Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport

MSY was an easy airport to navigate. If you are renting a car, keep in mind that you must be bussed to your rental car. It isn't walkable. It only took about 15 minutes. Add that extra time in your itinerary. Lots and lots of shopping is available. They sell a lot of New Orleans/Mardi Gras gifts etc. Restrooms were very clean. Would recommend flying into MSY.

This is a good size airport, with many restaurants, cafe and self serve options. Very clean and easy to navigate.

Shuttle to rental car center come around often, however our experience with the rental car center wasn’t as pleasant, and that’s not the airport’s fault, it definitely falls on the rental car company’s incompetency (Dollar / Avis) .

Very beautiful, clean, and spacious airport. Great easy to follow signage. Plenty of food and snacks. Great airport.

A bit of an unexpected thing to say, but this airport is great. It's HUGE. I don't call that out because it's filled with stores, shops, etc. I just say it because you don't feel on top of every other passenger. There's a ton of room to navigate the floor, find seats in the lounges, navigate security, etc. It just works well.

MSY impresses with its well-designed layout and convenience. The HUGE airport boasts a pleasant atmosphere complemented by a range of amenities. From efficient security checks to a variety of dining and shopping options. It was a comfortable stay while waiting for my flights. The staff have been consistently friendly and helpful, adding to the positive experience. I think that it's the cleanliness, accessibility, and overall smooth flow of operations, which makes MSY stands out as a reliable and traveler-friendly airport.

I had a good experience with the staff and ease of access through the airport. I had missed my flight(my own fault) but the staff were so kind and friendly and got us the information and help that we needed. They went out of their way and explained everything so properly that we understood everything. They made the resolution to the situation known and gave us plenty of options that we could take. Going through checking in, to going through TSA and the people at the gate, everyone seemed very friendly and happy to help!

Love the wide, open areas of this airport's newer terminals. Thank you Cesar Pelli, may you rest-in-peace.

The restaurant spaces looked very comfy and inviting. They make me want to arrive much earlier next time to try a couple.

Oh and the bathrooms were the best airport bathrooms I've been to--and cleanest.

I hope they move the rental car center to the new section because now you have to take a 15-minute bus ride. There were busses lined up and waiting, so catching a bus was quick.

If you want to wait while someone is waiting for thier flight at the gate you need to get a guest pass 24 hours before thier flight you have to call the airport to get it I didn't know so I sat and listen to the jazz band play

Very nice airport. Easy to get into and out of. Takes about 10 minutes to get to and from the car rental area. Shuttle bus was available very quickly both times we were there. Security was very easy as long as you followed the rules. Bathrooms were well kept up on and super clean Everyone was pretty friendly and we had no issues

Enormous airport! I really like the upgraded version a lot better. The airport is much more efficient and spacious . You're in an out for the most part 👐

This is a wonderful airport to fly into! I’ve now been in all three areas and they all work perfect. Clean, organized, awesome plentiful bathrooms and good food!! I recommend Emeril’s Table. Worth every penny!

better than it was before. it got some improvements, like restrooms. NOLA is worldwide known, that’s why airport should be one of the first to be fixed. WHO DAT,, big easy…. i will love flying here again and again. KEEP IT UP…..

Airports can be a tricky review. One trip every thing can be awesome and another trip it can be a nightmare with some rating in between the two.

MSY has been pretty consistent in being a very good experience. Everyone that I have encountered has been kind and courteous including the businesses on sight.

Having a band play in the lobby is a nice touch! Bathrooms are kept clean. All areas appear to be clean and organized.

New Orleans Airport is one of the best planned airports in the nation. Arrival is simple- quick and deliberate. Departure is the same. Toilette seat covers are modern and needed at all airports.

Clean and comfy airport. The delta lounge is also super nice to hang out while you wait for your flight.

The updates they made to the airport are phenomenal (except for the entry roads leading up to the airport, but that’s for a different review lol). It’s SO nice and feels “luxury” as far as airports go. The design and architecture are both so modern and a lot of efficiencies were made in the way people enter, check bags, go through security, and board their planes. I travel a decent amount and would say it’s now in my top 3 favorite airports.

Such a clean airport! Love the recycled plastic wrap for the toiletseats that automatically give you a fresh seat every time! Also, you can't beat a Cafe Du Monde stand at the terminal. What a win!

Me and my mom’s flight from here to Miami on Spirit airlines was nice! Straight and to the point and good service from the staff!
