A very heart felt thank you to all of the men & women with St. Pete Fire & Rescue and specifically the men & women of satellite station #2. Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedules to show my niece just how special and amazing she is for her 10th birthday. We had to cancel her birthday party due to COVID-19 but the amazing men & women of station 2 brought their engine to join us in our birthday celebration "drive by." We appreciate you all so much and she truly felt like a birthday queen sitting in your fire truck! Wishing you all health and happiness, we cannot thank you enough!

Thanks for the water and shower

I was experiencing a tachycardia attack, so my partner called St. Petersburg Fire Rescue to take me to the hospital. Without my knowledge or consent, they instructed a TRAINEE to inject me with an IV. Firstly, this is ILLEGAL because a trainee is not licensed to inject patients, and this is ILLEGAL because I was not notified that he was trainee. Secondly, the trainee incorrectly injected the IV into my skin, causing a water sac to fill-up in my skin to the size of a tennis ball, until I cried out from the pain, looked down, and realised what had happened. Because this trainee was medically incompetent, he caused me a SERIOUS MEDICAL COMPLICATIONS. Why was no one monitoring this trainee? Not only is this illegal, this is MEDICAL ABUSE and MISPRACTICE. I should report you to the authorities and sue.
