So happy I found Gulfport Garage! These guys are nothing short of awesome. They're honest, very reasonably priced service, they don't try to upsell you, they work fast, and they do great work. Can't ask for anything more! I've definitely found my local mechanic for life. Kudos to the owner, Eric, for doing such a great job on my recent service visit. Highly recommend this shop!

After sticker shock at another auto shop’s estimate for our repairs, we looked at reviews and took our 2003 Mini-Cooper to Gulfport Garage. We were not disappointed! Not only was the estimate much more affordable but several repairs the first shop said were needed, Eric told us weren’t needed at all. Not only was his honesty a rare find, but the work was completed quickly and we are more than satisfied. If you’re looking for honest, affordable and quality auto work, you won’t find anyplace better than Gulfport Garage!

Sent my daughter in for repair on her 13 year old car - we had no idea what it was. Eric was so nice and explained to her what the issue was. What seemed like a huge problem (loss of power steering along with a few error codes and system warning lights) was based on an issue with a tire.
They took care of the issue same day even though she didn’t have an appointment. Looking forward to sending my daughter to a place I can trust in the future. Thank you Eric!!

Gulfport Garage has been taking care of our 2 cars since we moved to Gulfport over 3 years ago. I have relied on Eric's honesty in gauging what issues/repairs my vehicles have, and suggesting the most affordable options. He never pushes unnecessary services, and is very transparent with expected cost and timelines for repairs. I’ve been going here for years and will continue to for as long as they’re open. Eric is the most honest mechanic I’ve ever encountered. He knows his stuff and his prices are the best I’ve ever encountered. I called to get a quote on a repair that another shop quoted me almost $700 for, said he could do it $300. This was our first encounter, so after that, I knew he was the mechanic for me! My days of being swindled are finally over. Having older cars come with a lot of problems/headaches. but Eric & his staff make dealing with it a lot easier and I’m so grateful to them for that!

Met with Eric at Gulfport Garage (next to where we live )after we took our BMW to another garage who wanted to charge 6 k to repair 2 oil leaks on the engine plus said the front and rear suspension were shot -they charged 350.00 just to look at it ! After Eric’s service man checked it all out replace 2 gaskets and a valve cover ( cracked) checked all suspension and said itwas fine plus went over the whole car - total was 1100. Parts labor !!! Plus that included a new key fob which had to be programmed!!!

Great place; it offered friendly service and gave honest, fair prices for their services that went beyond other repair shops and/or dealerships. The shop only does the service if the car actually needs it and will tell you if the service needs to be done or not. Huge cost savings on that front and would do the same service as other places, but at a lower cost while maintaining high quality. Highly recommend!

Gulfport Garage is absolutely fantastic. My car's radiator had cracked and dumped all the coolant, causing my engine to overheat, which completely killed it. After almost 4 months of trying to find someone to replace the engine, I had 3 or 4 very expensive quotes and the other garages weren't even sure they could find a replacement engine. When I took it to Eric, not only did he find an engine in excellent shape, it came with a fantastic warranty, and he did it for HALF of the other estimates. The turnaround time was only a couple of weeks, and he replaced the engine and the radiator. A couple of days after I picked it up from him, I started having battery problems. I called him, brought it back over, and he replaced the battery for me. Never taking my car anywhere else.

Let's face it. Car trouble is never fun or convenient. Eric would get 10 stars if available. We ran into a glitch as we were ready to leave town due to a family illness. Eric had us meet him early the next morning because he was so filled up so he could take the vehicle in. We got a call back quickly that it was actually something very small (when some garages will rip you off!) and we picked the fixed car back up after we finished our late breakfast. I cannot give this establishment a higher recommendation!

Eric and the team were amazing, empathetic, honest and fair! I can’t say enough great things about Gulfport Garage! If I lived closer - this would be my go-to shop.

If I could give six stars out of five I would. Eric and his team do great work at a very reasonable price. They are pleasant to deal with and completely trustworthy. My friends have been getting their cars and trucks serviced at Gulfport Garage for over twenty years. I have been going to Eric for almost ten years. Got my oil changed there this morning as I had breakfast at the Comfort Cafe. Eric and team were efficient as usual and I got free wipers with my oil change. 😊 Thanks Guys.

I have taken 2 cars there over years. Eric respects everyone and doesn't give a run a round story. He doesn't sell, just let's you know what's going on. Hard to find more genuine people. More than fair with prices and helps wherever he can.

Gulfport Garage came highly recommended from a friend and Eric at Gulfport Garage did not let us down! His patience in explaining the issues and what goes into repairing is greatly appreciated. Does not over promise and under deliver, he is up front and hard to believe with repair shops but HONEST as well. I can’t say enough good to do it justice, his pricing is very fair and he truly puts the customer first. We drive 30 minutes for repairs and well worth it!

I found my new auto repair home *thumbs up* Could it be that a garage just a few blocks from where I live could be honest and reputable, do good work and charge fair prices. Apparently so!

I had some power steering issues and was hearing a noise on my 2006 Altima. I thought it might be a belt? Unfortunately, I had a leak in my power steering hose, didn't take the car in quickly enough to get it checked out and the power steering pump blew.

I dropped my car off at Gulfport Garage and met the owner, Eric who was very personable. He called a few hours later after they had diagnosed the problem, and I was told the repairs could be done that same day and the cost for a new hose and a new pump would be about $625. I looked online and saw that the estimated price range for just the pump fix alone was $503 to $729. His price seemed very fair to me. They finished the repair the same day as promised.

When I went to leave, I remembered about another issue I was having with the car. Eric came outside with me, made an "on the spot" diagnosis that I'm confident is probably correct. I'll be taking my car back to Gulfport Garage to have that repair done too.

Trustworthy, reliable, and honest…best place ever! I have been taking my cars to Eric for years! I am a Home Health Nurse and HAVE TO HAVE reliable transportation! Eric has kept me rolling and safe and stress free. I'm always treated very well and I am comfortable taking my car in for both service and repairs. I trust Eric and appreciate his expertise!
