Solid BBQ spot in the heart of the Industrial side of Gainesville. Their BRUNCH on the weekend is EXCELLENT but their regular menu is fun and full of flavor. Their staff is friendly and parking isn't an issue. Good food with good people!!!

Edit: Sunday brunch is always awesome. So good. I always get whatever French toast of the day they've got plus a brunch item 😂

Great sandwich but for these prices is it too much to ask for table service vs counter order and pickup service. $22 for sandwich, stew, tea, CC surcharge and $1 tip because I am growing weary of tipping for anything other than table service.

The lunch itself was great, not too many people in this area make pork this way. The desserts, including the cheesecake were excellent! I know some people don't know what good banana pudding even is anymore, theirs is excellent. The topping was a pleasant surprise, great way to get those flavors into a dessert without turning the pudding into a mud puddle. Overall great experience and would recommend it to anyone...

This place is great - Chef Jimmy knows his BBQ. From lunch to dinner to Sunday brunch, we have never had a bad meal. The brisket, pulled pork, chicken, sides - it's all AMAZING. I wish I had pics to share, but once the food is in front of me... I just eat!
If you are looking for delicious BBQ in Gainesville, The Inked Pig is a must go!

This place is one-of-kind, one of the best BBQ joints in Georgia. Not only are they experts at smoking meat, they also put a twist on lunch items & have a great selection of original side dishes.
I’ve also had their Sunday brunch and that too is amazing! I had the sausage gravy w/ “cat head” biscuit, potatoes & eggs. I always leave full & satisfied, and my taste buds always thank me afterward.
Their hours are very short, 11-2 on weekends & close at 5pm weekdays, so you have to plan your visit, you can’t just drop in whenever you want. But this isn’t fast food! This is a family-owned business, run by some guys who love BBQ and are always bringing new ideas to the menu, which always makes things interesting & fresh! They also serve a variety of local craft brews, and their banana pudding is a must, whenever you stop!
Do yourself a favor and drop by The Inked Pig ASAP, you won’t regret it!

I love this place. It is a classic example of a place that has a limited menu, on purpose, and executes it extremely well. They have specials each week and a great brunch menu on Sunday with some amazing French Toast. It is an absolute winner.

We went for brunch on Sunday at 1 as a family 6 and we had the best experience. We walked in immediately ordered and got our food in a timely manner. We tried the chicken and waffles, biscuits and gravy, and the brisket ragout. Everyone enjoyed every bite ! We are looking forward to come back lunch next time!

Sunday Brunch is delicious. Go with the pancakes only if you have someone who will help you devour these big fluffy clouds of goodness. we shared the Trainwreck Waffle which was a different play on chicken and waffles, it wasn't bad but it also wasn't a combo we would choose to try again. The grits are buttery deliciousness and the coffee is tasty and strong.

The Inked Pig catered our company event. The food was absolutely delicious! In the banana pudding, there are no words for. I had to go back and get seconds.

10/5/19: Best Brunswick stew and other wonders (see below). Also, they have *excellent* to-go containers. No iffy styrofoam here. A quality place.

7/27/19: Fabulous Brunswick stew! Very thick. Very meaty: shredded and chunks of meat. A little heat, a little sweet. A few Lima beans and a little corn. Wonderful stuff!

7/18/19: Had lunch with 5 old friends today. The company and food was great. I had 3 fat slices of brisket, hot, juicy and complete with smoke rings, collards with a bit of meat, slightly sweet with a little heat, and chicken mull. If you haven't eaten here you should. The BBQ and sides are a little different but great. Didn't have dessert today but have had in the past. They were all great. My favorite was the apple cobbler.

Great brisket, Brunswick stew, collards and apple cobbler! Brisket was flavorful, portion was generous, thick sliced, and had a deep smoke ring. If you order TAKE OUT, don't forget to GET YOUR OWN SAUCE. It's across the room hidden by the tall, silver iced tea dispensers.

We stopped by for a late lunch after visiting the Botanical garden. Great place for lunch! We each got the classic sandwich. I chose turkey & hubby got the pulled pork. We upgraded our sides to Brunswick stew& the southwest creamed corn. Soooo delicious! My husband is a fantastic smoker & this bbq is very good! The sauce was a nice complement but the meat stands on its own. The pickled cucumbers & onions each had a lovely flavor. We will definitely come back. BTW, the staff was very friendly. Well done!!!!!!!!

Amazing spot! Brisket was perfect. Ribs were sweet somehow and fell of the bone. Sides were very generous. Happy staff and clean facility. Keeper.

I just had a Thanksgiving lunch with my in-laws where they served a Sweet Tea Brine Turkey and it was amazing. I love my mom’s cooking and I once made a great bacon wrapped turkey but this was beyond that. Even better than any deep fried turkey I have had. I just had the Mrs set a reminder to pick one up next year.

What an awesome place to eat. Delicious food, we had the ribs and they're really to die for. Really nice atmosphere, and best of all the service. Customer service was A+, the people here are great!

This place is amazing. This is a modern style of bbq ( no dry hams like across town). My favorite is the brisket with the chimichurri sauce! Another great item is the Mull, which is a stew made with chicken and soda crackers to thicken it up. This is a local thing believed to have been created in Athens. This version uses smoked chicken to add some depth to a normally bland dish. If you have never tried a Mull, I highly recommend the Inked Pig's!

This is a really good spot in Gainesville. I haven't been there for lunch, but I had brunch on a Sunday and it was excellent. I will be back!

Thick, tender brisket. Juicy smoked chicken. Each side has its own character and full flavor. Cute, clean space with indoor and outdoor seating; nice staff. I'm impressed every time I come here. This place is a must-eat in Gainesville!

Andrew and Jimmy (cowners and both professionally trained chefs) created the best pork chop dinner I have ever eaten. The chicken mull and fried okra were honestly incredible. I highly recommend this place!
