Alden Suites - A Beachfront Resort

Absolutely love this place! We got married in St. Petersburg in 2018 and blocked out rooms at this resort for out of state family. Very well kept, clean, lots of activities, parking garage, beach bar, everything. Highly recommend this resort when in St. Pete Beach area!

This resort was absolutely fantastic! I highly recommend it. We were really early when we arrived. David was working the front desk and he let us store our luggage in their staff room, gave us towels for the pool and told me he would call when our room was ready. The room was great! The view is spectacular! They have 2 pools and a huge hot tub! All 3 were the perfect temperature! The bar is right on the beach so it's a killer view! The drinks are yummy as well. There is a and volleyball court, ping pong, tennis courts and grills on the resort for the guests to use. Every single person that worked the desk while we were staying there were so friendly and helpful! They gave us a great recommendation for our last meal in St Petersburg beach and they seemed sad that we were leaving. It's like you become a part of their family while you are there. If we have a chance to go back, this is the resort we will stay at!

Best customer service! Big shout out to Jeremy! Our flight was cancelled after we had already checked out. We went back to the resort. Jeremy was very calming for what we felt was a bad situation with our flight being cancelled and nowhere to stay on a moments notice. We could not get a Flight our for three days. We were able to secure a room for the extra 3 days. The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is within walking distance to several very good restaurants. The beach was a wonderful place sit and watch the beautiful sunsets. A few dolphin sightings early morning. Thank you again to Jeremy and staff! Our stay was awesome!

First time visiting St. Pete and this was my hotel choice. I do not regret picking this place. The staff was super friendly and nice with everything! We arrived early and were scared we wouldn’t be able to check in early but the front desk allowed us to check in early and go to our room. The view was amazing even though we were in the second floor. The room was really clean! It is right by the beach, which is always a plus. They have two big pools which were super nice to swim in and were clean! Room service team was super amazing, they came everyday and made sure everything was picked up. Would definitely book with them again!

This place was wonderful! My beachfront suite with balcony was small but comfortable. Kitchen and bathroom appliances updated, one bed was comfy, the other a little hard. The place was impeccably clean, huge nice jacuzzi and 2 pools, very easy access to the beach, the beach bar laid back and lots of fun! Staff very friendly. Would absolutely stay here again!

The room was fabulous! Plenty of towels, the beds were comfortable, the room was clean and updated. The staff was very friendly and helpful! Our flight arrived early but they still had our two rooms ready for us! It was the slow season so the place was quiet and relaxing! The house keeping staff took extra good care of my elderly father. Even the guy cleaning the pool helped us with directions to a nearby attraction. The price was great as well! Thank you guys!!

Great locally owned resort that's in very good condition. Staff was very friendly and accommodating at front desk and throughout resort. Rooms were nicely updated and well kept. Rooms, buildings, and grounds were clean, pools were in great shape, and warm during cooler months. Landscaping was very nice and well kept. Really enjoyed the patio/bar area on the beach to hang with friends. The hot tub was nice and fun to socialize with others. Nice and easy access via beach to fun places like Jimmy B's and Toasted Monkey whether to eat or for night life. And free coffee in the morning was a nice touch too! Definitely would recommend and go back!!!

Right on the beach with a balcony or porch for every room. Two clean and spacious pools and a nice hot tub in between. Our room was clean upon arrival and cleaned every day. The suite with the kitchenette was spacious with a table and four chairs, couch and an ottoman. We had pots and pans and everything we needed to cook with. The dishwasher was awesome!! The front desk employees and employees we ran into on the resort were friendly and always made a point to say hello. On our second day there, I kept turning down the air but it kept getting warmer in our room. I told the front desk and they had maintenance in our room within 10 minutes to fix the unit. Loved how the beach was literally a step off of the Cabana Bar. We had so much fun walking the shore line, searching for shells and relaxing in the warm waters. Loved our week trip at the Alden and can't wait to return again. Best in St. Pete's for sure!!

I’m not sure where to start. The moment we open our room door, I noticed how clean Our room was. For a person who likes things to be completely clean and tidy, I was impressed. Secondly, the staff here is amazing. They treat you like family. They are all so busy moving around cleaning and keeping the resort nice And I appreciate them for that.. now let’s move onto the cabana boy, the bartenders are out of this world. I haven’t even left yet, and I’m getting ready to book for next year. If you want to beautiful place to stay with your family, this is it. Thank you Alden suites for making us feel at home. We will see you all next year😘😘

We stayed at the Alden Suites resort the last week of July for 7 days and had a fantastic time! The staff was very friendly and helpful with everything needed. Buddy at the front desk was outstanding and made the stay very personable. Every recommendation he made was spot on and made finding restaurants and fishing trips well worth it. A few times I went to the front desk to ask about towels and coffee and he stated just call us we will bring it up to you. When we called they delivered immediately and were very pleasant as well. The cabanas were well worth the money and again they were always pleasant and helpful. He checked on us often and provided all the info we needed. This resort is outstanding and I would say the customer service deserves a 10. Thank you for all of your service and for making my vacation outstanding!

