Israel Cabanas, DO

Dr Cabanas is very pleasant and seems truly concerned about me and my mother who both are under his care. I just recommended him to my long time best friend a few days ago. I was surprised by the low score he received so I felt to leave a review. I will definitely agree with what a pain in the tail it is to reach a human in the office. You can’t just call and speak with someone, it’s usually a middleman(woman) who sends a message. The patient portal usually gets a response that day. The receptionist isn’t exactly a friendly face and I can definitely relate to other complaints about that but other staff are very friendly. Cabanas deserves a better rating than 3.5 and like I mentioned I just referred him to a long time friend.

I have been a patient for 7-8 years. Dr. Cabanas cares about my well being. He is a true professional. Front office staff has changed but not my care.

I have been bringing my family here for some time and I am still impressed with the courtesy care and respect the staff gives to us. Thank you for taking care of my loved ones.

Been going to Doc Cabanas for 25 years...

OMG. The wait was incredibly long and the only time clients were informed of the wait was when asking an extremely incompassionate receptionist who told the same lie to everyone over and over that "the room is being cleaned". It might be better to just tell people the actual time of the appt (we were told 10:45 but they put it on their calendar as 11). This is not a place for professionals accompanying elder patients. Find another doc!

Good doctor if you don’t get sick. I tried making an appointment with him because I’ve been sick but they can only offer me an appointment a month away. No point in even having him as a doctor.

If you value your health and sanity please do yourself a favor and find another Drs office! They do not care and for the most part are incompetent. Dr Cabanas office used to be incredible till Emory took over and it’s not about the patients anymore only about their processes which have affected countless patients! We are now leaving since their front office has lied countless amount of times to us and you always get a different answer! You don’t wait till someone is out of their medicine to tell them they need you to come in before they will refill it! Keep in mind my wife has been waiting a week and calling everyday and a week later that’s the outcome! You should not be able to practice medicine!

It is a nightmare!! that all l can say . .As much l want to see Dr.Cabanas . Unprofessional, helplessness. No call back, hard to get an appointments.
