Loved this eclectic local art gallery venue- it has such character in each & every art piece displayed. Live music & cozy fire. It's definitely a local art scene fav around St. Pete. I loved all the unique, one of a kind pieces all throughout. Ran into an old friend I hadn't seen in years. You can feel the community spirit deeply here. I'm excited to go back and see all my Art Fam

I can’t explain it but this place has all the ingredients to be an experience on its own. We came here for a party that our friend was one of the DJs and pretty much left at sunrise. The whole night we kept meeting people, dancing, having meaningful conversations with amazing people. We will definitely be back!

Eclectic, Electric, Exciting and Entertaining...but thats not all...its also Intriguing, thought provoking, Engaging, Unique and Sweet. For real...this space is Funky Fun and Always Fresh!! I love this multi-diverse creative collective!

The Mad Monk is quite the singular experience. If you make it out to one of their events, you'll be quite entertained and perhaps somewhat perplexed as the experience itself can be quite disorienting. However, this is meant in a good way. The regulars are often truly bordering on the eccentric; they embrace their madness as they are surrounded by a world of antiques, art, and kitsch, and engulfed by whatever strange, and rather rhapsodic, music is performed in the background.
If you are lucky, the owner of the establishment may entreat you to his philosophical ramblings which are both quixotic and elliptical. However, they do open a door to self-exploration and a probing search for profundity.
Highly recommend.

Enjoyed the vibe here during Second Saturday Art Walk. Lots of cool art to look at and the people are quirky and inviting.

Amazing artwork of so many mediums. Definitely a hidden gem of a gallery, music, poetry, sculptures and paintings from local artists. This is the best example of why St Petersburg Florida is a international arts destination.

What an amazing venue and so much art, magic, and awesome people! The Arts are sacred and this is definitely a Sacred Space for sharing that type of energy.
