Service was insanely quick despite being a full house and quite a small space.
The entire staff seems to operate as a cohesive team. The cooks/kitchen are fully visible.
My daughter got chocolate chip pancakes that had no business being so good and I tried a variety of things. (Bologna for breakfast? Sure! Grits? Sounds like a requirement! Chunks?! Let's do it I guess- it turns out they're just breakfast potatoes 😆)
Everything was good and our entire bill was $14. My plate at a chain diner would have been $14 alone.

Everything was amazing! Great food with big portions. The service was fast and super friendly, Lisa was the best! If we lived closer, this would be our breakfast place!

Heading outta town for Ohio. Stopped here on a whim and what a fabulous choice!! Breakfast was amazing, so much so why would one want to go to a cracker barrel? I got the pawpaw breakfast everything on the plate was cooked to perfection. The server was on top of things with a great big smile on her face. If you have the chance to stop in, I would say you'd be crazy not too!!!!

Breakfast very reasonably priced and was excellent in taste and portion and the service was spectacular. Always coming by asking if we needed anything and refreshing coffee! Can't wait to go back!

While at a FEMA training, I stumbled upon this amazing little hole in the wall. It was super good! I had their special of (yes) beef liver & onions. Mashed potatoes, gravy, cornbread fritter and fried okra. Plus a tea. Prices were great as was service.

I hadn't ever been to this place before, and really didn't know what to expect when we arrived. But, judging by the number of cars in the parking lot (including several police cars), I wanted to give it a try. This is the best breakfast that I've had in a long time. I ordered country ham, fried eggs, gravy and toast. Everything was cooked perfectly. The prices are very reasonable and the service was great. The only negative was the restrooms. They needed more attention. Will absolutely visit again.

This little gem is a God send. Grandma Ruby herself was our waitress and she turned us on to adding melted peanut butter over the pancakes and shut the front door that was ridiculously good. Don’t….. just try it. I had papa’s meal and that’s enough for a king. It’s definitely a worth the visit and we will be back.

Phenomenal service with a small town feeling! Food was incredible and the best price in town! Catered to my gluten free needs and even brought extra steak to make up for my “small” breakfast ribeye. Great people, can’t wait to come back!

My son and his girlfriend invited me to have breakfast here and it was amazing! The food was cooked to perfection, the service was prompt and friendly, and the atmosphere made me feel like I was back in the country at grandma's house! It was so good that I had to sneak back for lunch🥰

Ok look I'm not biased by a long shot ! I'm a known reviewer ! I know the owner and have actually worked there years ago ....BUT I visited today because I was on that side of town for the 1st time in years! When I tell you my food made me want to move back and work there again! I'm serious, fresh fried pork chop, homemade mash potatoes and gravy ,and steller green beans ,my lady got some biscuits and gravy ..BUT the all star outside of Ivan and Chris and crews phenomenal customer service ,was the fact that i could bring my dog and sit outside on the picnic tables ! But the cherry on top was this insane lemon cake i need a intervention after eating that cake ! My reviews have over 300,000 views and I recommend all 300,000 visit grandma ruby's..an absolute gem! Sooo good!
