Bewon Korean BBQ Restaurant

We really enjoyed the food! My friends have been here numerous times but it was my first time. We didn't do hotpot or the BBQ this time around, definitely next time!
The fried chicken was fantastic. Loved the Dumplings (even though they sent the wrong ones), and the sides were amazing!

The same feeling i once had in Busan in 2019, i got so much of it again today. Nice delicacies. Sure you know you have to completely cool your meal. How about that? Makes a family eat out so much fun 😊

We really like this place, visited 3 times out of our one week stay here. Food really nice, comes with big portion. barbecue comes with complementary egg and veggies. Services is good. Only thing is the long waiting time, there is one day it took us 40 mins to get sitter and another 35 mins to get our food served.

This was my very first Korean BBQ place, it did not disappoint! Their service was quick and so friendly! The food was fantastic! I loved all the little sides that come with all the meals. Spicy cucumber is a favorite dish for me and it did not disappoint, the kimchi was spicy but not a melt your mouth kind, which I love. I had spicy beef soup and it was absolutely delicious and packed full of ingredients and flavor. I will most definitely be back!!

I ordered the Bibimbap with beef, had several sides that they bring to the table. Bibimbap was awesome; absolutely quality ingredients and huge! Loved the kimchi and other sides brought to the table. Soup was also hot and good. Service was awesome; the young man refilling drinks and checking on tables went above and beyond; any other place will have to bring their AAA game. Highly recommend!

We were in the area looking for a great place to eat on a Friday night. Decided to go here for our first time. There was about a 45 min wait. I will say it was well worth the wait. We order dumplings that were amazing and crispy outside and tender and chewy. We ordered the chicken bulgogi we order there normal and spicy. The spicy was not that spicy but it had a good flavor. They gave a steamed egg complimentary that egg was great and very well seasoned. The atmosphere was good it was quiet enough to carry on a conversation at your table without yelling and you didn’t have to worry about others hearing what your saying. The wait staff was great they were always checking on us and making sure we didn’t need anything. We never had an empty glass. I would highly recommend this place for a great night out or a date nite.

We went to celebrate my husband's birthday and the food was amazing. The experience of the BBQ was great. We had an awesome time. The staff was really friendly and polite. The guy that got us the wings that we ordered came with such great energy that got us excited to try the wings. Overall, we really enjoyed everything.

Everyone at the table (5 years old and up) loved the food. Very helpful with suggestions! We will be back.

Fuiyoh!!! We're traveling to Port Canaveral, from Charlotte. Decided to take a pit stop and try this place randomly, and boy are we happy we did! Service by the whole team and Travis was top notch! Not that shady stuff. Every server I made eye contact with came by and asked if we were OK or needed anything, what a wow factor! The food! Omg delicious! A little on the expensive side but well worth the money. Thanks for the awesome experience!

This was really good and service was exceptional! I got the tteokbokki, mackerel and spicy octopus and got all the different side dishes and rice and Cass (Korean beer) to top it off. I’ll definitely go there whenever I’m in the area.. I’m not sure I’ll make the 5-6 drive just for that, but it was certainly really good. I obviously couldn’t finish everything and packed the leftovers home for dinner and brunch the next day. The tteokbokki was sweet (like sugar sweet) and not as spicy as I’m used to. The spicy octopus wasn’t spicy either but at least it wasn’t sweet and went really well with the rice.. I literally finished a bowl of rice by myself and had enough of the octopus sauce leftover for dinner.

I love this place! I used to say this was my favorite Korean restaurant in the area, then my favorite Asian restaurant, but then I realized it is actually my favorite restaurant.

I have dined here for lunch, dinner, grilling, and take-out. All of it has been exceptional. It's authentic. The food is fresh. The portions are large. The prices are more than reasonable. The staff is lovely and very attentive.

My boyfriend is Korean, and one of the first times he had the jajangmyeon (black bean paste noodles), he stated it was the closest to how his mom (who grew up in Korea) makes it. It brought him back to his childhood. I think that says a lot. My favorite dish would have to be the kimchi stew. I have only gone once or twice without ordering it. I love that the kimchi is strong without being overpowering and how full-bodied it is. You can taste all the ingredients: kimchi, green onions, tofu, rice cakes, and pork. We typically order the thin pork belly and beef bulgogi. Recently we tried the beef brisket, and it has become one of my favorite cuts.

We do a lot of Korean BBQ at home. The grilling here is very reasonable. You don't have to wait days for the meat to marinate. You don't spend time or money making all the side dishes (which you have endless refills here). When you finish, it's exactly that; you don't need to clean up. I know that last statement sounds lazy, but after you stuff yourself, usually that's the last thing you want to do.

If you're on the fence about trying Bewon out, go for it.

The food here is the best, and the kindness of the staff always seems to be there

After a long day of walking around Savannah, we were glad to find the Bewon Korean BBQ restaurant. We were seated at a grill table right away. I ordered the bean paste stew with vegetables and seafood. It was like comfort food! My friend got beef bulgogi and very tender chicken. Everything was top notch. Great service too!

Incredible service, incredible food, incredible people and an incredible time!! The best first experience and it certainly won’t be my last!

This was my first time trying Korean BBQ. Wow...the flavors and textures were amazing. The servers did an amazing job to explain the meal and the process. We opted for the table with a grill. We enjoyed everything about it.

Great food. Probably ordered way more than we could eat. However food was great and staff was amazing. They did a great job on the remodeling from the older Sushi restaurant that was there before. Definitely deserve 5 stars. Will be back again.

New to Korean foods so had them cook it for me. Was blown away at how good their Kimchi was and the garlic pork belly with rice. All the sides were delicious. Plan on going back with friends to get some bbq and other dishes I’ve never experienced. Well worth the price and perfect for an anniversary meal.

What can I say about this place. Nestle in what we call Old Pooler just past Fun Zone to the right side of the Hwy. We grilled all the food ourselves except the veggies and the Korean Fried chicken. Every dish was great and we plan to go back for more. This place os a must do for couples or families. You have to try it. You will not be disappointed.

It was insanely busy, which I always consider to be a good sign, and boy was I right. We had to wait about 10-15 minutes for a table, which was not bad at all. I got a glass of the Cabernet, which was good for my tastes, and then we got pork bulgogi (absolutely delicious) and my boyfriend got a noodle dish which he said was very good. We got Tteok-bokki as an appetizer and that was amazing I almost ordered more to take home. The portion sizes are great and our server was the sweetest. I cannot recommend this place enough. We spent about $70 for two people, but that was with two glasses of wine, an appetizer, and two entrees (so I would definitely say not bad at all considering the quality and the portions).

Solid 5 star. They greet you from afar. Menu and drink stat. Super friendly staff and very fast kitchen. Lots to choose from. The place is very clean. The Spicy Chicken Bulgogi and Korean Fried Chicken are both very good. The side dishes are very nice too.
