Tino's Tex-Mex Cantina Ramada Inn (Mexican Restaurant)

Very good service. The prices were reasonable. Decent drink specials and the food was good.

My boyfriend and I ate here Sunday and sat by the window viewing the courtyard which was really beautiful with all the fallen leaves. I ordered the Chicken Tortilla Soup and a side of guacamole. He got the steak tacos. Both meals were very delicious and the staff was extremely accommodating. Can't wait to eat here again!

I had the 2 enchiladas with rice and beans lunch special. The sauce and filling of the enchiladas was delicious and as good as I can remember. The rice was cooked to perfection, and the beans were flavorful. The portion sizes were generous. Toni’s, thanks for a great experience.

Wow! The best Mexican & Tex Mex I’ve had in a long time. Crisp light tortilla chips, the salsa has a better flavor that the more downscale tomatoey flavored ones around here and appears to be made with fresh cilantro and fresh jalapeños. We were served homemade corn tortillas with our meal.

The table side guacamole was a treat and a nice amount of lime juice in it.

My vegetarian enchiladas were huge and I now much prefer ranchero sauce to the typical canned enchilada I’m used to.

First time here. We’ll be a regular.

Great staff. Food was to me very fast. I only had time to drink half a beer. This is the 2nd night I have ate here. Great both nights. Will be eating here tomorrow. If you stay at the motel I highly recommend you eat here.

Wanted to try someplace different after boating all afternoon on the lake. Tino's popped up on the search for nearby restaurants. The restaurant was clean, the staff was polite and attentive, and the prices were fair. I ordered the Burritos, and I wanted brisket even though it wasn't an option. They made them with brisket, and they were super delicious. I'm definitely going to revisit the restaurant again.

The food was the best I've had in a long while! Our waitress was fun. Great service & only had to waddle a few steps to the room! 😋

Staff was polite, and friendly, and service was fast. Brisket enchiladas and chicken taco salad were delicious.

All Mexican Restaurants say they serve authentic Mexican food, but let me tell you they don't. They all serve Tex/Mex
Tino's says they serve Tex/Mex, and they do. I love an honest restaurant Like Tino's they serve what they say and more.
As a Texan/Mexican I recependo Tino's Tex-Mex Cantina.

Got there at Happy hour. Had $3 margaritas twice and flautas. Then had more margaritas and Nachos . SO GOOD! And took tres leches cake for dessert. DELISH. AND service was super good and fast. Our waiItress was so sweet and efficient. Excellent experience.

Shrimp brochette was wonderful. Came with rice and plenty of grilled onions, peppers and carrots. Shrimp were wrapped in bacon, grilled and covered with melted cheese. It didn't seem especially Mexican buy I will order it again. Oh, and I had the flan for dessert which was great, too. I asked for curbside delivery and called them when I arrived - took about 15 minutes for them to prepare. I parked near the front of the Ramada. It took no more than 2 minutes for my food to arrive. Easy, quick and I never had to get out of the car. Nice folks.

Food and service is always great. Staying at the ramada, connected to restaurant, convenient to always grab a bite to eat and the waitress always suggested something new to try each time I was there. She never disappointed with her choice.

Food was fantastic. The server Faith was really cool. Great environment. It was a very nice restaurant with a nice bar. I would highly recommend.

Great service and fantastic food! Jasmine, our server, was very attentive and friendly. We had the cowboy tacos and it was extremely filling and the presentation was beautiful. We will be returning for lunch often! Highly recommend this location!

Food is outstanding, great portions, reasonably priced and our server was so very polite and attentive. She was an absolute doll!

Let me first say; if you’re like me, not from Gainesville, and unaware of the best local restaurants, then hopefully you benefit from this unbiased review/post. I’ve always been an adventurous eater but the idea of dinning “inside a Ramada Inn” pushes even my comfort level. That said, I’m glad I didn’t give into my inner bougie self and followed the advice of the Local Google Guides’ reviews of this place. Here’s my honest straight forward review of Tino’s:

The food is amazing. If you like shrimp and bacon, I recommend the shrimp brochette. The restaurant is beautiful and very clean! The table side guacamole is so fresh and it is made right in front of you! You won’t be disappointed!

This place is super clean any time I come here I receive a excellent service, the food is delicious the owner is very friendly and he makes sure we are well treated He pays attention to all the details, the place have plenty parking space and have a very nice bar, on Fridays they offer live music creating a very nice environment.

I everything I have eaten at Tino's was excellent. The staff and atmosphere is always friendly. Reasonably priced and the servings are more than most can eat. You will be glad you tried Tino's.
