This is my new sliced-pizza spot! The dough is fluffy with crunchy (not burnt) bottom that holds the toppings until the last bite. I love that they add fresh basil, hot honey, chili oil and crushed chili flakes on any topping free of charge! The tomato base tasted fresh and is not overly seasoned.

Next to the beverage fridge, they also have day-old slices for 1/2 of the regular price for to-go too!

Friendly staff, clean space. Affordable pizza! I got the vodka slice and a buffalo chicken slice. I wish there was no blue cheese but I get it. I got a cheese slice to go and it tasted amazing after reheating in the air fryer. I love the food here, will be back!

Counter service spot serving up some of the best grandma style pizza anywhere. Pizzas available by the slice or the whole pie. Option to add "everything" when it comes out of the over... garlic infused olive oil, fresh basil, pecorino cheese, crushed red pepper, and Mikes hot honey. These pies are packed with flavor! Recommend the vodka sauce slice add ricotta - WOW!

Heading home after work. I decided I did not feel like cooking. I stopped by this neighborhood spot for a quick slice of their delicious pizza. I am definitely glad I did. As I was walking in, I noticed there was a sign about their tomato bisque soup. I thought I’d give it a try and let me tell you I’m glad I did! for the pizza, I tried their buffalo chicken, and which I asked for basil and ranch dressing drizzled on top. The flavor was insane. The other slice was pepperoni with basil and ricotta dollops, which was super tasty. I’m definitely gonna stop by here more often.

Exactly what I wanted for my Chicago slice of pizza. Very fresh and high quality ingredients. Surprisingly, the buffalo chicken with blue cheese was my favorite slice!

The crust is thick, crispy and chewy - it is grandma style that is definitely Italian influenced.

Quite enjoyable, fast service and great for a single slice or larger pie. They heat it up for you so it is toasty right when you leave !

Great restaurant super nice and is my go to as an actor if I forget meals because it’s tastier and cheaper then Taco Bell. I’d love the option of non plastic silverware at some point but also it’s a family business so I totally understand.

Out the gate, this might be my favorite "SPECIALTY" pizza in Chicago. The 'GRANDMA' style of pizza is not something you get in Chicago at a lot of places, and this place is definitely an anomaly. I've gotten the slices here (with the "EVERYTHING ON IT" option), and it's just a well-made piece of pie. The crust is truly the star, as it's fluffy yet has a bit of crunch to it, and wide! The way I'd describe it is like a distant cousin of Deep Dish, but a 1st cousin to Detroit Style. I got the full pie, and let me just say the reheat value on this is superb! It might actually taste BETTER when reheated either on a skillet or in an oven at 400 (7-8 mins). It's consistent, the price is worth the value, and the quality is on point. Trifecta!! Shoutout to EL PRESIDENTE for putting me on. I've passed this place several times and gave it a shot thanks to BIG DAVE! Highly recommend!

Finally, a Sicilian style pizza shop with amazing grandma pizzas. This place is the real deal. I also love the options to finish off your slice. Chili oil, red pepper flakes, fresh basil and “hot” honey Delicious! Check it out.

The atmosphere is clean and cozy but it's the pizza you're looking for. I love Chicago pizza but if you ever wondered what authentic Italian pizza tasted like, this is the place. It's not drowned in sugary sauce and you can taste how fresh the ingredients are. As I was reviewing the menu for the first time, the owner was carrying fresh produce. The family owned joint is super cool and calm when correcting my guess at its origin story...hint, it's not Detroit style. It's Grandma Sicilian style and it's amazing.

Love this tucked away gem of a shop. Pizza is light and favorable where you could just keep eating more. Our whole group loved it and just had to come back the next day.

Definitely try the sausage and throw some hot honey kn that. YuM.

Delicious pizza- I quite enjoyed the crust. It had real flavor and a nice crisp to the bottom. The free add-on toppings are extra tasty too.

Square cut pan pizza slices (grandma style) that don’t miss. Crust is light but sturdy, and always crispy with good cheese. Italian beef slice with giard is a must try. Great stop if you’re getting off at the Belmont L. If someone says they’re craving Jet’s bring them here.

Came in for a slice of the Buffalo chicken pizza, just for something to hold me over between lunch and a late dinner. That was one of the best decisions I made that day. The service was great and friendly, and my food came out quickly. The pizza itself had so much flavor, the perfect amount of spice and a crunchy crust. I loved the toppings included on the pizza after cooking (some include hot honey, ranch, and red pepper flakes).

I randomly went here last night. Best slice in Chicago. I usually don’t even like thick crust, but this place changed my mind. The guy working there was so nice to everybody too. I will definitely be returning

Very good Detroit style pizza that you can buy by the slice. Good option for lunch, dinner, or a late night after the bars. Highly recommend getting everything on it.

This is simply the best place to grab a slice. The employees are so kind, the pizza is delicious, the prices are amazing, and you just have to get your slice with everything on it! My absolute favorite spots for a slice!

Got a regular cheese, a vodka sauce, and a buffalo chicken slice. All of them had crispy airy crust and good cheese to sauce ratios. Wish I’d heard of this place sooner

They have incredible Pizza. They call it "Grandma style", it comes in a square and is so delicious. The crust is crunchy but inside its fluffy and light. They add on Garlic infused olive oil, Pecorino cheese, fresh basil, crushed red pepper and Mikes hot honey. If you want it all say "everything on it" it's AMAZING. The owner is a real cool guy and stops to have conversations with customers. I highly recommend giving this place a try.
