Reed Roofing we have a beautiful historic home and searched long to find the best company to treat our 20 year old tile roof. Reed roofing was fantastic from start to finish. Mr Reed and his team are very professional and knowledgeable and have worked on some of the finest historic homes in st pete. my wife and i highly recommend Reed Roofing, you wont be disappointed.

Todd Reed and his crew are a really awesome experiance in today's world. They worked for us multiple times on different projects in the last years.Commercial and residential. Everytime it was a plesure to work with them. Quality work, in a reasonable time frame, clean, respectful of property, using quality materials. Reed Roofing has done 2 jobs for me. They replaced the roof on my 23 unit historic apartment building originally built in 1923. They did a very professional job. His team were very hard workers and always very professional. I am very pleased with the quality of the work. For the second job, Todd helped solve a drainage problem I was having with a 14' x 14' deck, which serves as a deck for one apartment and a roof for another. Todd is an engineer as well as a general contractor. His knowledge and experience serves him well. He figured out a solution for the roof/deck at a reasonable cost that many other contractors were not able or willing to attempt. I highly recommend Todd Reed and Reed Roofing.

I can’t say enough about the quality of work and excellent communications! I initially had a new roof and impact skylights installed. Todd and his amazing hard working staff, did high quality, professional job through the planning process, materials selection, and installation! Three month after my new roof installation I had a huge oak tree fall on our home causing significant structural damage to our dining area. I notified Todd and he was with us as the contractor every step of the way and including the insurance claim process. High quality, diligence, integrity, responsive, honesty, are not enough words to describe my experience with Reed Roofing! They are excellent and come highly recommended! PROS:
—Reed Roofing is a family owned business.. and has been for nearly a hundred years. Beware of companies or individuals that haven’t been around long as they don’t have a lot to lose if they perform poor workmanship. Todd (owner) and his company have proven that they aren’t some fly by night company.

—Todd really knows and understands how the home insurance industry works here in Florida. He helped perform necessary repairs to our roof so that our insurance company would resign our policy. Note: insurance is a mess right now in Florida and they are looking for any reason to cancel your policy.

—Do you have a degree in roofology? I don’t. That’s why you hire someone like Mr. Reed. He will provide the best repair or replacement to your roof as possible. Todd was also able to explain how some roofing companies use inferior products, etc. For example, he only uses the highest quality underlayment. Some companies might use something cheap, like felt, which will reduce the life of your roof and possibly result in your insurance company dropping you. I fully trust Todd to use the highest quality products so that the repairs made to my roof will last as long as possible.

CONS:
—Reed Roofing provides a great value and reasonable prices. Though, you.. might.. find someone to repair or replace your roof cheaper. But, it’s not worth it! Go with Reed Roofing and have a great looking roof and confidence that it will be done right.

Note: I used Reed Roofing to perform a roof repair on my home in St. Petersburg. When we need a new roof, I’ll be using Mr. Reed as well.

Todd and Co. replaced a flat roof on our garage 8 years ago. Before Reed Roofing, it leaked every rainstorm. They installed a new membrane roof and we've never had a problem since. They also repaired a leaky roof on our office with the same result. Reed Roofing, not to be confused with Reggie Reed Roofing, is known as the Gold Standard of roofing companies in Pinellas County.

I work from home, generally outside in my lanai, all day and was concerned about noise when I saw that Reed Roofing was replacing my across-the-street neighbor's roof this week, but they have been astonishingly quiet and non-disruptive, the crew has been polite and professional, the job site has been kept neat and tidy, and both the pace of their progress and the quality of their work has been top-notch. This is the second time in over 20 years that I used Reed Roofing. I most recently replaced my roof. Mr. Todd Reed kept going on about the benefit of wind mitigation. I was doubtful about my insurance company giving me much of a break. So I hesitated.
I took my time ( a year) getting the information to my insuracne company. {Mr. Reed gave me the paperwork at the completion fo the job.) When I did submit it, my insurance went from $4000 to $2300 a year. I lost a year hesitating to submit.
This is a recurring savings and in a few years, I will fully recover what the roof cost me in insurance savings.
This translates to a free roof over time. I should have moved on it sooner.
Not all roofers will offer and press the importance of this. Todd did and I will receive this benefit for years to come. Thank you Mr. Todd Reed. You better call Reed Roofing today! He provides a detailed report and advises you on how to submit it and also discusses the applicable laws that insurance companies must follow in accepting and applying it to your home owner's policy.

I really enjoyed working with Reed roofing. The owner Todd made sure I was aware of everything that was going on. He does not cut any corners and makes sure that everything is above and beyond what is required. The job was done on time and they cleaned up everything when they were done.

Have used Reed Roofing on 4 different houses, and the experience has been top notch every time. Estimates are very competitive. The work is always completed much sooner than seems possible. Every employee I have ever encountered has been polite, happy, and hard working. To top it all off, there is a follow through on service that is rarely, if ever seen today. Cannot say enough good things about this company.
