Colby-Alderman Park

I've caught some nice bass out of this lake. It's a very beautiful park. Lake Colby is a great place for the entire family. There's a cute little park there as well.

Beautiful park. We walked down from the welcome center and as soon as we got down to the park entrance we were greeted by a rooster that followed us and basically became our friend the whole time we were there! Very peaceful area to be in for meditation too if that is your thing.

Been coming to this park for years and always find new things to see and explore. Awesome trails with tons of little side foot trails off the beaten path. Has a sand vollyball net, playground, swing set, pavilions with picnic tables, bathrooms, nature trails, and a really cool bamboo garden with little springs. The location makes this place really special. Good energy.

It's nice quiet little park to go to to watch the sunrise or set.. It has clean bathrooms and handicapped parking for the facility. There is a playground for the children and a beautiful pawn to enjoy. It was out there this morning and saw several kayakers.

This beautiful park has scenic trails and a gorgeous lake. There is so much to see and is abundant in vegetation, life and positive energy. ❤

We jetski here, it is beautiful. The playground is nice, also.

Dirt and paved trails, bathrooms, kids play area, volley ball sand pit, horse trails, boat launch, ample pavilions and picnic areas, nice view. Connects to Lake Macy boat launch area via trail.

Cleanest bathrooms I've ever seen in any FL park I've been to. Nice scenery great playground for kids people bring their dogs down there but they have to be on leashes and if you do go on the trail watch out for ticks.

Really pretty and fascinating park. Gives a lot of background on the history of the area. Plenty of scenic trails to explore.

Beautiful, quiet, friendly locals. A great place to spend a Saturday with kids, or just exploring on your own.

Stop here every time i visit the area. Small but has a nice walking trail and a large playground

A hidden gem! This location has a reasonable playground and swings for kids, a picnic pavilion, boat launch, and a series of paved and unpaved trails to explore. The natural wooded area has signage describing the history of the property and some of the natural and man-made features.

We ended up here when Blue Springs state park was already full at 9 am, and we had time to kill before our next stop. I'm so glad to have discovered this park. The paved trail is great, and the views were really stunning. We will definitely be back!

I enjoy this little historic hike. There are signs marking and explaining the historic significance throughout the short hike. The citrus trees were in bloom and smelled heavenly. The walk is very well kept and very clean , although there was some ugly graffiti marring the wooden overlook upon Silver Lake. There's a nice pavilion with picnic tables, as well as benches along the way. There's plently of parking at the trailhead. The lake is popular with anglers. There are numerous picnic areas at the park itself, along with a playground and bathrooms.

Nice park with some nice trails to walk on and a small lake as well.

This a great park for families. The playground is fun for the little ones, the lake is good for fishing, the pavilions are great for picnics, and the paved walking trail is full of natural Florida and some Cassadega history.

Love walking the trails and going to long dock then we go into the bamboo forest. ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE ♥
