Gulfport Fire Department - Station 17

On our recent visit to Wal-Mart, my 3 year old daughter saw three Gulfport firemen shopping. She said hi to all of them as they were checking out. As we were loading the groceries, the fire truck stopped, and one of the firemen walked over to us and have her a Jr Fire Chief hat. It absolutely made her day!! I just want to thank these men for their kind act and for all they do for this community!! They are true heroes, especially to my daughter!

I would like to thank the City of Gulfport Fire Department. Not only was their response time quick but they were very kind, courteous and professional. I would personally like to thank two people particularly Chris and Scott! These two guys were a blessing in disguise, me and my family are very grateful for them. My significant other had to get carted off to the hospital, and with Christmas being less than 24 hours away the holiday spirit kind of drifts away when a loved one's health is at risk especially with everything going on right now. A few hours after my significant other was taken by ambulance to the hospital there was a knock at the door. The children ran and said Daddy someone's at the door and they have on hats like Christmas hats. We just moved in the neighborhood so I thought maybe it was the neighbors welcoming us for the holidays. To my surprise it was firefighters that had came earlier to assist with our family emergency. I answered the door and Chris and Scott were standing there with a gift box in their hand and Christmas hats on their head, they stated that they just wanted to bring us a little holiday cheer and was hoping that my significant other was doing okay. It was kind of hard to hold back my emotions as a Man, but this was one of the most kindest things I have ever experienced in my lifetime. I thank them and the children all ran out to thank them as well.
