Great Clips wouldn't see me even though still had 30 minutes til closing. Came here instead. Did a hair and beard trim even though was ten minutes til closing. Did a GREAT job

Walked right in and was able to get in the chair right away. I didn't get the lady's name, but she did a fantastic job on my high and tight with no guard. Thank you again second chair lady on the left.

This place was a pleasant surprise for me. I was simply in the area and needed my son's hair cut. I saw it tucked in next to Lowe's and there was a steady steam of people coming and going. Its because they do an outstanding and thorough job! And they are so friendly and welcoming. I would take the 30 minute trip here just for a cut for my son since they did such a great job.

Went there for the first time. Loved it. My stylist was very courteous and very respectful. He cut my hair exactly how I expected it to be. My twins ended up getting a haircut as well. We are going back!

They cut your hair with scissors and stuff.

I've been going for something like 10 years or more. The people here are all very nice, do a good job, and there is maybe a 5 minute wait. I think I had to wait 20 minutes one time when they were crazy busy but usually there isn't any wait at all. They're great!

J's salon is the best around Gainesville! My husband and son goes once a month. We choose Troy to cut my sons hair simply because hes cut it for 8 yrs now. My husband prefers Amy or Kevin to do his but they all do an amazing job !

I've been getting my hair cut here for years. I'm moved 30 miles away and I still make the drive. I keep my hair short cause it's thin they are are the only place that I trust due to horror stories in my past. Best fade ever love this place.

$13+tip for a guy's haircut. John's probably my favorite but they're all great at what they do. Great place for a picky first-timer, especially if you're new to the area and need to establish a routine. I don't even have to think about where to go around here any more. It's cheap enough that I can go more frequently but can't say I've asked about touchups on the neck or anything. I'm guessing they have a small fee for that or have some kind of plan. Always complimented after a cut. Great people!

I absolutely love this place!!! They never disappoint on cutting my boys hair! We've been going here for years and travel 45 min round trip! I wouldnt go anywhere else! Kevin and Paris are our favs!! 5 stars from me!

Been going to J’s over 12 years, I’ve NEVER walked out of there unhappy with my haircut, every staff member there I trust to cut my hair, and I’m one of the pickiest people in the world when it comes to getting a haircut, their the only ones who can cut it EXACTLY the way I want it, I don’t even have to explain what I want anymore of course for being a dedicated customer as long as I have, great folks, they will ALWAYS.be my hair cutters, ohh yea, I drive an hour 1 way, an a hour back home their that good!! I moved away from Gainesville 7 years ago, but still will only go to J’s. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

My son has been getting his hair done here since he was a year old and he is 4 now and my sons hair grows real quick.i love the service ive never had to wait i have never had a problem with them i wouldn't think taking my son anywhere else for a hair cut

Second time coming here and they do not disappoint. They are very welcoming and have a lot of experience. The inside is very clean and they sweep/clean after every person. Will definitely come back.

The first time you walk into a new place you might feel nervous or anxious. Walking into J's was different, the second you sit down you know you're in good hands. I'd highly recommend J's to anyone.
