This is a lovely, peaceful place; perfect for a long weekend getaway. The hosts are gracious and friendly. Our dog felt right at home. The room had a bed that was very comfortable and the kitchen and bathroom were fully stocked with everything we needed. We'll definitely be back!

We stayed for two nights and absolutely loved it! The room was very clean, well stocked and we loved the pier/deck area!! Our 2 year old lab had the best time! So nice for her to be off leash and able to roam freely in a safe area!! Brooks is so nice and accommodating! We will be back!

The inn was perfect. Our dog was able to move around freely. Great for people who just want to relax with their pets and do some fishing of the deck. The room was very clean and comfortable. Brooke the owner was very friendly. He gave us alot of ideas where to eat around town. Definitely will be back.

Such a wonderful place, very clean and comfortable, and just like home! It is very unusual to find a place so inviting and with such a caring owner. Now that we know we will never go anywhere else. Our Golden Retriever met Earl the heron, fish another guest caught off the dock, and enjoyed great people plus a beautiful bonfire. So did we!!!

Spent 1 month here with our 2 large dogs. Very home like atmosphere with friendly helpful hosts. The Pier at the end of the property is a nice place to relax and go fishing and the dogs enjoyed playing in the bay water. Would highly recommend to those who don't want a commercial structured hotel type setting

BayWaters Inn is absolutely wonderful! Rooms are beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable. The hospitality extended to each guest is exceptional. Sunrise on the bay and the view from the dock are magnificent. On top of all that, they LOVE dogs! You and your pets will feel at home in paradise here!

My father and his little dog Nicki have just enjoyed 2 weeks here while my family & I stayed nearby in our timeshare which does not allow pets. Every moment of their stay was pleasantly memorable.
From the bright, clean, well appointed efficiency rooms, the sunny welcoming dock complete with loungers, the shaded breezeway & lounge to the grassy lawns & abundant toys & waterbowls for all 4 legged guests.
Brooks is a very warm & accomadating host. John Michael is quick to offer his knowledge of the areas shops, restaurants & any needs or services you or your pet may be seeking and happy to build the perfect evenings fire for guests to gather & share stories. We all enjoyed our time spent at Bay Waters in conversation & my Dad especially enjoyed the opportunities for conversation with Sheila. It was hard to leave but we will return as soon as possible.

My husband and I stayed at Baywaters Inn with our two dogs and had an absolutely fabulous time! We stayed in room 6, the Marylin room. The room was absolutely perfect for what we were looking for. Each room has a fully equipped kitchen with full fridge. The ac gets super cold!! If you have 2 couples or a family, the best room on site has the best view and is the size of a small home. Room 8 is definitely where I would want to stay next time! They offer discounted weekly/monthly rates. Trust me, you will definitely want to stay more than one night. We originally booked 2 nights and wound up staying 2 more, and would have stayed longer if we could have!!

The Inn is the best place to stay if you have dogs. It's completely fenced, so your pups can feel at home running freely from your room, into the grass, out onto the dock and into the water. There's a basket of dog toys for your pups to play with and a super cute lab, named Sparky, who would love to roll around in the grass or play in the bay.

There's a washer and dryer on site that is free to use. It was really helpful having the w/d in the breezeway, easy to access and it was so nice to be able to wash some of our wet towels/dirty clothes. There are towels that are available for people and pets to use on site or to take to the beach. After the dogs went for a swim there was also a hose to rinse off the salt water.

The Inn is right on the bay with a beautiful dock that has steps right down to the water. We watched dolphins and manatees swim by. The dogs loved swimming there too! I would suggest bringing water-shoes of some sort for swimming. The water is pretty clear near the dock, but there are some oyster beds and sharp shells. We walked in the water with no shoes and were fine, but I would definitely recommend shoes for extra safety. You could easily put a kayak or canoe in directly from the Inn, which we plan to do next time. Also a nice floaty would be fun to just hang out in the bay.

The beach is a 10 minute walk away, but does not allow dogs. Fort de soto beach was about 20-30 minutes away. We took our pups there at least 3 times on our trip to their dog beach. We love it there and so do the dogs.

Baywaters Inn was really close to all kinds of restaurants. You can just walk down the street to many dog friendly places. Also, Publix was just a 4 minute drive away. We really enjoyed being able to walk around with shops so close by, but we also loved being able to cook at our own place. We cooked a majority of our meals there. They even have a charcoal grill that is available for use, charcoal included! Some restaurants around that are worth driving to:: Mazaros Italian Deli/Market, The Floridian for a cuban sandwich, The Seaturtle for the full english breakfast.. mmm

There are multiple fruit trees on site, including an avocado tree, peach tree, plantain trees, and prickly pear cactus. They even have a little garden with herbs and vegetables. The rosemary plant is doing really well and the dogs loved it. I felt like I was at home, but away from home. It was so nice!! I would get up in the morning, open the door and let the pups out. Make a french press of coffee and walk out on the dock and enjoy my cup of jo with the salty breeze and sun on my face. Even better when a dolphin just happens to swim by.

Seriously, can not wait to go back! It would make an awesome location for a wedding party or family reunion. I am trying to plan some way to go back, asap! Only this time I'm bring my canoe and water-shoes!

Wonderful.... Truly in love with this place to stay. The inn is family owned and you can't get more personable host. Everyone here has a great sense of humor. Everything is quality in the rooms. I've been able to cook some of the best meals we've had all week here. Crab fishing off dock is #1.

Lovely suites in this boutique inn with individually appointed vintage decor. Excellent service in a home-like, dog and child friendly environment. Lots of pluses... cut herbs right from garden to add to your dinner, true high speed internet, peaceful bay view with dock access, fire pit, plush linens and soft quilts in each suite. Owners live on site and aim to please.

Great pet friend kid friendly motel spot by the bay. Convenient by foot, uber or your own ride to a bunch of restaurants, local and big name shopping. Nearby mall has a great theater for catching a movie in nice seating. About 20 minutes from the Florida Aquarium. Overall recommend it--nicely appointment rooms, expensive foam mattresses that support well, most directv channels, wifi, kitchenette. Our golden retriever had fun, and we felt secure leaving her there during the day (no extra spend on a kennel!). Dog toys everywhere. Secure play area for dogs and people to hangout! Will be back.

You will not be disappointed. Saw a few dolphins within feet of their dock. Friendly atmosphere, and very clean rooms. If you have dogs, they will love it.

I have been to many dog friendly places but this place is by far the best and the owner(Mr.B) and his(Mrs. S) are my new found family. They are the nicest people you can find anywhere, I will be a permanent visitor at baywaters Inn.

Owners are so accommodating! This is a little gem in the bay across from St Pete Beach. GREAT location. You won't find a cozy spot like this elsewhere. Will visit again 100%. Have already recommended!
