requirements of our religious beliefs. They are extremely respectful of our practice. The Director Nicole is top notch at customer service and making you feel welcomed during a very difficult time. She provided a very nice room for us to come together and at times even knew more about our practice then we did! She often went out of her way to communicate at all times of the night and weekend. We were very satisfied.

From the moment we arrived, the staff was so attentive to all of our needs. I am very pleased with Eric Greczel, the funeral director who took care of every detail. The arrangement was beautifully done, the photo of Mother was the biggest surprise. Eric you did a fantastic job with the colors and the frame. The food was delicious. A lot of people commented about the delicious coffee and the reception.
