This was the most beautiful salon I ever been to. My appointment was at 1p.m. I was done by 2:30p.m. Before they start your style they talk to you about pricing and what;
Type of style you're looking for. The owner ShaRon is very nice and easy to talk. Will be coming back again in the future.

I had a wonderful experience at Philly Finest. Upon walking in, you are greeted by a receptionist into a beautiful, clean and serene establishment. Perfectly located on Central Avenue & 44th. I moved to St. Pete 2 years ago and I was happy to finally find a black hair salon that was knowledgeable, professional and cared about the health of my hair. The owner, Sharon, is professional, experienced and kind. Sharon, and her staff/team of lovely daughters are extremely attentive and organized. I got a beautiful protective style that not only boosted my confidence, but it’s so easy to take care of! I got compliments right away! As I’m writing this review, I’m at my second visit at the salon. Highly recommended!!

My first impression from the outside to the inside to the staff and services were absolutely the best I've EVER EVER had in any of the times I've had my hair done at a salon. As a travel nurse, I move around the country a lot....so I've been to many many salons, and I can honestly say that I have NEVER EVER been to a salon as nice as this. From start to finish including my satisfaction with what I wanted and needed done I say this salon surpasses 5stars. There have been salons I've gone to where you walk in...it's clean...but the professionalism is lacking or vice versa...or you'll have both but I'm not satisfied 100% with the style...or they do do on the style but you have to WAIT FOREVER!!!... this is the first time where overall everything was absolutely beautiful, amazing, consistent genuine professional clean orderly and creatively unique with a soothing ambiance and therapeutic energy flow. Extremely professional, yet personable stylist! Appointments kept on schedule, and she has excellent time management so you are in and out within a reasonable amount of time. Not that you would mind spending more time there, though, since the shop is beautiful, clean, and you are well taken care of by the receptionist with refreshments! I will be moving to Tampa later this year and will still make the drive to come here because it really doesn't get much better than this!

I can't believe I haven't rated this wonderful salon before now! I have been going here just about every week for at least 2 years. The atmosphere and staff are great. My hair has grown healthier and longer since going here. And wait...if your appointment is at 2 you are in at 1:55!! This was unheard of for me before with stylists who constantly overbooked. Also, you can't beat the music! Give it a try!

New client and change is always scary HOWEVER I felt at home as soon as I walked into the salon♥ Sherone and her daughter are amazing! Love love love my relaxer, color and trim.. So excited to finally have a stylist that I can stay with.. Thanks ladies, job well done!

Sharon, Sha'von and Rochelle are AMAZING. Having moved from NY to Saint Petersburg, I was hesitant that I would find a salon that had high quality products and friendly staff. Additionally, I've always been anxious about going to salons in fear of being judged for my lack of knowledge on hair. Sharon welcomed me with open arms. She was patient, understanding and honest! She did my hair for my wedding day and I was blown away. I've been back several times since and every time, I walk away a happy customer with healthy hair. Sure you can find another hair salon that is a bit cheaper but you get what you pay for. No overbooking or waiting for hours to get your hair done. Sha'von is also wonderful! I always look forward to my head being massaged as she washes it! She is also knowledgeable on hair care and has given me so much advise regarding hairstyles, etc. Rochelle recently did a pedicure for my mother and I can't believe what an amazing job she did! I can go on and on about the ladies at Philly Finest but you definitely have to experience it first hand to understand how amazing this establishment is!

I had a above and beyond EXCELLENT Customer Service experience! I was well informed about how I should properly care for my hair to get the results that I'm looking for! The Salon was warm and welcoming! Any questions that I had they were answered. I've been looking for this type of Salon for YEARS...I will Definitely be returning. I had a great first appointment with the stylist two weeks ago. She cut and washed my hair. The wash was relaxing. The shop was very nice.
