The Family Tree Garden Center

They make places like Homedepot and Lowes look like convenient stores when it comes to plants. I found the boxwood shrubs that I was looking for at a great price!

Decided to buy our Christmas tree here this year. Their prices were no different than the big boxed retailers yet they have the trees displayed so nicely where you can appreciate all sides of the tree. This definitely makes it easier to pick “the one” for your home. They got this process down to a science, once you pay, they take your tree, trim some pieces if ya want and wrap it up. You drive your car around and they load it up. I have also shopped here before for plants and they have an excellent variety to choose from and knowledgeable staff.

So very sad to walk in upon receiving text to see it all stripped down. Have come here since moving to Gwinnett more than 10 years now. Going to miss this quality, craftsmanship, expertise, merchandising and my two favorite lines: Proven Winners and Espoma. No one did it like you, Family Tree! So sorry to see this departure...wish another would've had vision and desire to purchase the business to perpetuate its goodness. Best wishes on your retirement!

Beautiful nursery! Fun fact: This used to be a Pike's nursery, so inside, you can find a Pike's museum! Cool, unique, and personal artifacts!

Ps: In the picture that looks like a Golden moth,it is actually a rare BUTTERFLY! 🦋 Yep, that's right, it's a butterfly, not a moth! It's called a skipper butterfly 🦋 ✨ 💕 It's said to be an omen of good luck, speed, change, abundance, and overall transformation. 😀

I enjoyed myself they had a lot of different flowers plants plus many more. I will be back again

The place was definitely better than a big box store like Walmart, Lowe's or home Depot if you're going purely for gardening but they don't have much of a cheap potting option, from what I could find, it seemed to be all clay and pretty expensive, nothing around the 1-2 dollar per gallon mark, not a thing just something I feel makes some sense haha. Regardless, the place was nice, their plants were awesome, the selection was very deep, the succulents are neater and more diverse than than big box stores. They're hanging plant selection is also way better. If you want indoor plants, go here but order containers online.

Absolutely love this place I can stay in there for hours looking at all the flowers. The staff is willing to help you and they have plenty to choose from. Go see for yourself! I am a owl collector and when I saw the Great Owl Junipers I had to have them. Then went back and got two more. Just go check it out, you'll have plenty to look at and purchase 🙂🎯

Fran is so incredible. Such a blessing. And Mike took 2.5 seconds to pull a plug out in a container I brought from home, that I had no idea on how to unplug! ☺☺☺ Beautiful plant center, that even have a history section of the family business.

Really nice garden center with tons of options for creating your perfect garden landscape. I usually hit the big box outdoor stores because it’s convenient but this had so much more options and gave me some variety I was looking for.

This place is great. They have everything you need for your garden. Their plants are well maintained, and the people are friendly and knowledgeable. They also have a lot of other home and garden items. Prices are s little higher, but the convenience and knowledge is worth a few extra bucks.

Came here last week looking for flowers to landscape my yard, I had the most wonderful experience with Chris. Chris knows everything about plants, flowers, shrubs, everything in FTGC. I bought the most amazing looking Hydrangeas and hostas, and much more because of him. Not only that, poor thing was using a leg scooter and still was super nice and followed me all over the nursery.

Great place to shop for your garden, your vegetable garden, your fruit trees or anything else you might need for your outdoor yard experience. They also have lots of indoor plants as well. They also have tools such as shovels, potting mix, decorative items, and more. The staff is also very helpful and friendly if you have questions.

I really like the organization of this place. The indoor plants are in a different section from outdoor. And the indoor is organized with sections like low light, which was very helpful for me. These sections and the info labels saved me from googling every plant. The only thing I would add to the info is pet friendly. Overall, nice selection of plants and pots and everything you need.

The Family center has the best selection of flowers and shrubs in the areas around Snellville including Loganville, Monroe, Lilburn,etc etc. They are open year round and have good prices. PLUS the gift shop is wonderful with unusual items for yourself or for unique gifts.

I love The Family Tree nursery. The plants are fresh and healthy and they also have nice gift items. The service people are friendly and helpful. The Florida King peach tree I bought 2 years ago is big and loaded with peaches. Theirs did the best of all my fruit trees. My paw paw tree I got there was larger and healthier too than some I had purchsed 5 years ago that are still very small. Paw paws had blooms this year. Still young for fruit. This is a trio of flowers I got in Feb and my Fla King last year. Amazing!

I absolutely love this place. This is my go to place moving forward to purchase all my plants. Customer service is superb and I was even given vital information to help keep my orchid alive and thriving. I would recommend this place to anyone if you are looking for a variety of plants/flowers.

Have loved this nursery for a decade. So sad to hear that it's closing. Happy Retirement!

An amazing array of plants and flowers, organized presentation, makes it easy and enjoyable to shop for what you’re looking for. And if you don’t know something about gardening or plants, then there are expert willing and able to help answer your questions. Very pleasant and enjoyable experience every time I have shopped there.

Great customer service,Leslie was very helpful went there to buy sod she gave us a lot good tips how to lay them down. Will go back for plants and flowers if you are the area go see them won't be disappointed

I will always give the family tree Garden center five stars, but unfortunately, the owners are retiring so the store is closing…
