Star River Chinese Takeout

First time trying their food. I ordered Lunch delivery it was one-time and warm. The shrimp fried rice was excellent. Wonton soup however was watery and not tasty. A shrimp egg roll was best. Will order from here again. The food seems fresh and not oily. Try it out.

Very clean restaurant with excellent food and awesome customer service! The food is not greasy and they don’t overload it with salt. The folks taking orders and serving are very happy and very respectful! It’s consistent with each visit and that says a lot for Chinese takeout! If you’re in the area I suggest you give this place a try!!

First time trying this place and I was really stunned with the prices! I usually order a happy family at other places it’s $18 and up but it was only $12 here!! Also the Crab Rangoons are $9 elsewhere and here it’s $6! The prices are amazing and not only that but the food was delicious. I ordered a happy family, crab rangoons and an egg roll and it was fresh and tasty. The crab Rangoon wasn’t as sweet as I prefer it to be but none the less was still good! The guy who I spoke to over the phone was very sweet and even gave me directions to make sure I was going to the right place. The food was ready in less than 15 mins. The place is as very clean also. Highly recommend 🥰

Everyone who works here have always been extremely helpful and friendly each and every time I stop in or order ahead. The food here is always hot and fresh and made when it's ordered. Everything I've tried here is delicious too! When I stopped by and placed my order today, I'd forgotten how much time had passed and hadn't stopped back in to pick it up, so they just ran it over to where I was at! Amazing service, well above and beyond the expected! Thanks so much! 👍

We absolutely love this place! For over ten years now enjoying their food and prices. Still even though we are being price gauged all over the place, Star River some how keeps the prices low. I don’t know how they do it, but it’s delicious and fresh.

I initially wanted the pepper steak but ordered shrimp egg foo young to eat in. The egg foo young was perfect and delicious but the gravy had too much garlic and spice for my liking and i had already poured the gravy on my dish. Without hesitation the owner replaced my meal with pepper steak and it was DELICIOUS!! I will be back for more great food! Excellent customer service they are so nice... Thank you

Delish. Ordered here four times. Only item I didn’t like was the bbq ribs…it had a tasty sauce but seemed to chewy for rib meat, maybe loin? Fast friendly delivery…2.00 delivery and five dollar tip. Not bad in Covid land. Try the orange chicken.

Wow! Just finished their Roast Pork Egg Foo Young combo. Every thing was delicious and so fresh. I recommend this restaurant and the prices were fair. Delivery took 40 minutes and they quoted me an hour!! Piping hot and very tasty!

Best Chinese takeout you will have in your life! True story, I used them as a dinner service at a place I used to work years ago & have been hooked ever since that was many many moons ago! They have fresh vegetables in their food and good chicken dishes. My fave is the sesame chicken. The texture & sauce is unlike any other. Crab Rangoon, spring roll, shrimp fried rice with bean sprouts, eggs & veggies! Try them you will not be disappointed.

We just moved to West Palm Beach 9 months ago and, with 9 months of searching, horrible Chinese food and rude customer service is as far as we've ever gotten. We are from the North East, so we have our preferences, especially when it comes to what makes Chinese food "GOOD". Well, we have FINALLY found a place that is WICKED AWESOME!!! I ordered the sweet and sour chicken and the chicken was so SOFT!! The rice had great flavor! My husband ordered boneless spare ribs. Though it's nothing like "back home" it was still AMAZING!! I tried a bite! :) Hands down, this is the best Chinese food I have had since moving to West Palm Beach!! We have found the ONLY Chinese restaurant we will be going to from now on!! If I could give it 10 stars, I would! Hahaha :)

Where ever I move to I always try to find a perfect Chinese food place to fit budget and palate. Very happy finding this place! Fried rice tastes fresh, dinner combo comes with entrée, soup, fried rice and an eggroll for about $10, and the employees (owner?) there are super friendly! I would recommend this place to anyone looking to save some money and still get a ton of food. The only downside is that they only deliver in a 1 mile(?) radius but I'm not concerned with driving to get my food. My favorite dish so far is their fried wontons and the eggrolls!

While on vacation my wife and I ordered Shrimp Lo-mein, Chicken and Broccoli w/ white rice, and a side of chicken wings and let me tell you this is by far the best tasting, Chinese food we've had in a very long time. We live in NJ where there's tons of Chinese restaurants and never had the food taste this good. We ordered twice by the way..! Quality food...👍🏻🍜

I’ve known Mr Lee for about 10 years and I used to live right next to the shop. I’ve moved and yet I still can’t find a better place that Star River. Best beef lo mein in Palm Beach County!! I’ve had a lot of their menu and everything I’ve ordered has been nothing short from the best. Love this place and no other Chinese take out can replace this one!!

Just had for the first time. It was delish! I had the vegetable egg foo young w/ a spring roll. This is my go to place!
