Family Church Downtown

An exceptionally well run and well attended church! Streamlined service, great music, solid message, and I love the beautiful interior (white with natural light, instead of black with no windows, and beautiful columns). I've been to most of the Sunday churches in the area and this is my favorite, by far!

If you are reading this and have been considering visiting, here is the run down and everything you need to know. Dress code is fairly casual here. You can come in shorts and a t-shirt, or a blazer and tie if you’d like. If you want to feel most comfortable for guys I would wear a polo and shorts or pants. Parking is free and accessible, with a lot attached to the property. I would recommend arriving 15 minutes before the service to take your seat. They have water bottles and coffee provided, and it’s entirely free. Sit wherever you find an opening, there are no “assigned seats.” Some weekends the balcony isn’t open, but otherwise it’s totally fine to sit up there. If you have a Bible bring it, and if not it is not a problem, one is at your seat.

Family Church is very approachable! If you’re nervous that you will stand out or be called out at any point do not be. If you want to meet and speak with the pastor and church staff there is an informal opportunity at the end, but nobody will make you do anything outside of your comfort zone. The church is generally fairly contemporary, but in a beautiful classical building, with a firm Bible preaching theology. The messages are very applicable and easy to follow! It’s not an appeal to emotionalism, and rather interesting and thoughtful messages everyone needs to hear. If you are thinking about going I highly recommend. This is an incredibly welcoming and faithful church and it won’t be intimidating whatsoever. It’s small enough that it is comfortable, and big enough it isn’t awkward. There is a separate service at the same time for children, but they’re welcome to sit in the main service with you if you’re more comfortable. I absolutely recommend this church for anyone who is curious and looking for a community! Wonderful people and church environment!

The people are kind and caring. Loved feeling accepted and seen. Wonderful kids ministry, my son loved it! This place is truly the hands and feet of Jesus.

I have been attending Iglesia Familiar Downtown for over 5 years and I have always been impressed by the welcoming and loving atmosphere. The leadership staff are passionate about their faith and the pastor preach the gospel in a way that is relevant to people of all ages. The praise and worship are always inspiring. I highly recommend Iglesia Familiar Downtown to anyone looking for a church home.

My husband and I became members at Family Church in 2013. In that time, it has truly become like a second home. Everyone is always so happy and welcoming. You can really see the light of Jesus shining through. We love being there and serving every Sunday. I definitely recommend giving it a try if you are looking for a warm, friendly place to worship!

Love love love Family Church West! So grateful to call this place my church home. Pastor Tim is an incredible pastor and we are so blessed to have him. He is so passionate and so good at teaching the Bible. Love how welcoming and friendly everyone is at this campus, made it easy to become a part of quick. So glad to be apart of Family Church West.

I felt I found my home from the first visit. Everyone is welcome & we all come from different walks of life. It truly is a family church! From newborn to age 100, we have all ages covered. Our pastors all teach from the same sermon; right down to the toddlers. Your whole family can discuss what was taught that morning around the dinner table. No matter how young or old you are in your journey with Christ you will find the teachings wonderful! Give us a try!

Incredible energy and welcome on my first visit!! I felt an instant bond with Family Church, and couldn't wait to go back the following Sunday. In fact, I even work out with some of the Pastors and members of church at their gym @6:30am. The worship music is out of sight, and will bring tears to your eyes!! I can only express ALL positive words when I think of Family Church and look forward to getting Baptized there too:)Everyone is welcome and you will leave wanting more!!!!!

I have been growing spiritually more through the fellowship, leadership, and stewardship since I have joined Family Church than I ever have throughout my life. The pastor teaches out of the Bible, the growth groups are a great way to connect and pursue God's design. This church has become home, and all who attend have truly become family. I've grown up at this church since I was a young girl. They have always been like family to me. Family Church Downtown is a diverse community; all people are welcome. Our pastor preaches sound truth from the Bible. If you're looking for a place to belong, I encourage you to visit!

Family Church is truly an authentic church. My husband and I have been attending for two years now, and we couldn't ask for a better church home. You will find families and individuals from all seasons of life, all walks of life, and every kind of story. Also, the worship team is simply incredible!

I used to attend another church in the palm beach county area. After several years I felt a pull to a deeper understanding of the Bible. I found myself in need of more than just music and lofty ideas of God. I visited several churches in the neighboring area only to find more of the same. When I first attended Family church I was welcomed with open arms and didn't feel lost in the crowd. Since that day I have been attending the 10:30 Sunday service at the downtown campus. The staff at Family church are no longer viewed as staff, as they have poured endlessly into my personal life even when I didn't deserve it. Now they are like brothers, sisters, mothers and fathers. Family.Words are of no evail when I think about my experience at Family church.
