I had the fried grouper sandwich and brought home a pint of wahoo fish spread and crackers. This is the first time I've been here but I can tell you now, I'll be back soon. The grouper sandwich was excellent and a decent size. The fish spread is so good and you can taste the freshness in both!

So good! We got 2 shrimp dinners 6 fried 6 scampi with rice, broccoli, steak fries & hush puppies. Delicious! It was busy when we got there but we had called our order in & it was ready right when they said it would be. Everything was hot, fresh & exactly what we wanted. We will definitely be back!

This is far and away one of the most authentic seafood markets/eateries that l frequented in the St Petersburg, Gulfport area. No pretense. Brian the owner, and the staff are welcoming, helpful and perfect examples of Southern hospitality.

The food is fresh caught and prepared to order, the result is superb. A great and reasonably priced place to dine.

Great live music on Friday and Saturday night.

Food is good, servings have gotten a bit smaller. Everything is fresh & the workers are nice & have good customer skills. The only issue is the wait, if ur hungry u best eat something light b'fore u go there. Have to say food is always fresh & staff is very friendly. The young lady that took our order was very representable her name is (Carmen). Has a very friendly demeanor & so does the rest of the workers. Thank u Mid Peninsula.Hubby took me out to eat for our 27th anniversary & this was the place Enjoyed the food. Joshua helped us out w/our order. Thanks to all the staff! I absolutely love this place. The Seafood is always cooked just right and is fresh and hot! This is a small independent restaurant and these are my favorites to dine at. Come out and support your local business. They also have a seafood market.

Great food, great staff, cute and funky dining area, whimsical open mic, meals there are good, fish you take home from there is good. I just like the place a lot. Try the poundcake.

This hidden gem serves some of the best fried seafood I’ve ever had. The staff is genuinely friendly and were very helpful as well.

Must Place to eat at in St Petersburg, Florida ! From homemade corn nuggets, to the freshest seafood I have ever eaten to the most eclectic seating area with terrifically friendly staff ! Do yourself a favor, top it all off with their own freshly made sweet potato pie !! Will be back !

I went there with family for a quick lunch and was not disappointed at all! I ordered the lunch Grouper sandwich with lettuce, tomato, cheese, and had it grilled.
Absolutely delicious.
Service was also fantastic!! The man who handed us our food was sweet, and you can tell he cared about his customers.
And the place itself is also very nice and sets the mood for a nice dining experience whether you're dining in or taking the food to go.
I can't wait to be back next time I'm in the area!!

First time visiting this restaurant. Food was excellently cooked, fresh and delicious. The fried shrimp were particularly good. I also had the smoked salmon fish spread which had a little kick and was the best of its kind that I've had. Prices are very reasonable. Staff is very friendly. Everyone in our party said they were definitely coming back in the future

Loyal customer for 10 years. Truly old Florida style seafood shack. No frills. Don't let that fool you, the food is phenomenal & priced right. Love the very thin breading & peanut oil. Everything is very flavorful. Staff is always kind. Easy parking.

My husband and I came to St. Pete for a weekend getaway. I am a Pescatarian and so we made a search and came across this restaurant. We were so pleased. The food was fresh and delicious!! We sat in the dining room and listened to live music as we enjoyed each other's company. It's truly a mom n pops that will be around for a long time. We will return!

Our first visit on September 24, 2021. The staff welcomed us and made us feel at home. The food was excellent. There was even live music, which we weren't expecting. Overall, a great experience. We will definitely be back.

We stopped in here while on vacation. We received great service and the food was very good as well. We did one of the combo meals that had shrimp, fried scallops, fish, fries, and hush puppies. Everything was good. The fried clams were so good and not chewy at all and the shrimp was cooked perfectly.

Great & FRESH food, always cooked to order never pre-made! I love that about this place.. the shrimp is awesome ( never fishy tasting or mushy) their chicken sandwich is huge & so yummy 😋 & I absolutely dig their fries & corn pups❣ Can’t say I’m big on their coleslaw, but hey, everyone has something they don’t like... however their seafood is great 👍🏼 & seeing I’m born & raised here on the coast I DO KNOW GOOD SEAFOOD 🦞 this place is definitely a winner ❗PS it is family owned & operated, which I like.

Y'all, this is my favorite type of restaurant. It's easy to miss, non-descript, and bursting with character when you enter. There's only 10 parking places in the front, but there's some additional parking on the side.

They're a fish market first and foremost, but they gave a rather large seating area as well. The folks working there had a lot of character, and they were so kind in every interaction. I got the Mate Plate which was $19.99 and came with scallops, shrimp, oysters, fish, and a side. I chose rice pilaf. It was well done. I've developed quite a fondness for scallops.

They had live music when we went, but it wasn't at all overbearing. It was a wonderful experience, and we're looking forward to bringing friends over to try it out!