This is a family owned hotel at least it will be for the next month or so. It was sold to trade winds earlier and going under there name soon and so I was hesitant to leave a review but I decided to just state my opinion like a snapshot in time. Me and my brother have stayed at over 500 hotels in our time working over the road. We have both agreed this is the best hotel that we have had the pleasure of staying with. The room is quite nice clean large fridge and stocked with dishware stove and microwave. However what really leaves a lasting impression is the staff and I have to say Steven from the front desk is a model employee. I had a few conversations with him while grabbing a cup of coffee which by the way I recommend. And he is definitely dedicated to his job and truly comes to work with a bright attitude and a special type of dedication you don't usually see in the workplace today especially after covid. I hope this hotel stays modestly priced and continuesto hold on to its current employees. Because this has been a great experience from day one. pools are nice decently warm and the hot tub is hot

The rooms are nice. Bed extra comfy.
Staff are extremely nice and cater to your every need. Room was great! I liked the idea of having all the amenities of home. Miss Wanda our housekeeper, is a real nice person, easy to talk to and loves her job! It was a pleasure every morning seeing her! I recommend this hotel. Clean, efficient, close to the beach, two pools, a hot tub and laundry mat, and convenience store on site. Drinks at the bar by the beach are reasonably priced and delicious! Definitely coming back in the near future!

Nice place and helpful staff right on the beach. Everyone was very friendly and also very respectful of covid 19 safety guidelines. The room was immaculate and clean and fresh. It was also right on the water! Just open our door and out to the beach. Would highly recommend for multiple reasons. Kids had a blast on the beach and in the water. Beautiful day and beautiful experience.

My family and I decided to have a long weekend at the beach and I finally decided on staying at the Alden. The room was clean, spacious & had an amazing ocean view. There are all the amenities you would need here & the price was great. The best part of the whole stay would have to be the bartenders, Dave & Chris. They were so friendly & easy to talk to. Will definitely be coming back soon!!

The rooms are cleaned daily, the attendants are friendly, the views are beautiful. I absolutely love the community patio. They have 3 grills ready to go at all hours. They are gas so you don't need charcoal. Lots of socialization happens there people feel comfortable. Yes they are cleaned too. They have a little cabana bar right on the beach. I found myself enjoying a sunset then being surprised by fireworks in the evening. Honestly, I'm coming back.

Great beach front hotel! We had 2 different room types, and the king suite (ocean facing) was definitely nicer than the doubles suit (also ocean facing). Even though they were different, both were well within the expectation for the hotel type and amenities. There was coffee in the room and lobby. There was ping pong, basketball, tennis, corn hole, and beach volleyball. There are 2 pools and a fairly large hot tub. Cabana bar is right on the beach. Plenty of beach chairs and shades that were available for a nominal fee of $25 (there is no resort fee). There is also laundry available. The rooms were remarkably quiet and the black out curtains actually worked. The pull out couch was fairly comfortable, and no complaints from the kid. Parking was handy and security was present. Everyone was super friendly. I was impressed and would stay there again.

I had a 3 day 2 night stay here recently and it was an awesome experience. It was my first time to the St Pete/Clearwater beaches as well. They went ahead and upgraded my suite to the upper floor with a spectacularly breathtaking ocean view. The check in process was fast and friendly, unfortunately I cannot remember the name of the front desk agent but great job! The location is almost in the middle of the main street with restaurants, bars and entertainment just minutes away. The occupancy seemed full at the time but that didn't deter is plus the crowd was mostly adults. Didn't use any of the pools or jacuzzi as the amazing beach was just footsteps away. The time went by pretty fast so that means I'll definitely have to stay for a week the next time. The room was comfortable enough for the 3 of us but I'll splurge for the king suite in the future. Try Alden Suites, you won't be disappointed.

This place is awesome. We have stayed many places and this is probably one of the best places we have stayed. Don’t let it’s size fool you, this place has everything the big places have to offer. Great place for families they have shuffle board, tennis and basketball. The rooms are a decent size for beach front property. Well kept and maintained property, rooms are clean. Beach is beautiful. And last but not least the staff here is fabulous, friendly and kind! If we visit this area again we will definitely return. You can’t go wrong staying here!

The resort was very well kept. The rooms are updated . I love tile floors over carpet because you can see how clean they truly are. The small kitchennete had new appliances. We were very happy with our stay. They have two big pools and a jacuzzi in between. The Cabana was a great place to hang out at while watching the sunset. This resort had so many amenities you would never be bored. My husband and I have no children; however, we noticed that it was kid friendly and children had a great time. If you do not want to hear children screaming, jumping, having fun, I advice your room be away from the pools. We will definitely stay at Alden Suites again!

Cannot say enough good things about this place! We always stay at other hotels along the beach and always end up having bad experiences. We wanted to try something new and am SO glad we did! Natashia at the front desk was amazing. She was so friendly, sweet and even was able to get us a room after we arrived a bit early. The room was clean and the bed was very comfy. This is the only place we will be staying on St. Pete Beach from now on!
