Mellow Mushroom Snellville

I've been twice and my ratings are based on my 1st visit as the 2nd visit was very sub par and I'm assuming not normal.

The Cloud Nine Wings were perfect per the description, crispy with a great sauce.

The Meat Lovers & Jalapeno pizza was one of the best pies if had in years. Amazing crust.

Our waitress Stephanie was phenomenal! Very attentive and friendly and she made sure we were well taken care of ( not an easy task with 4 kids ). Food was delicious and had plenty of leftovers to take home. Pretzel bites with cheese were a hit , wings had a good crunch and yummy flavor, kids ate almost an entire cheese pizza and my husband and I were impressed with the size and taste of our calzones. We will definitely be back for good food and great service. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

1st time eating there but definitely won't be the last! Our pizzas were the 💣. I had a small Holy Shitake, and my husband and 5 yr. old grandson had the Mighty Meaty with half of it just chicken because our grandson doesn't eat pork. Our server can't remember her name,it started with an "M",was amazing! She was very personable, attentive, and knowledgeable. I can't believe that we've been missing out on this neighborhood gem. Mellow Mushroom, you've won us over!

Edited to give them 5 stars. Tried dine in 6/12/22. Staff was great, pizza was better than my carry out one...which confirms they did make it early and it sat out before I got there. But my dine in experience was 5 stars. If I ever do take out, I'm going to head straight there so I don't risk them making it early and it sitting. Definitely better for dine in! Hopefully they'll not make carry out orders too early anymore!

6/10/22-Take out experience, 4 stars: While it wasn't the best mellow mushroom pizza I've had, it was good. Pretzels and cheese were good. Wish MM wasn't soo expensive and that cheese came either with the pretzels or that they had a half order of bites! Not the stores fault, but I'd have it more often if those were offered and it was cheaper. $13 for a 10" is crazy!

Again, not the best made MM pizza I've had, but not the worse. Decent and quick curbside service. Not sure if it was just made early and sat out or if it's normally like this though. Will have to give dine in a try one day.

Most folks order the pizza, which is very good, but we like alternative menu items like the meatball hoagie and vegetarian calzone. We also share a Greek salad. All make a satisfying lunch.

Mellow Mushroom is a great pizza place. I think their crust is one of the best. You can customize your pizza in more ways than you can imagine. Nice selection of craft beer. Stephanie was our server tonight and she was fabulous. Helpful and upbeat. Even the young man who brought our pizzas was nice, and very helpful. He suggested we try the beer cheese sauce and he was so right. I wore my vintage Mellow Mushroom t-shirt and everyone loved it. We are going to be back soon.

Leaving a 3-star because when I went up there (during normal business hours, on a Tuesday), they were closed unexpectedly. We may try them again, since we really enjoyed the location in Jacksonville, FL.

Update: we ended up going back a few days later . . . had to sate that MM craving. They definitely redeemed themselves. Food was excellent, service was fantastic, and the only reason "atmosphere" didn't get 5-stars was there was a family there with a screaming kid, that was there longer than we were; so the entire time we were. BUT, I don't fault MM for that, which is why they got a 5-star overall.

Great pizza Served quick.

They have a very expensive convection/Stone oven that is also a conveyor oven.
Fantastic crust. superb stuff, very attentive.

Price is right too. It's no wonder they are the busyest of the mellow mushrooms

Snellville's Mellow Mushroom is one of the best. The pies are insanely delicious and have always been made how we requested. The staff is down to earth and fun. We also appreciate how this location gives back to the community with allowing raffles, community benefit nights, and giving back a percent of sales to organizations.

We love Mellow Mushroom already - who doesn’t. But this Snellville location appeals in major ways. Great old school, classic MM atmosphere. Food - hot, rich, tasty sauce and dough…so delicious. And the staff is as friendly as people get. Our server Stephanie was especially great. She was something out of a storybook - such positive energy, care, and friendliness. What a gem. We’ll be back again and again.

I think by now we all know that Mellow Mushroom has the best pizza in all of Georgia. What makes this location special is Stephanie! Let me say that again, STEPHANIE! Talk about amazing service!

If you come here, be sure to ask if Stephanie is available. She is just awesome, my family just loves her energy and attention to detail.

We only eat Mellow Mushroom once or twice a year, but when we do, it's always a big treat. My mom and children got a meat lover Supreme or somethin like that. It was loaded with everything. Lol. The children highly enjoyed the actual bacon strips on the pizza. My mom loved the fresh veggies, and they all loved the superb cheese pull. I had a vegan veg out cause I'm not a big meat eater. It's what I always get at Mellow, so as always, it was a delight. I really enjoy having vegan pizza options in a restaurant so that's actually a big flex. Anyway, the point is that the food is great they have a ton of options and the food is great.

The staff is super friendly. It's a great spot for a quick bite or a hangout with friends and family. Today we stopped in for a quick salad and slice. The great white is my favorite pie and the house salad is the perfect addition. Those pretzel bites are gone pretty quickly when the kids are with us.

Mellow Mushroom is one of my top favs. Every time I head South. Great food and the customer service was excellent! Shout out to Natalie; thank you.

The food was delicious and the help was awesome. I loved the whole vibe of the place. I was able to watch the kitchen as they cooked and interacted with each other and I could tell just from the way the team laughed and smiled that they enjoyed working here and we're proud of the food they were making. And they should have been. It was absolutely delicious and will be a required stop from now on everytime I make a trip to Georgia!

Got to go to Mellow Mushroom today for lunch. I got the 10" House Special. The pizza was MASSIVE. I could only eat about half, which was sad because it was a fantastic pie. The staff was very friendly, and the pizza was ready very quickly.

First time here but loved it. The ingredients were all fresh and everything made to order. The spinach and artichoke dip was piping hot and served with crunchy garlic toast. The mighty meaty pizza was hot and fresh. The staff was very friendly.

Great food and service. It was a little warm, but after we said something, they fixed it. It was a great way to spend by birthday dinner.

Adorable inside! The staff was friendly the inside as stated was an amazing theme decorated with twists of 70s vibes and the Mushroom theme was carried throughout the restaruant. Food was great, delicious, and decently timed. All in all 5 stars.

I’ve been coming here for years and this location has always been stellar. It’s my go to hangout spot when I want to have a drink and a meal, or just hang out for a few hours. Service is consistently friendly and intimate, you feel loved here. 10 out of 10 recommend.
