Jasmine’s Dominican Style Salon

I have been going to Mrs. Heather for a few years now and also bringing my two daughters. She tends to each of her clients based on their specific hair type. One thing u don’t smell walking in her shop is burning hair. She has helped keep our hair healthy and assisted in growing it down our backs. We only go to HEATHER! The wait time is never long even for walk ins. Not only does she provide great service she is also very warm and welcoming :)

This salon gets a Thumbs up! I had an emergency and needed to leave town. My regular stylist was booked. So I called this location and she had a opening. If I could rate it with 10 stars I would. I was greeted with a professional hello and great smile. The place is clean and welcoming. I didnt't have to wait to be serviced she took me on time. I received one of the best shampoos and silk presses I ever had. My hair was not manipulated or over heated. I received enormous amounts of compliments. Let's say I've already booked my next appointments!

I had an amazing experience at your salon. The owner Heather did an amazing job with my hair. I loved my color and deep treatment she gave me. Her cut and style was perfect as well. Also, I love how she didn't get the color all over me. I would definitely recommend your salon and would coming back soon. Thank again for an wonderful experience.

Prior to going to this shop my hair was shedding, breaking and a little dry. I received two shampoo's and a relaxer from here and my hair is shinny healthy bouncy and full. It is a first come first serve, but you will not spend all day sitting in the salon. There are NOT any hidden fees as the prices are explained before the service. The owner has been doing hair for over 30 years and her work is speaking for itself. I recommend this shop to anyone who want to grow their hair long and healthy or if you just want to keep it healthy better yet if it's not healthy she will get your hair healthy.

My daughter is three years old and does not like getting her hair done, her hair is very curly and hard to manage. The staff was very professional and helpful they were understanding and managed to get her hair straightened and styled beautifully for picture day. I would definitely recommend anyone to this salon. I called around everywhere and no one would take her because she is so young. Thank you so much for y’all’s help!!! We will see y’all next month.

Dominican Sugar is the best salon I’ve been to in this area. The customer service is great, and I ALWAYS leave with my hair looking fabulous. When I first started coming here, my hair was very damaged and thin. After coming here consistently, my hair beacame healthy and full. They use high quality products that work very well. Lastly, the prices are much better than other salons in this area. Highly recommend!

Elci a great owner. She is knowledgeable about hair and not shy about letting you know it. I enjoy the Spanish conversations and feel quite at home. My daughter is very tender headed but always forgets the pain through the process because she loves the results. I continue to come back because my hair lasts for weeks, I love the results, and feel gorgeous when I'm done.

I am very picky when it comes to hair care and I was looking for a new salon close to home. As soon as I came in a customer was checking out and her hair was gorgeous! !! so I became excited for my turn :D. All of the girls know how to do hair, I watched each one with their clients. The owner of the salon has a passion for what she does and its evident with the outcome of her work. Environment was clean,accommodating, 90's merengue and salsa playing in the background, and it felt like home.I never had my hair washed with my feet propped up and also given a robe to wear, needless to say it was relaxing. The prices were very reasonable for the quality of care. I found me a new salon home :D.

Elsy is an expert when it comes to hair! She knows exactly what to do to keep your hair healthy and make it look good. I got my hair dyed and it came out amazing! After spending hours taking time to get the right colors, her expertise and patience truly shined when she was finally finished. Passion for hair is an understatement when it comes to her and she works diligently to make sure that you are satisfied with what you leave with.

Ms Elci did an Awesome job on my hair today. My normal salon was closed (on Sunday) so I decided to try her shop. I’ll be back. I was very happy with how my hair turned out. Thank you again! Now I can go to work on Monday with great hair, lol.

I wanted a silk press and when I tell u it’s BONE STRAIGHT believe me! My hair type is 4c and no one has EVER gotten my hair as straight as the lady who did mine. I didn’t get her name but If I’m not mistaken she was the owner. I appreciate u so much!! I would definitely recommend anybody that’s skeptical to come here. I will be a regular customer going forward.

I've been coming here for over five years and I am always satisfied with the the outcome. My hair looks fresh almost a week after. The employees are very nice, and the hospitality is awesome. These ladies are definitely very good at what they do.

I have been to this salon 3 times for trims and a wash and blow. Each time that I have come, everyone has been so friendly, accommodating, and they have delivered fast service. I definitely recommend this salon to anyone that is looking for quality and professionalism. Elci is the best! She is very personable and I have found a new salon to call home! Thank you!

I know Elci since 2010 and I am always satisfied with her service and care, she is attentive to her customers' preferences and is one of the best hair care specialist I've met so far in Atlanta. I no longer live in Snellville and my hair really miss her good treatment. She is the best stylist and doesn't use flat iron unnecessarily. I highly recommend her.

Heather was absolutely a delight! I love this place and I will go back, possibly with my Mom because the atmosphere is clean and welcoming. Heather is attentive and concerned with hair growth and her customers. Knows exactly what she's doing. Go here! :-)

This only my second visit but I must say these ladies are fantastic in what they do. I have visited multiple Dominican salons and this one is the best thus far. I'm very picky on who touches my hair and sugar beauty will be my go to salon going forward. Prices are reasonable and quick.

After calling around to several salons in the area yesterday, this one was not only able to accommodate me as a walk-in but was also able to care for and style my hair in a way it has never looked and felt before. Needless to say this is my new beautician! I recommend this place to everyone.

I tried the salon for the first time about 4 months ago. The service has been outstanding, every time I’m in the salon. I am very funny about who I allow to touch my daughter’s hair but after my second visit I was completely satisfied and now my daughter and I are in the shop every two weeks. Great service, pleasant atmosphere, nice ladies, who offer in and out service.

Maria and Heather were absolutely heaven !!!! I recently had a car accident and had some sores after the accident so once they healed i decided to see if I could handle the work to be done to my head so I called and scheduled a appointment came in and told them my concerns and they gave the best TLC I’ve had done . Absolutely in love with this location 🥰

A parent actually recommend me to this salon. I should have post this right after my visit but I got so busy. I have daughter with natural hair. And I was looking for a good salon. Today at work another parent asked me of a salon for her daughter. The only one I could think of was: Dominican Sugar. We visit this salon back in August the Sunday before school start. We got there early because I know with school opening, a lot of parents are trying to get their Children ready for the first day. These ladies are amazing, it is awesome to sit back and watch them work. They even gave me ideas on my daughter's hair.
I get that you cannot please all customer all the time. While I was waiting; I'd experienced a walkin customer who wanted and ETA on getting her hair done. It was obvious in plain sight how busy they were and it's hard to give an ETA. The customer was not happy with that but, that does not make the individual rude or unprofessional. LADIES CONTINUE TO DO AN EXCELLENT JOB!!! I am pleased with what you do and will continue to tell customers about yall.
