The experience on stone mountain we better than I expected. Workers were helpful and friendly. The prices were reasonable. The view on the mountain was something only the Lord could create. It was breath taking views. Everyone should go at least once. Would definitely go again.

I visited at saturday night time for lunar new year event, and it was incredible. There are lots of well decorated lights to see and many games you can enjoy. Food trucks' foods are great, but all of them were very expensive for the small portion. The drone show blew my mind. It was awesome. Fireworks were okay, but it's short.

My little family and I love Stone Mountain Park. We get season passes about every other year and do most of the holiday events here! The attractions are the same, but they add different events to change it up some. The food is ok, decent park food. Good funnel cakes and Starbucks coffee! We love all of the shops, especially the Christmas and Toy shop! My son loves the dinosaur exhibit and the play area. And especially the splash pad in the summer! The train shows are always entertaining, along with the light and drone show! We like to leave as the fireworks start to beat the crowd and catch them in the parking lot!

Fee was $20 to enter park. Roadways were clear and well marked as were the trails. All attractions were closed which was a huge disappointment considering entry fee to the park. All in all its a beautiful ans peaceful place. I'd love to visit when everything's open.

I absolutely love this park. You’re free to basically do as you want. No one breathing down your neck about anything. It’s very clean and everyone minds their business. I come once a month to hike to the top of the mountain to clear my mind.

It was our first time and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The light and drone show, and the fireworks were awesome. Everything was maintained beautifully. Kids enjoyed every bit of it. We will be going back again.

Ascending on a cable car to the summit of the stone mountain, the journey unveils intricate stone carvings that tell stories of the past, adding a cultural touch to the adventure. Reaching the summit, a beautiful view awaits. Be vigilant while walking on the mountain, there’s few steep slopes. Whether engaging in recreational activities or enjoying a leisurely picnic, the majestic surroundings create a perfect backdrop for a fun-filled day. The harmonious blend of nature, art, and entertainment makes this park retreat an ideal destination for those seeking a memorable and diverse experience.

The mountain was clean, it was a pretty good hike for us. The walk up trail was good, we were lucky to see a white tailed deer on the way up. The mountain is completely granite, it's smooth. A good grip shoe helps to get control while to get up the last part of the trail. There is a small snack bar in the top, good hot chocolate and popcorn served. You can get tram tickets as well..

Cool place to visit. We love Stone Mountain. A very interesting part of history etched in the side of the mountain. Hope they don't "erase" it like they've done almost everything else of our southern history. They have concerts and laser shows on the lawn and side of the mountain. Awesome place.

Went for the Halloween festival and it was amazing. It was out first time to Stone Mountain. The children loved the dinosaur display and the train ride. I do recommend VIP so you don’t have to stand in line as the wait can be quite long during holiday events. The end of the night light show with the fireworks was the icing on the cake for a great day.

Fun, fun, fun. My family and I have visited this wonderful place twice this year. First time during Halloween. Second time after Thanksgiving. Pleasant atmosphere, a super nice time to spend with your loved ones. There are lots of things to enjoy. The parade, train ride, skyride, and drone show are a plus.

Wonderful park with something for everyone! Impossible to explore the whole park in one day, so pick what you would like to focus on if you are doing a day trip. Train tide is very informative about the history of the mountain. If you live nearby, the membership is definitely cost effective. (No membership means you pay for entry and certain attractions are extra.) Membership pays itself on 2nd visit! Love this park! 😀

Buying tickets in advance is surely recommended. We cut through the wait line and saved 45 mins. Went there for the Lunar new year festival and it was amazing! 🤩

This park is great!! Taking the Skyride cable cars to the top of Stone Mountain was the best part. The whole park is huge and very well-maintained. If had more time, I would have explored more of the park grounds.

I went to Stone Mountain for the Pumpkin Festival. Stone Mountain is ginormous, and there were several events going on that day. Very clean park. I loved how everything was lit up for the festival! I still have so much to see there.. great place!

Great place to hike. It would be better though if all the prices were clear online. Some of the things are only available during the week this time of year in September and October. Some of the main attractions are closed during the weekday. Pretty much it's just the hike and a sky lift during the weekday.

Parents and I went to the park for the PumpkinFest, had a blast! It was jam packed because it was both a Sunday and the last day of the festival but it was still fun! We rode the train, walked the trail up the mountain, saw some shows, and watched the drone show. Loved how it was lit up for the season. It was a nice day for it too! It’s definitely a park for young kids, but still enjoyable for older folks if you take time for the trails and educational aspect. Will come back for the drone shows!!

Stone Mountain is certainly worth a visit especially if you are in Atlanta, looking for a scenic hike, and have limited time. It's roughly a 25min drive from downtown Atlanta. Different posts on Google stated parking at the base of the mountain costs money, so we parked in town about a 10min walk from the park entrance. The hike itself is 1 mile and of moderate difficulty as it is steep at certain points. You have the option to take a tram up from the base to the top but it was out of service when we arrived. At the top of the mountain is a visitors center with restrooms, snacks, and drinks. The view at the top gives a great 360 panorama of the area with Atlanta easily in view. I highly recommend this quick getaway to get a breath of fresh air.
